I stand with Palestine.
Bayer Leverkusen have had an underwhelming start to the 2024/25 Bundesliga campaign, and it's a sign that they're going to struggle this season. I know no team can stay undefeated forever, but I think Bayer Leverkusen's way of playing is problematic. If they do not quickly regain their form and improve their weaknesses, Leverkusen will find it difficult to defend their "throne" in Germany against the return of Bayern Munich. Besides Bayern vs Leverkusen, Dortmund vs RB Leipzig are also qualified to compete for the Bundesliga championship. Therefore, this year's season will be very interesting.
However, the fact that Bayer Leverkusen's leadership succeeded in retaining "chief architect" Xabi Alonso, as well as not losing any stars in the main squad, is the basis for fans of this team to hope to defend the Bundesliga championship.
I agree Bayer Leverkusen slow start to season is worrying but I don't think they are out of running yet. Their way of playing has some problems but they have good team and smart coach Xabi Alonso. It is good that they kept Alonso and their best players. But they need to fix their weaknesses fast to keep up with strong teams like Bayern Munich and others. Bundesliga is always tough and this season will be very exciting. Leverkusen fans have reason to be hopeful but team needs to play better to keep their title. It is too early to give up on them but they need to improve soon.

It is so funny to see how things doesn't last forever, look at Leverkusen who won the league unbeaten have gotten their first defeat since last season till the season by Leipzig. This shows that they might not be able to defend the title and a different club might win the league this season. If it happens so, it means that Bundesliga is becoming unpredictable.

Leverkusen has a lot of challenges this season because they will be playing in UCL which might be a distraction to them from staying focus on winning Bundesliga this season.
Defending the record or champion status will be always harder. I think it is not a funny thing, it is something normal. There should be some changes in Leverkusen and other teams in Bundesliga. Moreover, it is Leipzig, it is one of strong teams in Bundesliga. But what makes it interesting that Leverkusen got a defeat at their own stadium. It must be a severe lose although it won't determine how the performance of Leverkusen in the next matches. Fans and Leverkusen management must expect to get full points at home, sadly Leverkusen got a defeat for the first time in this season. However, the chance to win Bundesliga is still very open for Leverkusen, there are still too many matches left.

Yes, Leverkusen has many challenges. They are demanded to defend their champion status. They are also expected to perform well in UCL. Xabi Alonso should have prepared anything for Leverkusen. But it may not be easy for Leverkusen, especially playing in UCL. The level of UCL is above UEL, Leverkusen will face many strong teams there. I personally don't expect much on Leverkusen, it is great if they can reach semi-final. I don't see a chance that they will play in UCL final.

I'm sure you weren't expecting Bayer Leverkusen to finish this season's Bundesliga campaign without conceding a defeat just because they achieved that feat last season.
There was never a chance that Leverkusen was going to still maintain the same record of staying unbeaten this season long, but they can try to not loose so much but only a few losses that way they will not really be taken out of the title race by the end of the season aor ruined their chances of still maintaining the title. I'm seeing that if the pressure is maintained, or possible they may not get the trophy again this season but xavi has got a very sound team and all that he needs to win this trophy so I don't expect him to be challenged so much to the point he loses out in the title race by the end of the season because he definitely has what it takes to secure the trophy again in Germany.

When we talk about Bayern Leverkusen success last season, it involved a lot of things such as team work, determination and focus.
when a team has this major three things coupled with few other things, They literally will achieve anything achievable when it comes to football.

The season just got started, despite the fact that they've lost a game that doesn't determine how their season would end , they have lost some points just at the beginning of the season, but if they have focused, they will most likely bounce back stronger and possibly lifting some trophies this very season.

I knew that it will be difficult for Bayern Leverkusen to defend the title because luck played important role in their success last season. Check their last year's matches and see that most of their game changing goals were scored at the dying minutes of the game which can only be regarded as luck and nothing else. Unfortunately, they are not a reservoir of luck so one should not expect them to be that lucky this season. I am expecting Bayern Munic to reclaim their spot in the German Bundesliga but that will not come easy because they have to fight the defending champion as well as Borussia Dortmund who are also prepared and aiming for the title this season.

Leverkusen has a lot of challenges this season because they will be playing in UCL which might be a distraction to them from staying focus on winning Bundesliga this season.
I will not use this as excuse because they were in the Europa cup last season yet they were able to maintain that enviable record. We have seen that Xabi Alanso is an excellent manager when it comes to utilizing players for both domestic and external matches so this factor of UCL is not a major one for me.

I prefer a more intense competition in each season where other teams take turns in the fight for the championship title. Bayern Munich has dominated itself for a long time as a team that has won consecutive championship titles and last season Leverkusen was able to break it. However, this season it seems that Leverkusen will find it quite difficult to compete with Bayern Munich, so from here we hope that other teams can take advantage of this opportunity to compete for the championship title.

Dortmund is the team we want to look forward to becoming champions this season. The team's performance situation at the beginning of the season is not certain that they will be able to maintain their good performance until the end of the season. But yes, every season there is always fiercer competition and we want to see other teams win the title this season, be it Dortmund or Leipzig.

Last season, Bayern Leverkusen achieved a great feat after participating in the Bundesliga and winning the trophy. They also played in the Europa League and made it to the finals of the competition. The champions league they’ll be playing in this year won’t be a distraction to them but should be an encourager for them to fight for the best in this season. Getting their first defeat of the season should not make them feel bad and think that this season will not go well for them as it has for the previous season before this, they can still try and win the Bundesliga this season because they still have a lot of games to play and a lot of chances to get out of the matches they’ll play before reaching the end of the season. A defeat to Leipzig is not the end, they can still be a league contender.

Of course, experiencing defeat at the beginning of the season I think is not a serious problem, and I am sure that it will not deter the Leverkusen squad, especially Xabi Alonso, they know that the journey is still long where there are still many opportunities that they can take advantage of in the next few matches to gradually climb to the top.
I see that from the defeat experienced by Leverkusen when playing against Leipzig yesterday, quite a lot of fans are pessimistic, even though I think it can still be said to be reasonable, because of course most of the teams in the Bundesliga, especially those who were in tight competition in the top five standings last season, must have made improvements so that this season they can appear more fierce and maybe one of them is Leipzig.
The point is I am sure that this is not a big problem for Leverkusen, as you said that the beginning is not the end, and I would say that the road is still wide open for Leverkusen.

Everybody knew that Leverkusen's success last season was something exceptional and nobody expected them to perform equally well this season. If you looked at the outright odds for winning Bundesliga either before the season started or currently, you would see that it was not Bayer, but Bayern who was the favourite all along.
So, if anything, Leverkusen successfully defending the title would be more unpredictable than them losing the title to Bayern.

Stuttgart is always a very interesting side to watch. They come with surprising talents and rarely stay consistent with the excitement. But in all fairness to them, they are always a very well-managed side.  They have a great coach in Sebastian Hoeneß, their squad is great and they always refresh their squad with newer talents.
Actually, this reason is too far-fetched and exaggerated in my opinion because looking at the current conditions, some of the reasons said that Stutgart can be troublesome seem too forced, such as when talking about coaches and smart recruits.
Even when talking about recruits I think VfB is now facing a problem where their caliber player Serhou Guirassy who went to Dortmund is a decision that is not too right for VfB because indirectly this will make them a little impact on their goal productivity.
Especially with the current conditions where they are one of the debutant clubs again after so long not being in the big league like the Champions League.
I hope they don't become Union Berlin last season because it would be a shame if what happened to Union Berlin last season is again received by Vfb this season just because they can't concentrate because of a busy schedule that makes performance in all competitions destroyed.

As long as Xabi keeps playing with the system that already worked so far, he is going to get good results and nothing will change much. I know that it may not look like that with just one loss but that's just one loss, in fact it's their first loss in nearly forty games of Bundesliga, we should be more forgiving against that, plus it wasn't like some relegation level team, it was Leipzig and shit happens, we shouldn't really make a comment on what's going to happen with just one game.

Humans quickly forget the many times you’ve been excelling and blame you for failing to excel for the first time, that’s the same that happened to Bayern Leverkusen after losing to RB Leipzig in their last match. It’s just one game and nothing has changed, they may have just moved down from the rankings in the standings but that doesn’t mean they will be worse than last season and won’t stand a chance to win the Bundesliga title as they did last season. The league is still open, anything can happen from now till the 38th match when the league will come to an end by that time.

Quote
I am not saying Leverkusen will win the league title again, maybe they will or maybe they won't we can't know that, but if they win it then we can say one game didn't matter that much, and if they lose it, it won't be because of just one single game, they would have to lose even more.

Just by losing one game is far from you not winning the title because of that reason. But your cumulative losses in the league will amount to how well you can win the league title that season or not. With only one game loss, we may even see them on the same level for now with the team topping the league. It is okay because they both have many matches to play before they can finally assume the position everyone is sitting to some extent in the league before any reshuffle or replacement will happen according to their performance in the league.

There is no doubt, Alonso is a good coach, he set a record in the Bundesliga that will be hard to brake, he is also very young which means his coaching career can still go further because I am very sure if Anceloti will be leaving Madrid, they will contact Alonso to offer him the job.

Remember, Leverkusen performance was not as it used to be towards the last season, they hardly win matches because their pattern of football was noticed towards the end of the season which is why they find it hard to even get a draw at the end, but they are very lucky and complete the last season’s Bundesliga matches undefeated. But it might not be possible this season.

They look like a team that can win League this season. I am not understanding them this time, but their lack signing during the transfer summer will deeply affect the team because they don’t have squad depth and the competitions are much because they are playing in the Champions League again this season.

Finally, Borrussia Dortmund is that club I would love to see challenge for the Bundesliga League Competition this season seriously. My first choice would still be Bayern Leverkusen. As much as I want to see them win it back to back, I wouldn't mind seeing Borrussia Dortmund fight to win the Bundesliga League Competition thus time around. They have always cime second runners up season after season, it was also disappointing to see that they couldn't get the chance to win it when they was close three seasons back. If Bayern Leverkusen can do that what they dis last season, then other clubs can do just the same if they're consistent and discipline finally. It'll be a long and tougher Bundesliga League Competition ahead. I don't know about the level of football, I can't say too much but they're very good clubs with high technicality.

You're right. Well, I remember that two seasons ago the Germans were complaining about their league, which they said was very boring, They saw that Bayern was dominant and that they didn't have much competition. However, things are as you say, Dortmund is a team that has always shown a lot. I remember the Dortmund era when Klopp was coaching them and Lewa was there. Wow, that was another level, very good. I think things can change now because Dortmund is hungrier to win. They won't care about the trajectory of Bayern or Leverkusen I see them focused.

Liverpool legend Jurgen Klopp has been spotted wearing a Borussia Dortmund kit for the first time since leaving the Bundesliga giant in 2015 with the German set to take on a new role this weekend.

Klopp is set to be on the touchline for a farewell match for two of his former players, Lukasz Piszczek and Jakub Blaszczykowski. After his Anfield exit freed up some time in his schedule, Klopp was able to get involved and will be present for the event.

Today, he took part in a training session with the Dortmund players who are set to play in the match, which has been organized during the international break. Klopp and his assistant, Peter Krawietz, were both there.

Although there have been such complaints before about Bayern Munich dominating the Bundesliga so much, but the truth is that I'm not really sure. Because anyway, when Bayer Leverkusen managed to get the Bundesliga trophy but after that, many predictions expected or predicted Bayern Munich would be able to win the Bundesliga trophy again. That means, there are still many who expect Bayern Munich to dominate the Bundesliga again and I think that is also not a problem because that way, of course, it will be a trigger for other teams to really have a very good effort to thwart Bayern Munich's dominance like Bayer Leverkusen did last season.

But indeed, about Dortmund basically I also have high hopes for Dortmund to be able to successfully win the Bundesliga trophy. My reason is, Dortmund always managed to have great players but they did not hesitate to sell them and for reasons like that, then I hope and still have confidence in Dortmund being able to win the Bundesliga trophy. Because after all, basically Dortmund have good quality to compete strongly in the title race and yes, hopefully Dortmund will really succeed this season.

Bayern Leverkusen is a very strong club in the Bundesliga and that was well proven by their performance of last season which earn them the Bundesliga title and went as far as the Europa League finals but unfortunately they lost to Atalanta. They are still amongst the team that has the ability to win the Bundesliga title this season despite losing of the crucial matches of the season against RB Leipzig. The season may just have started but even though, they are still one of the best in the league and will fight for the league title to the end just like they’ve always done. The Bundesliga has now become a very competitive league in Europe, everyone is now at their best to win the title or rather finish in the top level to get a qualification to an European championship. So Bayern Leverkusen may not find this season easy as it has always been for them.
They did very well last season because their achievements are very unique and Alonso helped the team to bring back glory into the team; wining the Bundesliga title for the team after several years is a good achievement and this has made the team more successful last season as they are the best team in the Bundesliga last season since they outshined both Bayern Munich and Dortmond.

This season, their performance is going backwards, they didn’t sign any new player this season because they have confidence in there players, and they have started to lose games which means they have already lost the glory they had last season. I don’t think they can win the Bundesliga title this season because Bayern Munich is fully prepared for a better season and Vincent Kompany will do better this season.

The season before last, Stuttgart was close to relegation from the Bundesliga, and before betting on them I would think more about this than about the fact that they were successful last season. Union Berlin also flew high and then fell low the following season. High volatility is the norm for non-top clubs. In the case of Stuttgart, the easiest bets in my opinion are BTTS and Total over. I have also already managed to make several unsuccessful bets on favorites (more solid ones like Real), but now it’s the beginning of the season, so surprises are more frequent than expected results, I take this calmly.

Now they had a rough start to the season, and things get difficult when you face Gladbach because they do things which are really unexpected. They make football very fun to watch for sure. I personally won't recommend betting for Stuttgart until they find their sweet spot. The squad right now lacks form, which they hopefully can gain in the coming days.

Out of the 18 amazing teams, they are now 14th, which isn't a good look at all. I hope they deal with their issues in the squad, so they can return to good football at their earliest convenience. There is an international break now, which they can use to get the best out of players, also players who are specifically struggling in some situations can recover and see better days on the pitch.

Read all of the 5 reasons here---> Bundesliga Official

It's a funny list of reasons, because Real Madrid have a lot more upside in every single one of those. Of the successes of German teams, for some reason I only remember Dortmund's victory (I think in the quarterfinals of the Champions League); in other cases, Real simply destroyed all German clubs, including Bayern.
Overall, it doesn't matter how Stuttgart plays in the Champions League (I don't think they'll make it into the top 8, but they won't be eliminated right away either, so only the playoffs will matter), they need to improve their situation in the Bundesliga - 6 goals conceded in 2 games is a bad sign.

Alonso is not unwilling to bring in the most prominent players in his squad, but he prefers a different approach by utilizing the quality of players evenly in every line to produce compact cooperation and build a relationship of mutual need for each other. Dependence on certain players will disrupt the stability of the team, other players will find it difficult to develop because they have to serve respected players.

Alonso is keen to retain the players who were successful last season and add some new faces as he looks to improve his squad after qualifying for the Champions League. Teamwork must always be maintained as it was done last season, the defeat to Leipzig must be overcome immediately so that the same incident does not happen again in a crucial game.
Exactly my point, bringing in a celebrity player there would give the indigenous players kind of low morale and inferiority complex might set in, thereby promoting the players to start competing for recognition among themselves rather than cooperating and delivering results as a team.

Personally I believe that with more training and motivation, the Leverkusen team would still deliver like last season and by the end of this season, the players would've developed more confidence to incorporate a new player of any worth. Bringing in a player it's good to be done during preseason in such a team of young players to enable them blend in before season sets in properly.

Now this made to worry about the performance of Bayern Munich in the Champions League during this season. As we know Bayern Munich was always the first power in Germany and since they usually won the title in the Bundesliga they usually focused on having a better performance in the Champions League and now since Bayern Munich doesn't have a good situation in the Bundesliga I think we can't expect to see any good performance from this team in the Champions League and instead of Bayern Munich, I think we can start thinking about Leverkusen and their possible performance in this tournament during this season.
