One of the best signings of BVB is back to the training ground after missing out for a long time due to crucial condition. Sebastian Haller is back to training with Dortmund after suffering from testicles tumor. It was one of the difficult phase for the Ivory coast international who was at his best peak. But the good news to see him come back strong with agile energy put in more training section. Borussia Dortmund have the basic necessities to accommodate the confident striker. The club sitting at 6th position on the league table with 8W 1D 6L, such a poor start from the players this season.
That's a good news for the team after selling Haaland and losing the service of their new signing few days after his arrival due to a tumor unfortunately. Haller will definitely help the team to improve its ranking but this will require some time since he didn't play for several months. Not sure if he can start in the next round or not.
His comeback meant nothing for sure. Dortmund will be losing more players. Jude bellingham and moukoko will not continue its career in the dortmund. I thought that the position of dortmund will always be the same. Dortmund is much more focusing to selling the players rather than try to win the trophy. I think that dortmund didn't care so much about that as long as it can still develop the new players and dortmund will not be trying so hard to win the trophy.
That's why bayern was always dominating the league since a long time ago. Bayern have so many competitors that have business oriented

I'm not bluffing, I didn't just wished him to recover well fast and fine, I did prayed for him like we are related by chance and I feel very happy he is back to training kicking and going forward.
He was Influential at Ajax scoring the highest Champions League goals last season but still didn't go that far.

So he'll finally be a big weapon against Chelsea when they face former Champions League Dortmund.

Yann Sommer from Borussia Mönchengladbach maybe join Bayern Munich in a few days. Y.Sommer has asked his club for the transfer. The good thing is that his contract expires in 6 months and if Gladbach sell him now, they can still earn money. Bayern give him an offer for 2.5 years until 2025 and another substitute goalkeeper is probably too expensive at the moment. I think Bayern will keep looking even if Y.Sommer comes.

That actually really is probably the best news for the club and also for the fans of Borussia Dortmund in the last few months or so. I was very impressed by the performances of Sebastian Haller when he still played for Eintracht Frankfurt and i also thought that this was a great signing by Borussia Dortmund. In the last few weeks of the first half of this season Dortmund showed some very bad performances and overall i think that it is totally deserved, that they are only on position 6 of the Bundesliga table at the moment. They could even have at least 6 points less or so because they had some pretty lucky wins.
With Haller i think they could be able to play better and more successful again.

Given how the oil clubs have inflated the transfer fees of players (and their salaries) for all clubs that are not top clubs, this business model remains the only possible one. I am surprised that UEFA does not introduce a salary cap and other restrictive measures that would slow down the gap between the top clubs and the rest. Instead, they come up with an FFP that doesn't work. But what else can you expect from corrupt officials. I think that something serious will be discussed only after some major bankruptcy (for example, Barcelona).
The sad part is that other clubs are not taking advantage of this. If the oil clubs are making this a huge thing, and spending insane amount of money, just sell your players for high price and do not spend high amount of money for players. Like even though they are not an oil club, Real just spent 60-70 million on some 16 year old kid, does that even make sense to you?

I believe that teams that are not rich at all should take the money from oil clubs by selling them players for super high amount of money, and then use that money to build a young team and keep repeating that, when the time comes they will be all great because they made profit from oil clubs to begin with.

They lost two best players in two seasons, Sancho to Manchester United and Haaland to Manchester City. Marco Reus got an injury and missed most of first part of season. Only Jude Bellingham is not enough for Dortmund. Moukoko is still a very young player and he needs more time.

It causes problems to Dortmund and affects their performance in Bundesliga. Their problems expand to their defense too with an old defender Hummels. This season can be a failed one for Dortmund because of their problems which are supported by sudden good performances of other clubs. Dortmund will have to play with their best to get a fourth position in Bundesliga at least.

Any position lower than the fourth position will be terrible for Dortmund. They will be separated into pieces and star players including Jude will leave.
It's no wonder that Dortmund are not in good shape this season, but they are a club that can produce football stars, some of their star players after going to other clubs quickly become quite productive players like Haaland. well this season Dortmund may need a transition in returning to their best form and I'm sure they will close this season in the top 4. Week 16 of the Bundesliga hasn't started yet and there's still time for each team to make good changes in their game before they face their opponents again in Week 16.

Things are a bit more difficult for Schalke, of course. They are at the bottom of the league and will have to work hard to get out of this position. They need to make good player transfers. Staying in the Bundesliga is not easy because many teams are very strong. Schalke, Bochum and Stuttgart are the teams that are in the relegation pot. They must have spent this break mostly getting ready.
Thomas Reis should be able to get Schalke back to winning ways once the league resumes. As you said, Schalke has moved quite quickly in the transfer window where Schalke's management has received an injection of energy from Niklas Tauer, who is on loan from Mainz. And maybe several other players have been targeted by Schalke in this transfer window. in the upcoming match Thomas Reis must be able to make a big difference against Eintracht Frankfurt in order to get an early victory after a long holiday. but seeing the quality of these two teams I am pessimistic that Schalke will be able to steal points when they travel to the Deutsche Bank park headquarters.

I also readed that today and for sure thats very good news for Dortmund and there fans .
If he can make it and gets ready and fit for the second half of the season its possible that he can change the forward playing style for Dortmund.
According from a newspage its also possible that he will be travell into the coming trainings camp in Spain.

tsg hoffenheim has loaned striker Kasper Dolberg from french ligue 1 club ogc nice until the end of the season. the 25-yo dane was most recently on loan at fc sevilla. the loan contract will now be rewritten to the german bundesliga club. his contract at nice runs until 2024, but tsg has secured an option to buy

I think this was a good deal and if he can perform well, they should actually utilize the buying option and get him on the team. I certainly like this deal with the option to buy him as well. But the player has been changing teams quite frequently right now and I hope he will be able to confirm later in his current team where he is going.

Things are a bit more difficult for Schalke, of course. They are at the bottom of the league and will have to work hard to get out of this position.

Schalke in season 22/23 can't compete with other top Bundesliga teams, they are stuck at the bottom of the rankings having only managed to get 9 points so far (out of 15 matches they won 2x - drew 3x - lost 10x). Schalke will face Werder on January 14, in their last meeting, Werder managed to win 2-1 and Schalke have a chance for revenge.

They need to make good player transfers. Staying in the Bundesliga is not easy because many teams are very strong. Schalke, Bochum and Stuttgart are the teams that are in the relegation pot. They must have spent this break mostly getting ready.

Stuttgart - Bochum - Schalke still has a great chance to get away from the relegation zone because they have only played 15 matches out of 34 matches this season, so there are 19 more matches they can fight for. I'm not really sure that the performance of the three (bochum - stuttgart - schalke) will improve for the better, but the competition for the mid-table and bottom of the Bundesliga is very tight.

This is what confirms what elders say that you don't know the value of anything until they lose it, that is what Dortmund are facing right now in Bundesliga since they sold Halland to Manchester City and not that it was a free transfer but some cash facilitated that transaction because he is yet to finish his contract, now they are struggling to maintain what they were trying to seize from Bayern Munich to be the winner of the trophies. It may take a while before the coaches may realise his mistakes and by that time, they would probably be going to the Europa Conference League which other underperforming teams always go to at the end of the season.

We, football fans see this dealings as a worrying issue but I don't think the Dortmund directors or owners see this as a problem because if they do they will not opt to selling out their best set of players in every transfer window and at the moment they are considering selling out Bellingham and Moukoko. This isn't good and it is clearly affecting the performance of the team, because of this current sale of the team's top players they have been unable to compete with Bayern Munich for the league title.

Dortmund spend money in buying big talented player. Dortmund is known for breeding players to make them talented  and sell them to other club for very expensive amount of money.  Not all club ate capable of buying Dortmund players because they are too expensive to afford.
Expensive prices will not be a problem as long as the player's quality and abilities are on par with well-known star players. And if the Dortmund team has no problem continuing to sell expensive players after those players are of good quality, then the team will always do so by buying players at a lower price then selling them at a higher price. Even if Dortmund can do that every season and don't sell quality players, I think Dortmund will always compete at the top with Bayern Munich.
I think there is nothing wrong with Dortmund selling their players at a higher price than buying them, of course the players who play for their club are probably young players who have potential and quality so they can read into the future that the players they get can be worth a high price later. to be honest as long as the player is good it doesn't seem to be a problem for other clubs who want to buy him but it's rare for other clubs to follow in dortmund's footsteps often giving birth to many expensive and great players

Hertha BSC have only scored 18 goals so far. In order to finally score more goals in the second half of the season they have now brought Fabian Reese from Holstein Kiel. Actually he is not supposed to come until next season, but he will probably already be in Berlin for the second half of the season. Kiel would like to have a transfer fee for him as his contract expires in summer. In any case, he would be a reinforcement for Berlin.

Yes, that is right. The teams are very close in terms of points.
I hope the top of the table could be as close as that, the way the season started i thought that we may see another bundesliga champion that is not bayern munich, but sadly they are back on top of the table. Union Berlin were on top for a few weeks, but right now they are 5th, i never thought Union Berlin would win the bundesliga though, the team i expect should be competing with bayern munich is Dortmund, but they are 6th, 9 points behind bayern munich, i think it is over for them. While teams like Freiburg and Leipzig that are a bit close to bayern munich cannot compete with them for the title. I'm sorry, all of us that want a new bundesliga champion are about to be disappointed once again.

In fact, Union Berlin is not a well-established team either in terms of team depth or a club that has very adequate finances. even so, it can be said that when Union Berlin was at the top of the Bundesliga, it was their highest achievement, even though it only lasted a few weeks. even so, their hard work deserves appreciation because they did not come as a team to challenge for a league trophy. in the end, Berlin was unable to hold on to the top of the standings and had to go down the rankings. plus, they have a very busy match schedule.

for Dortmund, this season is a season that is not good for them than the previous season. apart from that Dortmund had some problems before the league started. one of the expected newcomers, having problems due to his illness, namely sabastien Haller. for me, it doesn't matter if it turns out that Bayern Munich still defends its title in this competition. because after all, they deserve and always put in a very interesting game whether in the Bundesliga or the Champions League.

Dortmund wouldn't think of bringing top players into the team of course because it doesn't fit their business model. They would just target to scout and sign skillful young players to make them improve their skills much more and faster there. It has been like this for many years and Haaland is one of the greatest examples. His growing speed was so fast that it didn't take him a long time to find a huge team like Manchester City for himself. Bellingham is indeed another one waiting to be transferred by Real Madrid most probably.

Maybe after selling Bellingham in the summer they can look for a talent like him to maintain this cycle.

Schalke are the only team worse than Bochum in the bundesliga this season, and things are not looking good for the both of them. But the bundesliga this season is so tight, Bochum in 17th position are on 13 points, while Mainz up in 10th position are on 19 points, just 6 points gap, everything is all so close and positions can change very fast, maybe even Bochum has a good chance of escaping relegation.

Yes, that is right. The teams are very close in terms of points. When the first games start again we will see who continues to play against relegation and which teams do not. At the moment it does not look good for Schalke and Bochum. But the long break will certainly help one team more than the other. So I am curious to see who will cope better with the long break.

However Schalke will face a more difficult opponent when the match restarts after this long break and in fact, Schalke will play away against a team in the top four in the standings who have been in good form this season. Playing against Eintracht Frankfurt for Schalke is a match which is of course very difficult compared to the other two relegated teams, and even though for example in this match Schalke is playing at home I'm sure Schalke will still lose.
It doesn't matter how good the changes Schalke has made at the break of the season and in the transfer window at this moment, because Schalke is in a situation and condition that is not doing well.

So yes, I personally feel that the chance for Schalke to get out of the relegation zone is very difficult. Yes indeed, anything can still happen but because Schalke does not have the ability to build a team well and quickly, then I think this is a weakness that Schalke cannot overcome.
But apart from that I also of course still hope that Schalke can change after this break, because based on their points so far compared to the teams who are in the relegation zone we can still assume the gap is not too far.
