Exactly, if Alonso wants him to be continuously praised as a good coach, he needs to repeat the same thing he did in his first season at Bayern Leverkusen coaching them. At worst he should not be on the wrong side of the final result after the season. He is a respected coach more since he won the trophy without losing any match. He needs to continue that performance with them until he fully believe and make that impression to everyone that he can be the best coach everyone wants him to be and like other successful coaches and not just a lucky one as others might foresee it.
Alonso went down in the history of Bayer as the first coach who brought them the title of champions, no matter what happens next, he will be remembered and appreciated for this achievement. I see that Alonso is also preparing some good transfers, so he aims to defend the championship title, if he decided to stay in this team, then it is clear that he will try to develop this team. The time comes for the confrontation between young coaches, Alonso versus Kompany.
There's no doubt to the fact that you'll have to maintain a certain level of consistency for you to enjoy being addressed a top performer in long time but even if Spanish young manager Xabi Alonso fails to win any major trophy with Bayer Leverkusen next season I don't think there's ever gonna be a serious doubt about his managerial abilities. Guiding Bayer Leverkusen to become the first German team to go through an entire Bundesliga campaign without conceding a defeat isn't an easy feat and that's why Xabi Alonso will continue to be regarded as the best managers of his age in a very long time.
Next season, Bayer Leverkusen who played in the UEFA Europa League competition will be playing in a bigger European competition which will be more energy demanding than the Europa League. Again, retaining the Bundesliga title is a harder task than winning and for a league that has Bayern Munich that failed to win any major trophy in the just concluded season, it'll be extremely difficult for Bayer Leverkusen to repeat their achievements of last season in 2024/25 season. That been said, I strongly believe that Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen can still shock world football again by retaining the Bundesliga title

Xabi Alonso will have to maintain last season's performance if he wants to still be held in high regard in Bayer Leverkusen. Club management don't really give a damn about your past performance because they want current results. It will be difficult for Leverkusen to replicate the unbeaten run next season but they should at least make a mark in the UCL League next season.

I will not totally accept that the loss to Atalanta proved that Xabi was lucky because they enjoyed an unbeaten run until they played the Europa League finals. Alonso built a good team that had all the quality to win games and they achieved much. For me, I will say that they were just unlucky to lose their most important game for the season.

As much as I love Bayern Leverkusen and Xabi Alonso, I'm afraid I cannot agree when you talk about them being unlucky, Atalanta earned it. When you go back to see that game, thru studied Bayern Leverkusen very well and made it difficult for them to even operate in midfied during that finals. Most importantly, I loved the man to man marking they gave Bayern Leverkusen. I'm giving all of the credits to Atalanta and at most Ademola Lookman.

Doing the unbeaten would be difficult for Bayern Leverkusen next season. Lol.

Some players are keen to leave the club though, at most Jonathan Tah who has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich. Hopefully this doesn't affects them. I see what that player is doing, he is trying to think long term so he could win more trophies whenever Bayern Munich begins dominating again. But, that I doubt, we'll see to that though!

As of Nuri Şahin's taking over, I believe we can see a good improvement from Dortmund in the Bundesliga next season. Some will say he isn't an experienced manager and yeah it is the truth. He is very young at the same time. However as he has a big history with Dortmund as a player I believe he would know what can be better for this team to be more effective.  Smiley

Terzic did a wonderful job in the Champions League of course. I have a big respect for that. He couldn't do the same in the Bundesliga but hopefully Nuri Şahin will improve there as well. It would be nice to see Dortmund back in the Bundesliga title competition.
Yes, at least we have to have a sense of optimism, however, we can't see its capabilities at the moment and we still have to wait for more than a month to be able to see it. I don't think Dortmund will be much different from the previous season, especially since Nuri Sahin has been assistant coach for so long that they should be able to repeat the same success rather than get bad results next season.

I think even if Dortmund can't reach the desired targets with Nuri Sahin, that's not a problem, especially in his first season as a new coach, it's certainly not easy to handle every problem that exists. His responsibilities are also getting bigger and there is always criticism from most people or even his fans and I think that's a normal thing.

I find it a bit odd that people want Alonso to consistently produce good results (winning trophies) before he can be called a good coach. I mean, if his achievement with Leverkusen is just "lucky", then how would you judge his competitors? I guess every manager is terrible nowadays, which means a club should pick their coach randomly if that is the case. No point analyzing a coach's profile as long as they can get a bit lucky once in a while. He's probably not the next Guardiola, he won't have as much leeway with buying players, and he doesn't have to be one. Then again I guess he doesn't care what people think of him, especially if the club and the fans are happy with him.

What he has presented to Leverkusen this season has made Xabi Alonso the most appreciated and respected coach by all Leverkusen fans, his presence has changed everything and made Leverkusen a team capable of giving competition to Bayern Munich. It is not difficult for Xabi Alonso to maintain his team's performance next season, the players already understand each other and they have also integrated with the strategy used by Xabi Alonso.
I am happy that he chose to stay with Leverkusen instead of accepting offers from other clubs such as Liverpool and Bayern Munich, this decision is very good for his future and also the team he is managing. His performance so far has changed the history of Leverkusen, he will try to win more trophies and make him the most successful coach in Leverkusen history.

Alonso got consistent performances  with Bayer Leverkusen throughout the season and his results would have been even more valuable had he been able to win the EL final. Those coaches who can achieve long-term stable results are valued, if Alonso doesn’t achieve anything with Bayer next season, the attitude towards him will also change, they will say that he was just lucky, or even regarding the final, a strong team could beat Atalanta, which means luck also played its part role for Alonso.

This is what happens in football, afterall, Dortmund lost their last game and handed over the tittle to Bayern Munich the season before last. These are things that must happen in football to make it fun and unpredictable. But it really pained me that they lose that game because I was thinking Since they are so eager to do an unbeaten, they will trash Atalanta, but the reverse was the case, things went on a wrong path, and they have taken it the way they see it.They just need to try more next season to win the Champions league

When I saw what Xabi did in his first season at Leverkusen, my attitude towards coaches has changed. Experience is of course important, but each coach must be given sufficient time. Kompany is perhaps a coach who can teach Bayern important football tactics. I'm sure their main goal will be to leave Leverkusen behind.

Of course it was very surprising to everybody seeing the performance of Bayern Leverkusen improve the way they did because following up there performances seasons ago if somebody would tell me that they would be the winner of this season Bundesliga I will seriously doubt it but however Xabi has proven that he has the technical knowledge to take Bayern Leverkusen into another level, so I totally agree with you that is very important for a club to be very patient with there coach because if not for the time Bayern Leverkusen gave Xabi they wouldn't have secure the reputation they did on this season, however in terms of Kompany there is a possibility that he may coach well if giving the opportunity but however I'm only a bit skeptical because he is still very new in terms of coaching.

In as much as I want to hope and have believe that Bayern Leverkusen can repeat or do something similar to what they did last year one same thought fails to jump out from my mind and that's the taught of maybe it's just a one season wonder because believe me they have been lots of cases like the one of Bayern lavekusen and then the next season everything doesn't seem to be working again but seeing what they have literally achieve I still feel the clubs in the bundesLiga will all be out to get this Leverkusen team.

Bayern this season has been unlike anything we've seen before, not at all. But one observation is that they got worse not this season, but the season before that, when Borussia almost won the league, then Bayern became champions with a very big difficulty due to their own mistakes during the season again. This season there were a lot more of them, that's why they got this result. And it's worth noting that there were hardly any chances given that Leverkusen have never lost a game

Alonso has done a very extraordinary job and is able to make history with Bayer Leverkusen. For next season it is certainly not easy for Alonso to be able to do the same again because the challenges will also be more different. In my opinion if Alonso fails next season it will definitely get a different assessment but that is something normal. And it looks like Alonso will not be disturbed by it and maybe he is ready to leave if it's not needed anymore. But the brilliant historical records that were created were difficult to make by others even that would not happen in the next half century.

I understand the point but for me, not every manager can have the same success as Xabi Alonso. Because of course, every manager has different skills and thus, the luck factor also plays a role in a success. For example, it which also have happened to De Rossi for AS Roma last season, getting good results in the first few matches, but in the end his performance and results also declined. Apart from that, regarding Tuchel who succeeded in making Chelsea win the Champions League trophy at that time, even though basically Chelsea at that time was quite chaotic with Lampard, but Tuchel managed to change it quickly. But after that, in reality Tuchel also failed to maintain the quality of Chelsea performance until Tuchel was finally fired. So yes, I think not all managers have the same chance, because I think Xabi success with Bayer Leverkusen.Of course, that is a very impressive achievement and it is very difficult for other managers to achieve such impressive results, because Kompany is also still relatively new in his coaching career.

Nuri Sahin has a tough task for his first season, it will be very difficult to lead Dortmund back to the Champions League final next season, like Edin Terzic did last season. His understanding of the club can help make his job as a manager easier, besides his experience as Edin Terzic assistant makes him resistant to various pressures. The challenges that Nuri Sahin will face are more difficult because they have parted ways with players like Marco Reus and Mats Hammels, two veteran players who have been leaders for Dortmund's young generation so far. It seems that Dortmund will move actively to add depth to the squad, as a replacement for the roles left by their two legends, and as usual Dortmund are shrewd enough to spot talented young players.

Of course, with Bayern Munich currently experiencing problems like this, this is an opportunity for other teams to take advantage of it, especially Leverkusen, who will definitely take advantage of this opportunity. Of course, Bayern Munich failed to win a trophy because they had a problem that caused them to experience a decline in performance so that they couldn't compete well enough so they couldn't get the title in the season that passed. They must be able to fix everything to be able to perform better and provide even better competition in the coming season.

indeed, with Leverkusen itself still having the same coach, of course that will make them perform the same as before and will definitely try to be better than before, for Bayern Munich of course they must be able to improve their performance to be able to compete again with their best performance, because with them experiencing a decline in performance, this clearly creates an opportunity for other teams to take advantage of it.

It doesn’t look like Bayern Munich under performance will last for a very long time, they may have had a bad season in the just concluded season, but I don’t think they will continue in this manner for a long time to give other teams opportunity to overthrow or overpower them from winning the Bundesliga trophy. Bayern Leverkusen were really at their best last season and when Bayern Munich underperformed, it caused them to lose that dominancy in the league and made Bayern leverkusen improved performance to overshadow theirs. Bayern Leverkusen can try again and win the league for the second time but I don’t think they’ll get it easier than before but rather they’ll exert more efforts to bring their best more than before in other to get to defeat Bayern Munich again in the league trophy.

Yeah that's right, there is no guarantee that a team will continue to play consistently every season we can take examples from several leagues, Napoli in Serie A and Leicester City in the Premier League well the same thing could happen to Leverkusen, I'm not underestimating Leverkusen but just making a comparison. If we look at some of the news, Leverkusen is indeed preparing and improving its squad for next season but we have to wait to confirm whether it will work well.

By the way, one of Leverkusen's strongest competitors such as Bayern Munich, is also preparing a squad especially in defense and so far Bayern Munich has brought in 3 players in the defense line with a budget of almost 40 Million, meaning they are aware of weaknesses on several lines.
A coach is certainly not difficult to build a very strong squad, especially if it does get full support from the team management, but the problem for every coach is to maintain the performance and also the consistency of the team in competing in the next season, from several leagues, of course we can see how some teams have to fall when the previous season they performed well,  As you said, Leicester City and also Napoli can be an example of two teams that have a surprising appearance in one season but fall in the next seasons, if you look at Napoli and Leicester City, of course we find one similarity that we can probably say as the cause of their downturn, both teams fell after both sacked the coach.

While Leverkusen seem to be in a different situation between Napoli and Leicester City, Alonso is still staying at Leverkusen but not with some of their players leaving, I hope Leverkusen can keep their squad this season, so that way we can still see Leverkusen competing between Dortmund and Munich as Bundesliga title contenders next season.

Bundesliga title was won by Bayer Leverkusen because Bayern Munich wad not in form previous season. The Bavarians are here to stationed winning and we know it's up and running. Bayern Munich new coach will do better, I know this actual fact for sure. Vincent Kompany is classified mediocre because Bayern Munich happens to be the first top flight club to manage as coach and we know what's capable of, he will put in enough work for the purpose to succeed in his first season.
It is difficult to say that Vincent Kompany will be able to improve Bayern Munich performance in the near future, my doubts about his ability are based on his failure to save Burnley from relegation. The previous coach had more experience in managing the club, but his presence could not improve Bayern Munich performance as many expected. This is also the first time Vincent Kompany has managed a big club, next season he will lead Bayern Munich in the UCL competition, of course he will have big demands to make Bayern Munich a team capable of competing in the title race.

Apart from that, competition in the Bundesliga next season will also be even fiercer, Vincent Kompany must also make Bayern Munich, who have just lost the title they have won for years regain champion status from Leverkusen. His first season will not be perfect with Bayern Munich, he will also work under pressure from club officials who want Bayern Munich to win trophies again.

After Bayern Munich's poor performance in the just concluded season, they sacked their club manager Thomas Tuchel and went on to hire Vincent Kompany who many are very doubtful of his ability to succeed at the club. Bayer Leverkusen last season in the Bundesliga delivered the best campaign by any German club as they won the German Bundesliga title without conceding a single league defeat. Despite the fantastic and unbelievable performance of Bayer Leverkusen in the just concluded season, they're still not the favorite team to win the German league come next season. Bayern Munich have a squad that's made up of more world class players than Bayer Leverkusen and the depth of the Bayern Munich squad is unarguably the best in the country. Despite their number of quality players at Bayern Munich and the favorable odds to win the title next season, many football fans are of the opinion that they're likely to struggle under Vincent Kompany but the Belgian succeeds at the club

There is no guarantee that Leverkusen will play as before last season because after all Juha apart from Xabi Red in the squad it is a good condition but their performance next season is still not ascertained because the same Perfoema as this season for Leverkuesn is still a hope Until Sekaramg and hope it needs to be realized, it's just that it is still uncertain in the end in the end we still have to wait also in the end whether it can still happen or not it depends on Xabi in carrying out the scheme next season.

Indeed, the probability is strong for Xabi because with the current high trust conditions and with the players who still have no news of going (although rumors are still developing a number of interlocking) but it is undeniable that the probabilita do the brilliant season can still occur depending on how they are In dealing with the existing pressure.

There is a reason for this hope that competition in the Bundesliga will become interesting when there is a change to another club which always holds the Bundesliga title and we hope that Leverkusen will be successful again, it all depends on the match schedule and also the players.
When Leverkusen does not sell its main players or even add new players with reliable talent, Leverkusen's performance will definitely improve, but you also have to look at the pressure that Leverkusen will face when they have a busier schedule than before.

Last season when Leverkusen managed to win the Bundesliga trophy, Leverkusen did not have a busy schedule because they did not have a schedule of matches with stronger clubs.
This season, Leverkusen actually has pressure from the Champions League that they have to face stronger clubs and the players' energy has to be used up even more.
I also hope that Leverkusen can win the title again but it looks like it will be more difficult than last season.
