I totally agree with you. When team becomes too confident they can become weak. This happened to Leverkusen when they lost to Atalanta. Despite doing well in Bundesliga.they thought they could easily beat Atalanta but they were wrong. Atalanta coach Gasperini came up with better plan and Lookman played an amazing game that Leverkusen didn't expect. This loss teaches Leverkusen valuable lesson that no team is perfect and competitions in Europe require different level of preparation. Leverkusen made the same mistakes this season as they did last season. Hopefully they will learn from this defeat and work to improve their team for future challenges.

There will always be a stronger opponent in the opposing league just like this time when atalanta beats leverkusen with decent scores. Honestly a three goals loss was really much, if they had lost by a goal or maximum two it could be considered fair and probably assumed that Atlanta were just lucky but then in this case non of such was the case because three goals is a clear indication they had a deserving win and even by their performance they showed they weren't really deserving of winning the trophy rather Atlanta was.

Next season Bayern Leverkusen will be going to the UCL. I believe they will perform awesome there as well. If they maintain this type of performance, we might likely see them going far in the UCL.

Leverkusen had an amazing performance during this season no matter if they lost the final match against Atalanta with a 3-0 result but they had god enough performance to make Bayern Munich change their coach and lose the Bundesliga title after ears of winning it.
Leverkusen didn't lose any game after 51 games of playing in different tournaments and this is amazing for any team at this level.

Bochum was unable to take advantage of this opportunity to stay in the Bundesliga, so this defeat became stronger and took them to Bundesliga 2. If Bayern Munich can't hire a proper coach/manager, no doubt Leverkusen may dominate again Bundesliga in the next season. But sure, we don't ignore other teams such as Dortmund, Stuttgart, and Leipzig. These teams also have the chance to win the title of Bundesliga in the next season. Moreover, if the performance of Leverkusen can't be as consistent as the previous season. After seeing Leverkusen performance in the final Europa league yesterday, I'm a bit worried they won't perform as well as this season anymore.

Now with the current situation most chances we are having Bochum into Bundesliga 2 with they are trailing by 0–3 at home and Düsseldorf in complete control which is good for them.
