Leverkusen still hasn't found their best form at the moment and I think it has nothing to do with their transfer activity last summer, because indeed the majority of the squad owned by Leverkusen today is the same squad when they won the Bundesliga last season because indeed Leverkusen did not sell any of their main players in the transfer market.
Maybe Leverkusen slowed down at the beginning and picked up speed in the second half of the season. I think that's in line with their current situation with points not far from the top ranked Bundesliga teams. As long as their performance doesn't decline or they can defend well, there's no way they can't pick up speed to compete for the title at the end of the season.
My other guess is that when the transfer market reopens, they can add strength by bringing in some ammunition to strengthen what I said.

It seems both Bayern Munich and England national teams should be worried about their superstar player Harry Kane. Kane was one the most expensive players for Bayern Munich and they were trying so far to ask Tottenham to accept the offer and let Kane join Bayern Munich while they also paid too much money for this player and he had a good performance since he joined Bayern Munich. Even he is effective enough to say without Kane they can't have good performances and score goals like when they have this player on the team.
In the game between Greece and England was out and maybe this can be the reason so say he is still not ready and injured.
Kane got injured in the game against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Kane is still in recovery phase now. Because of not being fully ready yet, Lee Carsley didn't want to risk him. Otherwise he could have been in trouble if Kane's situation got more serious.  Tongue

I can't find any certain date for his return but considering his current condition it seems very soon. He is very important for Bayern Munich's success as usual. He has had a ten-goal contribution in the league so far. It means the half of the amount the team have scored which is very crucial.  Smiley  I hope Kane stays healthy most of the season and wins a title finally. I know it isn't an easy work to do in such a busy schedule but it is quite possible.

Leipzig is actually a very successful team. They have consistently finished in the top four in the Bundesliga for the last six seasons. They have reached the semifinals of the European cups twice. To do this in such a short time shows that the team is well managed. However, Leipzig has a problem that will prevent the continuity of success. What is the problem? The problem is the commercial mentality of the team's billionaire owner Red Bull. Because Leipzig produces and sells star players. It's a good strategy, but it also prevents the creation of an effective team. The most important feature that distinguishes this team from other German clubs is that it is a corporate team. Even though it will gain a certain fan base over time, it will still not reach the masses that teams like Bayern and Dortmund appeal to.

Leipzig was my candidate for the Bundesliga title this season, but with consecutive draws against Union Berlin and St Pauli, the title became a dream. They have a great squad but obviously not enough to open up teams that play closed football.
I agree that Leipzig is successful team because they consistently finish high in league and do well in European competitions. Well their business like approach led by Red Bull wealthy owner hurts their chances of long term success. Constantly buying and selling top players disrupts team unity. Leipzig corporate style also limits their fan base. They are different from traditional German teams like Bayern and Dortmund. Even with talented team Leipzig struggles against teams that play defense focused football. Recent ties against Union Berlin and St. Pauli have ended their title dreams. Leipzig strategy of buying and selling players makes money but focusing on short term gains instead of lasting success holds them back.

I am also like you I often missed the chance to win in Leipzig but we also have to see Leipzig is not a big club and they also do not have many quality players so I think putting hope in them is difficult even though sometimes they score a lot of goals and in the next game they do nothing like when against St. Pauli they drew and I think it is not fair how they drew with a promoted team that is easier for them to beat but the result was a draw and I think putting hope in them is wrong and until now I can not trust them anymore and I think Leipzig is not a strong team they are just an ordinary team.
Leipzig is not a big team but the team is one of the popular teams in the Bundesliga. Regarding the draw against the promoted team yesterday, I think it is very normal and often happens to top teams. But the fact is that Leipzig did not lose points and remained undefeated. With this result, we cannot judge that Leipzig is not a big team just because they drew with a weak team, but we also have to understand that a match and surprises can always happen. It is indeed very disappointing and I even lost a bet, but I understand conditions like this more and what is certain is that we must still believe that the competition in the bundesliga this season is very competitive and a team like Leipzig can make it difficult for Bayern Munich to win the title.

I would definitely blame Bayan Munich's defense position for the draw because if they could have performed a bit better, Bayan Munich might have had three points in this match. Points cannot be lost like this, if they don't perform as planned in the upcoming matches, they may regret it at the end of the season.
That is the problem with Bayern Munich right now, their defense is starting to become fragile, unlike at the beginning of the season. The draw against Frankfurt proved that Kompany really needs to improve his team's defense. Things will be difficult in the future. They could regret it at the end of the season, the competition in the Bundesliga is getting tighter with the arrival of new competitors. We see the standings of Frankfurt, Freiburg, Leipzig, Union Berlin showing the competition, if they remain consistent, it is not impossible that at the end of the season there will be a surprise.
We saw Bayern Munich sell a key defender to Manchester United earlier in the season, and seeing them sell a defender seems like they may be overconfident in their defensive positions. But what happened to their confidence, with the confidence they sold an important defender to Manchester United, now they have to worry about the defense position the most. Bayern Munich are able to score goals against a relatively weak team with good midfield and attacking positions. By a good team we mean that there will be no weakness anywhere in the team but currently Bayern Munich has a clear weakness in the defense position. Until Bayern Munich work on this weakness and they can recruit a good one, their dream of winning a major tournament title will remain a dream.

That's right, if Leipzig can maintain their good performance, it is very possible that they will make it difficult for Bayern Munchen in the future. Now Leipzig is one of two clubs that are still undefeated, their strength will certainly be taken into account by all Bundesliga contestants. It is possible that Leipzig will compete tightly for the trophy with Bayern Munchen and Leverkusen until the end of the season, although personally I hope Dortmund can also join in the competition.
So far, Leipzig can stay in the top 2 with the same points as Bayern Munich. Yes, they are still undefeated, they only got 2 draws. The point gaps between the top 6 teams are not very massive, I think those top 6 teams still have the chance to win the trophy. Which team can play more consistently, they will have more chance to win the trophy. Regarding Dortmund, they may have the chance to join the race of the title again if they can keep winning in the next few matches.

On the other hand, it seems that Leipzig is not able to show the same performance in the Champions League, they have lost to Atletico Madrid and Juventus before.
We can't compare the performance in Bundesliga and UCL. In UCL, the match is more difficult because the participants are strong teams in each top league in Europe. If Leipzig got a defeat, it is not something very surprising.  Grin

..... so, he will really be absent during the important match against Real Madrid in the UCL.
Both of them are experiencing injury problems to their mainstay players so it is not yet a serious problem for Dortmund even though Dortmund plays against Real Madrid without Karim Adeyemi but it is not easy for Dortmund to beat Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu at least they can hold Real Madrid to a draw considering their good performance lately but what is clear is that their match will be very fierce like watching last season's Champions League final Real Madrid also just lost points in the previous match so they most likely do not want to lose points again.
Yes, especially since they will play away, of course this will also be a pressure for the club. This is like repeating the UCL final last season, where Real Madrid became the winner of the match. Will this be the same result? It's just that Dortmund can sometimes be really optimal when competing against top clubs. Real Madrid must remain vigilant even though on paper, Real Madrid might be able to win. Previously, Real Madrid lost against Lile, and this time, they must win against Dortmund.

Frankfurt have been doing quiet well this season, i just hope its nit another game for Leverkusen to draw again because that has been the results they have been getting in the past few games and Frankfurt isn't looking like an easy team, they may likely pose some challenge to Leverkusen as Leverkusen doesn't look really stable enough to handle situations just fine to the point of having easy wins recently.
This is an important match for Leverkusen. At this time they are only in 5th rank, if they lose or only get 1 point, then it is possible that they will be replaced by Berlin and Dortmund. This time Xabi must be more vigilant to be able to get the full 3 points, although this will certainly be difficult.

Next next week we will watch the match between Frankfurt vs Leverkusen which I think is a match that is quite interesting to me, Leverkusen will be the host in this match, and I am quite curious about the results because from several previous matches as we saw that Frankfurt managed to make a draw when playing against Bayern Munich and so did Leverkusen who had the same result when playing against Bayern Munich, and if only in this match Frankfurt managed to go home with full points then I think this is a strong competitor team this season which will most likely also make the competition at the end of the season more difficult for Bayern Munich and Leverkusen. Previously Leverkusen managed to hold Bayern Munich to a draw when they played at the Allianz Arena, and with that I think it shouldn't be too difficult for Leverkusen to get full points in the match against Frankfurt at home.

The home advantage Leverkusen will be enjoying in this game is one thing that i will want to bank on to hoping they will be able to get a better result away from that which they had in their last three matches in their domestic league this season. Bayern may get their fair share of the threat Frankfurt may pose this season.

We know that every team will try their best to go further in European competition, but it seems that Leipzig cannot do much there, their best chance is in domestic competition.

Frankfurt's confidence is currently quite good, especially with very good results in the previous week where they managed to hold Bayern's draw, of course this provides considerable motivation so that they can still maintain consistency in the match after the international break.

But indeed for this match it will certainly be a little more difficult, where Leverkusen, who certainly want full points in the match, will of course exert their strength in order to realize it, especially with some results that are not very good in their last few matches, of course this must be used as an opportunity for 3 points when playing home.

This will be a difficult match to predict but in this match the bookie will definitely be in Leverkusen because after all playing home it will provide its own opportunities for Leverkusen so the bookie will prefer to make them a favorite,

The match between Leverkusen and Frankfurt is going to be a tough one from my observations, based on both teams' current performances. It seems that these two teams' performances are at the same level. Frankfurt has been doing very well, and I am expecting much from them against Leverkusen next week. From their current performances compared to Leverkusen, I can't say that Leverkusen will be able to win against Frankfurt easily. In fact, in this upcoming match, each team has a good chance of winning.

However, the reason I would currently give Leverkusen the edge is because they will be hosting the match. That said, I can't confidently say Leverkusen has more than a 60% chance of winning based on their current statistics, so there is no strong assurance that they will win. We all saw how Frankfurt played against Bayern Munich, but let's see what will happen, as football is sometimes unpredictable. Drawing with Bayern Munich doesn't mean that Leverkusen may not have the luck to win, and the same is applicable to Frankfurt.

It can be said that it is not a big team, but they have grown much better in a few seasons and they can get to this position it is much more extraordinary and I think they will be a big team one day, with the potential as it is now it is the seed to be able to become a big team, there are no star players and there are no players of very high quality not to be used as an excuse to form a very high quality team, they will build the quality of their own players.

The Leipzig squad is actually not a bad squad. They showed us how good they are in the Bayer Leverkusen match. Their current ranking is certainly very good, but whether they can stay in these rankings until the end of the season will show us how high-quality the team will be. We all remember Bayer Leverkusen's amazing performance last year. Why shouldn't Leipzig show a similar performance this year? The German league should always be a league open to surprises. Nobody likes a league dominated by a single team.
As far as I know from the 2018-2019 season until now Leipzig has never been absent as the top 5 of the bundes league standings, and that shows that they are very consistent and every season they experience quite good growth as the competition develops, so it can be said that Leipzig is able to survive and it will be very possible one day to become a very strong team in the Bundes league, they only need time and some potential players born from the womb to make Leipzig a very strong team.

True, although basically Leipzig always failed to secure or seize the title from Bayern Munich in the past few seasons but I think what we have to understand here is that it is not easy to always finish in the top four in the standings in a period of several seasons, meaning they have good consistency in ending the season and of course I also quite agree with you that there is a possibility that one day they will become a top team that is difficult to beat including also becoming the toughest competitor for Bayern Munich, that is very possible when we make their journey of success in maintaining consistency ending several seasons by finishing in a good position.

Bayern Munich and Leverkusen aren't the same team and they don't play the same style of game therefore just that Frankfurt was able to get a draw against Bayern Munich shouldn't make them be able to get a draw against Leverkusen. Have you look at the both statistics, Leverkusen has more chance of winning than drawing. Leverkusen has always had an advantage against Frankfurt and they don't just win but outscore then too. In their last meeting, Leverkusen has scored 3 or more goals and after the international break that this game is going to be played, I think Leverkusen would want to start off on a good note and they'll come all out to play thie game to win.
Of course, Bayern Munich and Leverkusen have their own game style. Although Frankfurt could get a draw result again Bayern Munich, it doesn't mean they will get a draw against Leverkusen as well. There are many factors that Leverkusen look unlikely to share points with Frankfurt. One of the factors that the match will be held in Leverkusen home and 3 points is very crucial for Leverkusen. Leverkusen must struggle all out to get full points because they want to shorten the point gap with Bayern Munich. Also, if Leverkusen misses 3 points again, they are getting far from UCL zone and may have no chance to win the trophy anymore. In addition, Bayer Leverkusen won with big scores in the latest match against Frankfurt. Leverkusen knows well hot to deal with Frankfurt.

Knowing well that Bayer Leverkusen is not to be underestimated, especially when playing a home game, is enough reason to say that, they will win the game against Frankfurt after the break. Because you can’t compare their performance with that of Bayern Munich. Frankfurt having a draw with Bayern Munich doesn’t means they are strong. Because, if you could view Bayern Munich performance then you will discover that they are struggling with their defense, which is a different narrative to bayer Leverkusen. So to me, I also support you with the fact that bayer Leverkusen will win the game they have on 19th of the month against Frankfurt.

I agreed with you, any team can drew or lose to any team whether the team is in form or not, they drew their game against a small team club yes, what about some big teams that surprisingly lose to small team clubs, that doesn't make the team lose form, Leipzig is still in form and I bet on their head.

For now, Bayern Munich are going more consistently this season, but they are well aware that they will fall behind in the rankings with a single mistake for first place and they do not want to anger their fans. Bayern Leverkusen will host Bayern Leverkusen in the Bayern Leverkusen and Frankfurt match, they need to use this to the fullest.

Xabi Alanso, who was the champion last season, and his players are the same this year and they are eager. Frankfurt achieved good results in their last matches, they will face Bayern Leverkusen with this morale, it is a very difficult match to predict.

Adayemi being injured, or even when he comes back not being 100% has hurt Dortmund a lot, they could have used him and be a lot better by now, but they failed. Also, Sancho was at Dortmund too, and he went back to United because his loan ended, Dortmund tried to get him for good, but Chelsea got him for loan this season as well, like they don't have enough players lol.

If Dortmund had a healthy Adayemi and also Sancho back, they would have been near the top or maybe at the top this season. They had to revise their situation and get other players and try to do with whatever they have, which isn't a simple thing but they are doing it and they should be happy about it as well because they are not getting terrible results. They could still turn this around and we could see Dortmund be in top four once again, like they almost always do, they need to find a way to grow and get better results and have a period where they try to win the league again, don't stop trying.
