Bayern Munich will still set a big target this season, which is to become the Bundesliga champion again. They were pessimistic about Kompany's presence but so far he has been able to work quite well. However, the six-point difference certainly cannot relieve the Bavarian troops so they have to work hard in every match to maintain that opportunity. Leverkusen is also still serious enough to catch up with their rivals and Alonso's troops also still have the opportunity to approach Munich's position instead of surpassing their points. It will be interesting when the two teams meet again in the near future, and of course the match will determine the steps of the two teams.

Going by what you are insinuating Leverkusen was very much lucky last season than they are this season and so far they have really not been lucky so they aren't able to get as much point and possibly be at the top as they were last season.  But lest not forget that this session the pressure seems even more than it was last season and it also has a lot of fixtures they have to play and still maintain some relevance across boards,  last season they didn't play in the Champions League but they are this season.

Bayern Munich will not want to go for a draw in this match and if they don’t go for a draw but a win, it will be better for them. They are only six point difference with Bayern Leverkusen, if they go draw with them when they meet, it already signifies that they won’t get to increase the point gap and any loss in some of their matches left to be played, at least two loss in those match will have them catch up with them in points. They know better what is best for them and to be in a safer position, so they should try as much as possible to stick to their consistency in all matches irrespective of the team they’re facing because that’s what will give them the trophy they want this season.

That's why I keep saying, Cup games are really dicey maybe that's why I don't like betting on them often like I do in league games, these small teams are good at throwing surprises on the supposed big teams some times. Yesterday I was surprised when I saw 2 - 0 on the score board. But it's good that Leverkusen came back to their senses and made a comeback.

But maybe, I assume Bayer Leverkusen regained their luck about their success in scoring goals in injury time. I guess it wasnt the reason that Leverkusen get more into the game and took over the play to there side.
As already written they got a lot of chances but missed them.

Cologne tried more than there best , and if they would be always playing like they did yesterday they would be not anymore or still in the second league.
I was really surprised to see playing Cologne like that to be honest.
For sure there was some kind of luck for Leverkusen in the end but also we have seen there quality once more in important games.

It was after the second goal from Kõln that Leverkusen started gearing up to create chances. If Kõln had tried their best to defend their 54' victory till the end they would have proceeded to the semi finals but the determination and courage of Leverkusen as has it has always been even in previous seasons made their comeback solid and they even prevented the match from going into penalty shootout which would have been risky.

Leverkusen dorminated the match obviously but we're sluggish in their attack in the first half and early minutes of the second half. I think they got triggered in the second half after the second goal and this boosted their moral to even go for the win. I love the way they composed themselves to start a comeback when Cologne felt they had made it to the next round.

I bet everyone expected a comfortable game for Leverkusen. But that getting behind by 2-0 was quite shocking. For once I thought they were really going to be eliminated by even Köln.  

However Schick was literally the savior of the game. Scoring 2 goals and especially the one came in the final moments of regular time brought them back to life...

Leverkusen tried really hard which can be seen even from the statistics. Now I wonder who their next opponent will be. If it becomes Stuttgart then things could get more interesting.  

Bayern Leverkusen are in excellent shape. I didn't believe that Bayer Leverkusen would advance to the following round of the German Cup. This demonstrates that they are in better shape and ready to confront anyone. What a remarkable comeback by Xabi Alonso. This coach is doing an excellent job, impressing fans and propelling the club forward in all competitions this season. And they are still chasing Munich in the league table, and if they do not continue to win matches, I am confident that Leverkusen will overtake them. Bayern Munich only have the ucl and Bundesliga title remaining, and I'm not really showing them off if they can definitely obtain the trophy of the ucl, but currently in the Bundesliga they are the favorites of winning the title.

Leverkusen should not let Xabi Alonso leave because if they do, he will undoubtedly have an impact on the club if they do not find a suitable replacement. Because I've noticed that after Sporting left Amorim and moved to Manchester United, they began to lose points in the league competition. Boniface always shows up for Leverkusen when they need him on the pitch, what a great effort from him in helping the club advance to the next round.

I would say that this yesterday what we have seen , was the Leverkusen from last year as they never give up and scored goals in the last minutes or seconds.
But on the other hand Cologne was really playing very good and was fighting , saddly for them that the luck was not on there side this time.
Leverkuse had a few more chances in the regular playing time to score some goals , it was a nice game to watch.

There is no denying that Bayern Munich is the richest and strongest team in the Bundesliga. But an interesting thing is that Bayern Munich has not won any of their last 5 matches against Leverkusen. In 3 matches, we have seen Leverkusen win and two matches have been drawn. Moreover, although Leverkusen drew the last match against Bayern Munich, in this match too, Leverkusen's performance was poor compared to Munich. So I agree with you that this match may be a draw or Leverkusen will win.

An exciting match for the quarter-finals. I initially thought Leverkusen would win easily, but in reality, they almost lost. In terms of the level of play shown by Leverkusen, they should be above their opponents. But this is football where sometimes easy opponents become quite difficult to beat.
After this Leverkusen must show a stronger game, especially since they will also face Munich who are currently at the top of the standings. It might be a difficult match, but if they are in good form, they will get good results.

Leverkusen has shown a very good performance although not as good as last season, but they are still one of the title contenders this season despite being 6 points behind Munich at the top of the standings, the match later will be a crucial match for leverkusen,because as you said, wolfsburg is not a team that should be underestimated this season even in previous matches they can make some of the teams above them lose points both at home and away, but apart from all that, I personally am also more dominant in believing that leverkusen will be able to win the match, although it may be difficult and also get tight resistance from wolfsburg in the match later.

Somehow, in this match Leverkusen almost lost, but they did not give up so that in the final minutes of the match they were able to create a goal that could make the score equal and the match continued to extra time.
Indeed, seeing the game shown by Leverkusen, they deserved to get this victory regardless of their efforts throughout the match. I can even say they should have won the match in normal time.
After taking the lead, Koln tried to maintain their advantage and actually they were almost able to do that. However, Leverkusen's efforts paid off in extra time which allowed them to avoid defeat.

The comparison between the two teams is equally strong in game strategy, of course many people are waiting for the big German league team to play. Bayern Munich is currently the favorite in the statistics while Leverkusen will play at home so there are more opportunities that can be taken, in the last few matches Bayern Munich has achieved satisfactory results. I am sure this match will be very exciting and will end in a draw because Bayern Munich cannot be beaten even if they come as guests.

Bayer Leverkusen extended the match with a goal scored by Patrick Schick in the extra time. Then they scored a goal by Boniface in the extra time and advanced to the next round. It was a tough match for them and they were tired but they managed to advance from the quarter finals to the next level. Maybe Stuttgart will make it hard for them but when we look at the remaining teams, Bayer Leverkusen is probably the strongest candidate to win the championship. Considering that Bayern Munich was eliminated in the previous rounds, I can say that they are the only candidate for the German Cup right now.

It hurts their record and performance if they lose 2 matches which makes a lot of difference in their points and position which can make them weak. These two are strong teams and every team thinks that we will lose the match against them.  Every team has its own way of thinking and plays in its own way, that's why Bayern Munich is ahead of Leverkusen and is stronger.  If Leverkusen's next matches are easy, Leverkusen can win a few matches and catch up with Bayern Munich, but as far as I'm concerned, Leverkusen has little chance to overtake Bayern Munich. if Bayern Munich lose the match, it is not a big problem. If Leverkusen plays well in their next 10 matches and wins the match, it will easily strengthen itself by surpassing Bayern Munich, which will make it difficult for Bayern Munich.

I am different again, because I see their chances are 50 to 50. I think this is a comparison that I believe more considering that both have the same ability to beat each other.
Leverkusen is advantaged because they will play as hosts, while Bayern Munich has a better statistical record than the hosts, so this match should be balanced with both having their respective advantages.
More than that, I want to see the match between these two clubs can be very entertaining, I make sure I will watch this match.

Of course, we wish that every measure can ensure the best outcomes for the team. The ability to ensure that consistency is maintained in terms of the organisers keenness in maintaining the rhythm of the game will be one of the recipe for positive results. That means it is valuable to face quality opponents and that is right but the body and the mind must be ready for it still we believe that the effort that has being channelled will produce a decent outcome.
