It's not impossible, I think that when Bremen can continue to perform consistently like this, I don't even hesitate to see them in first place.
but indeed Damstadt especially St. Pauli is not an easy rival to beat, especially for St. Pauli. Pauli.
For now they are still in impressive form although indeed in the last few games they have fallen a little bit

you missed another game because indeed they have won 6 in a row now having lost to Holstein Keil.
Their performance has improved after a series of previous draws and defeats and this is quite good I think.
on the other hand I am highlighting their two current strikers namely Marvin Ducksch and Fuellkrug.
they are so active now that they are always compact in scoring goals.

Werder Bremen indeed have been a very impressive team. I wonder when their marvelous winning streak will end. They must be enjoying their level in terms of position and performance also. But they should never overcome by languor. They should be able to keep this up as much as possible to increase their chance of re-promoting to the Bundesliga. I really appreciate their determination as they newly relegated from the Bundesliga. They are doing very well in their first season in the 2nd Bundesliga.

Well they may have won a few games but who are their standout players? The bumdesliga is still dominated by Bayern Munich and Dortmund at a push. Bayern are easily the most enjoyable team with veteran stars to up and coming prospect who are joy to watch on offence. Defensively I don't see them matching up with city come champions league time though. And how can you forget haaland? The sole reason some people watch German football, a dominant machine Infront of goal and with his up and coming transfer news, there will be a spot to fill.

Yes, it's great for Werder Bremen to get 5 wins in a row but I still see Schalke there too. Both have struggled hard after being relegated to return to the Bundesliga, their rivalry becoming even tighter with this close points gap. So far, at least their records are not much different, which means, the opportunity for the two teams I mentioned above is still very wide open to continue to rise until they have the opportunity to return.

Honestly, if we talk about FC Schalke the team was better and also performed like a better team but after the relegation, they have lost their touch. They and Werder Bremen both after delegation look really mediocre as you said.

For Schalke, I think it is kind of hope was right now to think that they are going to be promoted because they haven't been playing like a team that deserves the promotion. But this season they have shown some promises and I think that they can move to the top 3 if there keep playing well.

I'm not so sure about that. Since Hamburger SV was relegated from the 1. Bundesliga, they have played well for the first 25 games (approx.) and are at the top of the table. But then their performance gets worse and they don't manage to get promoted. It will probably be the same again this year.

Currently, HSV is on 34 points which are only five points behind the first team which is SV Darmstadt. So they are not very far behind in terms of points but the way they have played in recent times everyone is a little disappointed.

Their performance was better after they got relegated and probably that was the time when there were motivated to show everyone that they can perform well. But now it seems like that the motivation is lost.

Anyway, if they want to get promoted they will have to play far better than they have in recent times. If they can do that then they certainly can climb up the points table.

The 2nd Bundesliga table has become really interesting now. Every team has so little points difference than the other. Sv Darmstadt seems to be in really good form right now. Their last match was nothing less than amazing. They actually dominated the match. They were better in every aspect of the match. Though it was expected because their opponent is at the bottom of the table.
But still, they put on quite a show to watch.

Now I think that St. Pauli and Werder Bremen have their work cut out. Actually, every team is so close in terms of points, it's hard to predict anything, to be honest. But I expect HSV to climb further up the points table.

Yes, the 2nd Bundesliga is really strong and it is sometimes more exciting than the 1st Bundesliga.
Werder Bremen is a bit worried right now. Corona was detected at 5 players from Paderborn, names are not known. It is very unlikely that players from Bremen have been infected during the game, but nobody knows and the next days will show it.

I honestly think HSV will be pushing for the win in this match as they don't have much of a point difference between them and the teams above. So I think they have the edge here. Schalke will win. I also assume that
St. Pauli plays at home and they didn't win the last home game for the first time. I think they will perform better this time and will show their home strength.
