Champions League football is always different, and Dortmund as a team that is not consistent this season are very lucky to make it to the Champions League final; although since their first leg match against PSG, I knew that they still had a chance because of various disappointments PSG has given their fans in the past. Its very hard to get back from the second german league into the first german league , there are so many teams that trying this now for years.

It matter, the outcome of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich actually favour the team Anceloti and they will be going to final to meet with Dortmund on the first of June, I'm not sure if there is any tricks Dortmund are yet to display in this Champions League but Real Madrid that I know have some kind of luck and it never finished. The UCL final is on 1st June. The last Bundesliga game is on 18th May, so they'll have over 2 weeks to rest. No need to "protect" their key players, in fact, they should utilise their strongest squad in the games to come to make sure they don't get too rusty from having too long break.

Sometimes, teams are not able to get the same good results in the domestic league as they get in the Champions League or in the European League. In my opinion, Borussia Dortmund is not serious about competing, because they always prioritize business over trophies. If they want to then they really can as long as they don't always sell the talented players they have.

All of top five teams in the Bundesliga have secured a ticket for the Champions League. Dortmund are really lucky though.
