They really need a miracle by now. Even if they had won it would have been nearly impossible.

At least St.Pauli was able to win their game at Ingolstadt (ranked last). This hopefully will give them a boost for the coming weeks to be able to compete with the other top teams again. Schalke lost some points with their draw and Nürnberg won and probably can be seen as a competitor for the Top3 ranks!

Paderborn definitely threw this season away over the last couple of games. They haven't lost a single one out of the last 5 games. If they did they would still be competing with the other teams for the top three ranks, but now I would say that are definitely out of the game. They certainly lack the confidence when they are going to face direct competitors head to head. Total failure in the decisive phase of the season.

@mv1986 it’s all but over for them because if you look at their last few games they been absolutely poor, and there’s no way now they’ll be able to climb up in the table.

@bct_ail when you’re in a relegation battle it’s all about the mentality, and putting your best game on the pitch but sadly for quiet a while now they haven’t been able to do it, but with games yet remaining they should remain hopeful and try to produce some terrific performances to escape the relegation zone.

this is the match I'm waiting for in league 2 now because it's really worth watching and this week I feel if one of the teams between bremen/hamburger loses then they will be thrown out because I think Darmstadt , St Pauli and Schalce will face easy matches and chances are they will win.

It is easier to be the hunter than the hunted. The head plays along.
But I think that is also be true for the other teams you have mentioned. The Bundesliga is coming into a phase where the head is very important. How mentally tuned are the players? How do they deal with defeat? How is their will to fight? Many teams have good mental coaches. But whether the players accept these is the other side of the medal.

Indirectly, if the match is getting tighter like now, Mental will definitely decide.
Because indeed this will greatly affect survival in the midst of the fierce competition they do and when the players have a pretty good mentality and can overcome obstacles then of course it will be very good for them to be able to take opportunities at every moment.

Yes man, when you look at ranks 1 to 6 and maybe even 7, it is almost impossible to tell who is going to be promoted into the 1. Bundesliga. That is what makes the 2. Bundesliga so exciting to follow. Otherwise I wouldn't really follow it closely to be honest, but if the results are so close all the time until the very end (which I expect again this year), it is kind of fun to even follow the results of a second league. Even their goal statistics are relatively even and could eventually turn out to be decisive. Everything counts, winning the games, tying the games, every point and every goal for the first 6 - 7 teams. You rarely have such a situation after 23 games played.

Good match because on standing position Hamburg SV just spent one points only with Werder Bremen and who will success lead as winner will get first standing position and large back to Bundesliga next season. I think keep favorite as Werder Bremen with home playing win than Hamburg SV as away team, but looks competitive both team have good performance exactly on second half competition and try how leaving Bundesliga 2 on this season back to top competition again.
