Guys, I need a small explanation on what is the purpose of the -k parameter
Using -k zec zec on my rigs is getting me less speed than with the default -k zec
GPU - Sapphire 480 Nitro OC 4Gb
Anyone cares to explain this?
--krnl,-k kernelname set kernel(s) -k zec
- --krnl/-k parameter can have multiple parameters. This will launch more CPU threads, each running a miner with the specified kernel. For now, only dual (or more) zec is supported, i.e. '-k zec zec'
about all i can tell you is what the help me says i honestly don't see a point in using it, it slows all my stuff down and is on by default, i read some place. it's what gave old cards a nice boost when it was added to Genoil's
