The curse of Harry Kane not winning any trophy has become eternal joke that makes many people even believe that his bad luck is real. This feel so unfair towards the player, because he can't do anything alone to win a league trophy. The spoiled Bayern fans keep repeating this joke to put blame on Harry Kane, and this could backfire them if Harry Kane feels affected by it and loses his confidence next season that will be a bad effect to the team.

Harry Kane has done the best he can do, but the reason for the Bayern's failure is not because Harry Kane or Bayern performed bad, but they were  competing against a 'perfect' team with unbeaten record. Nothing Bayern can do to have a better result except to be a 'perfect' team as well, which is not a normal thing to happen.

Both teams come with different ambitions, Bochum who come from the Bundesliga because they are at the bottom of the table & Fortuna Dusseldorf who come from the 2. Bundesliga and are full of ambition. That's what differentiates these two teams. I think there's no longer any chance for Bochum to catch up, the most reasonable result in the second leg is Bochum winning, but they will not go to the Bundesliga.

Even I remember when Harry Kane joined Bayern Munich some of the Bayern Munich fans were saying they wouldn't be able to win any title during this season because they had Kane in this team. In fact, they knew Kane was not a lucky player and he could make his team to lose the titles they usually won before.
In fact, I think he has a good performance himself but still, some people blame Kane for everything that happened for Bayern Munich dung this season.
However, if they had a more stable team they could have much better results.

He coached Burnley and was able to take them to the Premier league, and although they have been sent back to relegation, we cannot blame it all on him, the quality of the teams in the league was too much for him to handle with the players he had.

If you have also noticed most of the coaches that learnt coaching under Pep Guardiola have become very good coaches in their team, we see Arsenal coach as an example of that, or players who he coached who have now become coaches , players like Xabi Alonso, Xavi. Vincent Kompany can be another. One of the biggest problems that Bayern Munich had this season was their defense which was very poor but some have managed to save them fine to the Champions League, Vincent Kompany was a very good defender, he will bring changes to Bayern's defense.

With the quality of players that Bayer Munich have Vincent kompany can have the opportunity to show how good he really can be, although it is going to be a big challenge because he will be giving the target to win back the Bundesliga and also win the Champions league.

Sometimes it's very possible a player can be very good but will not be appreciated enough because of a single factor which may include the winning of the league title and that's exactly the  case of  cane, he's such a brilliant and excellent player but because he wasn't able to win the league title again this season, he's rather considered weak and not good enough to be able to get his team the league title.

He had what looked like the most number of goals by a single player this season in the whole of Europe but then it wasn't considered like such because he wasn't able to win their domestic league title again this season, something they have been able to actually win through out previous seasons of which for me I don't see as a big deal enough because they have won it subsequent seasons of which he has been a key played to such success hence he isn't to be considered a weak player or not have been able to achieve a whole lot, he was able to lead the team to the champions league semi finals and was also able to help the team qualify for the champions league from their domestic aswell.

Next season is another season and we should aswell consider that he's not a very young player and cannot continually be as effective as he would be much earlier than now, he has been really helpful to the team at the beginning of the season and at this point it can be said he's been a good player enough even if he isn't as efficient as he had always been at the very beginning of his arrival to the team.

I do agree that these type of games have a different tone to it and Leverkusen had just one good season so far, which means that they are not going to be all that commonly facing finals all the time, they are good at the league system because it's league and they did alright there but when it's "win or go home empty handed" games, they are not all that experienced in those situations all that commonly. Sure they had some at europa league, which means that they had a little bit of experience this season but all their experiences comes from this season alone and not previous seasons.

I believe that if Xabi keeps staying and keeps playing this game, they are going to get better at European leagues as well, it's just requires some time.

Yes, but Bochum's performance so far has been very bad. Their motivation is really small. On the other hand, even though Fortuna is in League 2, they have quite a big motivation to get into the main Bundesliga in Germany. However, this is only the first leg, and we will be presented with different results perhaps in the second leg. Or will Bochum's appearance be much more slumped? Yes, that can happen, because later they will play at the Fortuna stadium in the second leg, right?

In my opinion. as long as Xabi is still there, as long as Xabi can optimize the strategy he applies and also as long as the club supports him, then this will happen. I am sure that in the transfer market, Xabi will make a purchase that can make Leverkusen even stronger. This is beyond doubt, at least this time they have more money and Xabi has more opportunities to buy the best players in his opinion for the club.

It is possible for Bayer Leverkusen to maintain their good form, but for repeating what they actually did this season, I have some confidence that they can't repeat their unbeaten record; in fact,  it just happened at Lucky despite their good form. Even if a team is in great form, playing unbeaten throughout the season and making it to the league is not easy work. Xabi Alonso is a great coach, and he has really shown how good he is this season, so even next season we are expecting great work from him, and I believe it will still continue to carry the Leverkusen team on top.
Yes, I saw the news, but honestly, I thought it was a rumor. but as it is true, I don't know what Bayern Munich sees in the kompany, and they want to sign him as coach. If the kompany cannot cope in Premier League competition, what is the assurance that he will succeed in coaching Bayern Munich well? But let's see what will really happen next season if he becomes Bayern Munich coach. The kompany is not that bad, but I am just thinking he is not a well-experienced coach. He has just started, and the record is not that good this season.he have only coach burley.

In football modern era, usually most successful team support with good financial condition and spending much money when window transfer opening. Has difference did for this season by Xabi  Alonso success made Bayern Leverkusen become the winner of Bundesliga just has small fund for signing players but for the first time destroy Bayern Munich dominance since eleven season. I think Bayern Leverkusen could be be rule model for mediocre Bundesliga team with their potential become the winner next season without spending much money on window transfer opening.

Bayern Leverkusen must forget with their failure in Europe League final after defeating by Atalanta, go a head and has one final match left DFB Pokal Cup to get double trophies in this season behind loss opportunity with treble winner. Don't think with the weakness team in the final face by Leverkusen learned how unpredictable result when success defeating by Atalanta at Europe League final match.

It would be strange if Bayern Munich's failure was due to Harry Kane's curse or because he did not appear at his best when in reality at Bayer Munich he was the player who scored the most goals and even contributed the most to the team. Bayern Munich's failure does not depend on just one player but is purely due to Tuchel's mistakes in implementing tactics and not having chemistry with players which has made Bayern Munich's performance this season not solid. As bad as Bayern Munich is, it is very rare for them not to get a trophy in a season, and since being coached by Tuchel, Bayern Munich ending the season without a trophy is truly a big setback.

Yes I agree with you. If you draw the thread, actually Bayern Munich's biggest mistake was when they fired Julian Nugelsman, even though at that time Bayern Munich was fine, maybe now they are being hit by karma because of Julian Nugelsman's dismissal. And maybe there are also other mistakes because Oliver Khan as management still has the same temperamental nature as before, which makes him impatient and communication less stable.

After the loss to Atalanta in the Europa League final, Bayern Leverkusen still stand a chance to add to their number of trophies this season after already securing the Bundesliga earlier. Their loss to Atalanta in the finals shouldn’t make them feel weak or disturbed of not been able to achieve success in their DFB Pokal finals. They are playing against a weaker team, so they should be able to win if they put their mind to it. Atalanta failed to win the Copa Italia final but where able to win the Europa League final after that defeat, so I expect the same for Bayern Leverkusen in the DFB Pokal finals.


They can still be great next season and win the Bundesliga after a poor season this year. If you can remember that Thomas Tuchel first year in Bayern Munich, he won the Bundesliga trophy for them and that shouldn’t be a surprise if a new coach that will be joining them next season do the same. Bayern Munich is already an established team with all the best players they can have, so any coach coming to manage them will only have little or non to add to their performance. Any coach with experience and tactical ability can coach and triumph Bayern Munich to victory next season.

I agree with you, Tuchel is responsible for the challenges Bayern Munich faced this season since Bayern Munich was unlucky this season, I thought they could lose their last game of the season to make their fans happy, but they ended up losing their last game of the season. On the other hand, Vincent Kompany is not the right coach to be at the club next season, I think Bayern Munich will make another mistake next season because Burnley got relegated after being promoted to the Premier League last season.


Although many are trying to judge Xabi Alonso after losing the Europa League final to Atalanta, we should understand that nothing lasts forever, so any club can get defeated by any opponent. Although Bayer Leverkusen has beaten top clubs that are stronger than Atalanta this season, like Bayern Munich and others, they played 51 games unbeaten in all competitions. So I don't think we should be surprised that they got defeated by Atalanta who lost their many games this season. This team has come far from the start of the season, and it looks very difficult for any team in the world to maintain their winning ways throughout the seasons. Bayer Leverkusen will face no challenges playing against Kaiserslautern because they performance isn't good in their league, they are currently at the 13 positions, and I'm not sure how they qualified for the DFB Pokal Final.

Actually, we don’t really know what will happen next season, and we don’t know how their performance will be next season, so therefore, I won’t predict yet because, despite the fact that Leverkusen came from knowing where and started shining, they can still do it next season because both teams, Bayern Leverkusen and Bayern Munich, already know each other's weak points, so next season is going to be tough, and because Bayern Leverkusen are going to look for another trophy again. 


Getting a new coach for Bayern Munich doesn’t mean they will come back with full power and get their performance back, and you know that when you get a new coach, the new manager will have to study the squad very well and know how the players are playing, so this may slow their progress in the season. However, age is not going to be what determines how he will manage the team. Let's see how Bayern Munich will do next season because the Bundesliga is going to be tough next season.

This failure is a very valuable experience and this has been one of the best experiences that Leverkusen and Alonso have had, who can really produce big results like this and never expected that it could end with a success like this season.
I agree with you even though Leverkusen failed in the European league but in the eyes of all other clubs Leverkusen looks very great and is highly appreciated because it was able to reach the final round through all obstacles from other clubs without being defeated even though they ended up losing.
This is a great experience that can be turned into good learning in the future when Alonso can really turn failure into success in the coming season.

Really they were put at a spot they shouldn't have been so vulnerable to be and at thesame time Atalanta used that game to gain victory and confidence. The German side are hardworking no doubt and I personally still have a good level of conviction in them. They should learn from the mistakes of the loss, remarkable feat they've attained.
