Leipzig is a big surprise in Bundesliga this season. It is good for the club to expand a contract with his talented and young coach. It is a good way to build up a strong and stable team with the same coach who help them to have a big successful season. The challenge is how Leipzig will be able to prevent player leaving the club in the coming transfer season. Many clubs like Leipzig have only one successful season, and after that they lost good players and falling in league table position.
Dortmund and Haaland will be able to fight for the Bundesliga title next season. I don't have any doubt that Haaland will have good performance or even better performance for Dortmund next season.

Leipzig did a good start to the season but started struggling. It's hard to believe when they were so close to Bayern and messed it up so much after then that they are now about to finish as 3rd on the table. Dortmund are playing quite well after Haaland came in their team. It will be interesting to see if he is able to give off the same performance as well in next season. Next round is the last round of Bundesliga so it wouldn't make any difference for Dortmund now even if they win or lose. Yeah they can get off with a good feeling of closing the season with a win.

Don't you remember 1998/1999 season ? This was the best ever season finish in terms of relegation in Bundesliga. Standings after round 33:

Nürnbergs Coach Friedel Rausch already got flowers from officials and a big round of applause from the whole stadium before kick-off for keeping Nürnberg in Bundesliga. What happened during the next 90 minutes was crazy. Rostock won a crazy game 3-2 in Bochum. Frankfurt vs Kaiserslautern was 0-0 at half-time, while Nürnberg was trailing Freiburg 0-2 at home, but still all good. At 70th minute in Frankfurt (it was 1-1 then), things got insane. Frankfurt scored 2-1, 3-1, 4-1 in 12 minutes and suddenly Nürnberg was in huge danger, because Rostock just took 3-2 lead in Bochum as well. Nürnberg managed to score 1-2 in 85th minute and Frankfurt was relegated at that time again. In 89th minute Jan-Aage Fjörtoft made it 5-1 with a super cool stepover for Frankfurt and Nürnberg relegated

As you can see, Nürnberg and Frankfurt had same goal differential, but Frankfurt scored more goals, so they won the next tie-breaker after GD. There was no playoffs at that time, so Nürnberg went straight into 2. Bundesliga.

The radio simulcast of second half was even published on CD, which has never happened before imo. Gazillion of people asked for it and wanted to witness the happenings re-live again

Now it's time for the relegation play-off spot between werder bremen and fortuna dusseldorf ...

Bremen will play at home against koln which they should be a bit worry as they had no really good records against them.
Bremen was a big club back in 2000's where they won the bundesliga in 2004 and always finished on top 3 between 2004 to 2010.
Would be sad to see bremen relegated especially for the former Miroslav klose .

Meanwhile fortuna dusseldorf will play against union berlin away.
They just need a draw and wishing bremen not to win with 4 goals difference or more.
Or win the game to ended bremen hope.

I havnt seen any of the matches but yeah looks like Dortmund has some run , sadly to late !
Augsburg is safe now as they have played a draw and just needed the 1 point for stay in the League.
Will be intresting who will get the relegation games and how they playing on it .
Maybe Hamburg or Heidenheim i guess will be the Teams for.

I really like the game of Dortmund when against Leipzig, very offensive and tactical. Therefore Dortmund can win 2-0, that is a fitting
result for Dortmund. And Erling Haaland showed his best performance by scoring 2 goals, hopefully in the next match Dortmund can
continue playing like this.

Currently as situation is going I am feeling Werder Bremen will relegated and Dusseldorf will go for play off's because Union is safe and they will not going to be tough for them so they can handle this all easily just draw can hurt them otherwise they are ok.

This is going to be exciting. There will be a lot of tears. Cannot tell yet how I'm going to bet. Düsseldorf is playing against Union Berlin.
4 goals more than cologne... Has anyone ever been relegated above goal difference?

i hope so much that werder bremen can still make the relegation play-offs. there must be a lot to pass on the last matchday...
düsseldorf may not win and bremen must win with 4 goals difference at home vs cologne (and this with this very bad home balance)

^That was such a clear sight of win for Wolfsburg, they won 4-1 and that is really a huuuuuge win for them. 1.60 for this game was a very good odds, there is really not that type of odds you can get for such a clear game most of the time. I have found one in La Liga recently where Alaves who is 12th in the league gets 4.5 odds on Celta Vigo which is 17th in the league.

I do not care about injuries and I do not care about red cards or I do not care about anything at all, there must be some reason why those are the odds but a 12th team getting 4.5 odds on a game against 17th team looks suspicious. This was 1.60ish so it is not even that bad, people knew Wolfsburg would win but didn't give them a clear win and was very wrong because game was 4-1 clearly easy for Wolfsburg, the other one looks suspiciously weird.

Only one Matchweek left and here's an overview of what's going on in the league table:

• Hoffenheim and Wolfsburg qualified to Europa League (one team will go to the group stage and the other one that finishes in 7th place goes to qualifiers).

• Leverkusen and Gladbach, only one wil qualify to the Champions League, the other one will go to Europa League.
   Bayer Leverkusen qualifies to Champions League if: 1) They win and Gladbach loses.
   Borussia Mönchengladbach qualifies to Champions League if: 1) They win, 2) They draw their game, 3) If Bayer loses or draws.
  
• Mainz, Koln, Augsburg - safe from relegation.

• Werder Bremen and Dusseldorf, one will be relegated and the other one will go to the relegation play-offs.

You sound really optimistic but I see Dusseldorf as the favourite in their game against Union Berlin. For Union the season is done, they are safe now and I am afraid that they won't give their 100%, even if it is unintentional.  And what happens when they lack these few percent in their game was visibile in the match against Hoffenheim today. This match today against Mainz was a must-win for Bremen, now they can only hope for Union.

OMG Leverkusen did it again and lost there game as they normaly should win it.
Guess that was it for Werder Bremen also as they lost there match against Mainz and they should be safe now.
Schalke lost also and maybe we will see next season maybe a new Coach there.
Dortmund have done there job about Leipzig, just a few bets was right today , damn.

Hehe, yes, what a beating they took Wolfsburg looked like Bayern today, Schalke should be happy that no fans are around for the time being.

Bremen game next weekend will be interesting. They play Cologne and have to win big in order to catch up goal differential-wise with Düsseldorf (in case they draw with Union, which is very likely). Cologne and Düsseldorf hate each other, so wouldn't be surprised, if Bremen wins this game 4-0+ with Cologne showing only minimal effort and resting their best players.

Boys boys that was the hardest moment in my life keeping my fingers away from this topic, waiting till the end and not bursting in laugh seeing Schalke infinite 0 gets beaten by Wolfsbourg 1-4. Dat goal of honor ruined a little bit my joy

Feel sorry for Bremen. Mainz is safe right now. Leverkusen what the hell? Now M'Gladbach just need a draw vs Hertha to keep the 4th place...

Good odds today on BTTS pair on both Hertha - Bayer and Leipzig - Dortmund games. I took them combined for a total of 2.43 odds, I think there will be goals in both games.

Monchengladbach is only at 1.25 which is expected since Paderborn is bottom of the league but I dislike playing such games. Thought of adding a handicap Monchengladbach win but at the end went without it.

Somehow I feel Schalke is a good gamble today but I already placed a lot of bets so I'm skipping that one. They have to win a game eventually.

Nah I don't "hate" any team but I dislike Schalke performance in recent games. 2 points after the pause, losing easy games, I simply cannot trust them to win vs any team, I am mad maybe and I hope they will prove that I am wrong or else I will add another 0 to its modified name (Schalke 00)

Couldn't agree more. There is absolutely no value to take Wolfsburg while I don't trust Schalke enough to throw some money on them. I am skipping this one. This is first weekend since all the Corona stuff happened that we have a lot of good games from a choice of leagues so I can be picky

While we are on the value subject there is a lot of strange odds for me today. I decided to try and exploit X2 on Dortmund @1.7. I don't remember I have ever seen so big odds on Dortmund if they are not playing against Bayern. There is no home support advantage and Werner has signed for Chelsea so he will probably not play and if he plays his head will be somewhere else. This odds look like a bargain to me. I believe Dortmund doesn't have important injury problems except for Reus but he is missing so often that this shouldn't be a big factor.

Do you dislike Schalke ? I do too and would like to see them in 2. Bundesliga or lower But all hate aside, don't you think that those odds are a bit low for Wolfsburg ? I don't see them having a 60%+ possiblity of winning today. It's not easy to beat Schalke at Veltins Arena, only four teams (25%) managed to get all 3 points there this season. Last home game against Leverkusen was pretty good imo and they took a point. Wolfsburg is doing good in away games (50% won), especially after the break, where they went 3-0-1. They were priced around 2.00 in their away games at Augsburg & Bremen and these odds would be more fair for todays game too. So while Wolfsburg is favourite to win, odds on Schalke have value imo

Indeed Wolfsbourg gonna beat the shit out of Schalke 00 in today game, unless that team has only 1 attention to troll every fan and bettor which succeeded in it by far until now. Schalke 00 especially after the pause should marry Paderborn and go to a trip to 2nd Bundesliga
