But it finished by Atalanta in the Europa League. Otherwise they could have carried the streak to even this season. Xabi Alonso has gathered all the attention on himself as a result. Another unbeaten streak by Bayern Leverkusen will be very hard this season because all the teams in the Bundesliga will be super ready for them and won’t allow the repetition of what happened last season to happen again. Bayern Leverkusen still has the chance to become champions of this season if they perform like they did last season or even put more effort than what they did last season. Bayern Munich is also a worthy contender and I don’t think they’re going to allow Bayern Leverkusen to win the trophy for the second term in succession. Bayern Munich will only have a chance to compete for the league title if the coach is very up and doing to make things work out for the team.
