I think there is a surprise team every year in the German league. Last season Stuttgart won more points than expected. Heidenheim seems to have had a good season. It is difficult to predict what will happen in the German league next season. For me, the fight between Leverkusen and Bayern makes me curious. I'm sure there will be a similar fight in Dortmund.

Yes, of course thanks to Xabi Alanso who was able to motivate the players and maximize the Leverkusen team players so that they were able to write new history and even Leverkusen broke Bayern Munich's dominance with an unbeaten record in the Bundesliga. Of course, this Bundesliga unbeaten record makes Leverkusean feel satisfied even though they failed in the Europa League.

This satisfaction was also because they were able to win the Bundesliga for the first time and break Bayern Munich's dominance. Satisfied because of the long wait of 120 years for Bayern Leverkusen to win the Bundesliga trophy. I think by winning this they can be the first step to winning again next season and also in the UCL league.

At every season it used to be Dortmund close to contesting but in the end they will have nothing to show for it. But from nowhere Alonso created his own players and did wonders. I seriously respect that personality and I also believe that other lovers of football will respect him also.

Bayern Leverkusen have broken the title winning streak of Bayern Munich and this is a very big congratulations to them to have come to stop this big force Bayern Munich in the end. They are very tactical in their games and to me it was not a small ride to come out victorious, they had to put in those efforts and make worthwhile for themselves before they could achieve it.

This should be an encouragement to them and serve as a pushing force that they can do and achieve anything they set their mind at, this is indeed something to praise them for. Although new players are fantastic and exciting, it takes more than that to win a title. Leverkusen has to be smarter than only more showy. They gotta know their opponents inside and out. Every game is unique. They must change, adjust, and outsmart the opposition. It has to do with toughness and taking chances when the moment is right.

Now, defending the title? That is a somewhat difficult task. The Bundesliga is tough. There is hunger on every team. Try to place in the top 4. Confirm your Champions League spot. Thats where the big boys play. One creates a legacy there. So, Leverkusen, forget about repeating. Focus on getting better every game.

There was also a few others like Stuttgart Leipzig and for sure that nobody has expected Heidenheim.
Hopefully they can continue that good performance next season again with there style of playing.

It's a really strange sight. 11 years of domination and the season when it finally broke was the 23/24 season, and an unexpected team is Bayern Leverkusen. Really, Xabi Alanso did a great job, he was very close to winning a trophy, I am sorry that he lost it that trophy. But being the leader in the league and beating Bayern Munich was a very special situation. They really brought dynamism to the league.

Don't get me wrong, Bayern could win the league this season, there is really nothing wrong with that and it is possible, but if they do, that wouldn't be just because Kompany, I would give him a bit of credit, but not a whole lot because it is Bayern Munich we are talking about and that means they are going to end up with a title no matter who the manager is, last season was a fluke and if they win that would be because they are the best team in that league.

He mixed the things he learned from the bests in his head for years and created his own beautiful system.    Who would have thought it would run like clockwork right? Yeah maybe they lost in the Europa League finale. But I believe there was some complacency there too.

Anyways, as Leverkusen is likely to keep their current squad with the best players I expect another determined performance throughout the season. But this time I hope to see a big title competition.

Marco Rose will be at Leipzig until 2026 and i personally thinking he deserved to gets contract extension because during this season Leipzig performance is quite consistent and they can finish at 4th place at the end of league above to Dortmund and after losing several important players such as Josko Gvardiol, Christopher Nkunku, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Konrad Laimer last summer i thought Leipzig will be unable to bounce back and lost their consistency because they have decided to sell those players above which their status at that time as the key players in Leipzig

But clearly i was wrong because Marco Rose can solved to losing those players and Leipzig is quite consistent this season and if i am not mistaken since arrived to Leipzig on September 2022 Marco Rose can give 2 trophies total to Leipzig with 1 DFB pokal and 1 Germany Super Cup and in Champion League this season Leipzig can advances to round of 16 but unfortunately they lost from Real Madrid on that stage

If Atalanta is able to beat Bayer Leverkusen, then playing in the Champion League which basically Bayer Leverkusen will playing against teams with better quality, then of course Bayer Leverkusen still has to bring in new players. At least, to prepare the team to be even better next season with the best possible rotation that can be done if Bayer Leverkusen brings in some new players. Although indeed, I also still recognize that Xabi Alonso will still be able to provide good results for Bayer Leverkusen next season but it seems, only limited to the domestic league. Because anyway, if they want to get good results also in the Champion League, then total rotation will be something that must be done, so they need second-tier players who also have good quality.

Leipzig has announced a contract extension for its coach, Marco Rose, until 2026 and this is the right step taken by management to retain him. The reason is that since being brought in in 2022, Leipzig has always appeared consistent by successfully finishing in the top four and this former Dortmund coach has not disappointed at all and he just needs to continue his current adventure in bringing Leipzig to the ladder of competition for the title.

During the 23/24 season, Leizpig only suffered 7 defeats from 34 matches and I think this is still normal even though there were several moments that they could have turned into wins. Well, let's see whether Leipzig can still maintain its performance next season and we know that this Bundesliga will be even more difficult to predict considering that Bayern Munich will no longer be able to dominate.
