Does everyone think that M'Gladbach will win today? Paderborn is relegated and they can play free. No more pressure. This can be an advantage for Paderborn.
Imo being relegated doesn't give Paderborn any advantage against Mochengladbach tomorrow (not today) they have been relegated with two matches left and have only won four matches all season, they have had a very poor season to forget and Mochengladbach would ease through this one.

It's Gladbach that comes into the match with motivation and something to play for, if they win they go ahead of Leverkusen into fourth place and hope Hertha beats or holds Leverkusen to a draw, a strong finish to this campaign could see Gladbach end fourth.

I think that Paderborn players have 0 pressure 0 profit so they will not care about that game so they will be like the employee who says I am here and do nothing so it should be a historic win for M'Gladbach. Dunno but I am feeling like this. Maybe 1 or 2 players will try to impress others teams so they might be considered. Roll Eyes

Eintracht, Wolfsbourg, Hoffenheim, M'Gladbach, Bayern, Leverkusen are supposed to win their games without much struggle tho
So the last 2 match days all teams will be playing on the same day and at the same time.
An intresting match tomorrow will be Leipzig against Dortmund for sure and my bet will be for Dortmund even they lost the last game.
Also the game between Mainz and Werder Bremen will be intresting nad hope that Bremen will win that maybe.
Best games are Dortmund vs Leipzig and Bremen vs Mainz. Odds seem better for Dortmund but the laggy Leipzig can manage to win too.
Now Bremen should win vs Mainz at any cost, even a draw shouldn't be a choice at all! Go Bremen you can do it!!
Another interesting game is Düsseldorf and Augsbourg, hard to predict too. I am supporting Augsbourg although I doubt that they will win since they don't have any motivation but for the sake that Bremen get out of the relegation zone!

- Bremen, Düsseldorf and Mainz are fighting in the relegation zone.

I think i'll be watching the Mainz vs. Werder showdown tomorrow, a lot on the line for both teams. I was looking forward to bet on total booking points, as i expect the game to be chippy and intense (it would've been better if Dortmund didn't gift the home side 3pts midweek though). Slightly risky but O 55/65 points sounds plausible to me, at least one red card and few yellows in there. What's the weather forecast for tomorrow, rain, t-storms expected?

So the last 2 match days all teams will be playing on the same day and at the same time.
As usual, i mean, there's always so much in play towards the end of the season, right now we have:

- Leipzig, Leverkusen, Gladbach, all in the race for  last thetwo Champions League spots.
- Wolfsburg, Hoffenheim, Freiburg and Frankfurt are still in the race for the Europa League qualification.
- Bremen, Düsseldorf and Mainz are fighting in the relegation zone.

i'm thinking of going with a big parlay tomorrow. All of these teams can't speculate about X or Y result, the game tomorrow is a must win no matter what, so i'm expecting offensive tactics and a lot of goals, corners, and yellow cards. 5-team or 6-team parlay, let's do this!!

I'm not so sure about yesterday but I do have a feeling that Dortmund game was rigged in a way or another and same goes for Leipzig <...>
proof or it didn't happen  Grin

I didn't watch the games but, Dortmund had nothing to play for, they already qualified for the next CL so being 2nd or 3rd is pretty much the same thing other than a small different in prize money by the Bundesliga. Plus, Mainz was motivated to get the 3pts no matter what as it meant a step closer to securing a place in the Bundesliga the next season.
Yeah I had the same ideas when I saw them losing that game but honestly that was something like a gift to Mainz to let them escape the relegation risk zone well partially until now. Leipzig, had high ping and they are lagging after the pause so it isn't a surprise!
Yesterday Dortmund really give some good gift to Mainz and now they are feeling good as they have some good advantage with staying in Bundesliga now next match is also very important for them and if they play a drawa against Werder Bremen then surely they are going to stay here.

I am playing Darmstadt HC-1 @8.20 today.

Bielefeld wins 1-0, which was ok all things considered. Darmstadt had their chances to take the lead, but they faded a bit as the game progressed. I don't think I have ever had a correct prediction in this thread, which is quite an accomplishment, albeit a negative Cheesy Time for proper sports like cycling to start again soon.

Honestly second or third at this point of the season really doesn't change much, I doubt there was rigging going on as well, why would anyone risk it. Sometimes teams are not in their best situation both mentally and physically so they do play out of character and play very badly, it looks like its rigged but its just one of those days where everything goes bad for you. It looks like Dortmund will finish second and nothing will change that from now on, there wasn't many games left when the leagues came back anyway so I wasn't really suspecting anything would have changed. The only thing I wondered was Haaland he didn't do anything this time around, he won the game last time so I was expecting at least a goal from him.

I'm not so sure about yesterday but I do have a feeling that Dortmund game was rigged in a way or another and same goes for Leipzig....and I'm so glad that I'm not betting on Bundesliga anymore as even my TV Shows in Sports talked about those shady games from yesterday and how they are ruin the Bundesliga. Besides this, I've read a lot of online articles pointing in the direction of a rigged game but do not worry as in my country we had a game yesterday when a team came to play with the 3rd team and of course they lost to the last team of the championship... .

Well, rigged is probably exaggerated. But for Dortmund the season was pretty much done with Bayern winning the title with their win over Bremen and with the UCL qualification already secured. Don't get me wrong, as a Bremen supporter I was furious that they seemed to not really care about the game. But I also have to acknowledge that Mainz did a really good job. It was obvious that they needed to win that game and that they wanted to win.

And btw. the stats for Dortmund weren't that bad:  15 vs 10 goal attempts and possession of 66% vs 34 % in favour of the BVB, 744 passes played with an accuracy of 89% (Stats taken from here). It was just obvious that they didn't have the ultimate will to win that game and if the other team does have that will, it happens that a relegation candidate wins against a Champions League team.

And Leipzig struggeling lately isn't that surprising either. They also didn't win against Paderborn where it should've been an easy win for them on the paper. But these kind of upsets make these games worth watching. It would be boring if the teams that are favourites win all the time.

Leipzig would still probably go to champions league next year, their last game is with Augsburg and they are 14th in the league. Not that it should matter because anything could happen after all of the break but they are probably back in shape now and Leipzig is miles better team so I would say they will at worths finish 4th in the league and Gladbach would probably not catch them.

Leverkusen is the one that should be more careful, just one point ahead and any mishap would mean they will be gone, though they are playing with Mainz and Hertha so I do not think they will lose any points neither. I would say 1-bayern 2- dortmund 3- Leipzig 4- leverkusen 5- gladbach finish is almost but guaranteed, just need to finish the games and we will see if there will be any surprises.

Leipzig really managed to drop the ball yesterday. With a win they would have secured Champions league for next season, and their next game is Borussia.

Fortuna grabbed a really important point for them, both Werder and Fortuna have winnable fixtures in the next 2 rounds. That 1 point is a really big psychological advantage.

It looks like it was Leipzig the one who did drop points from the first three top teams. They can still achieve Champions league without problems I think if they focus on the remaining game and are able to get a win.Relegation is still hot and interesting but I think the one who will be saved is Bremen.
Not sure if in the next season leipzig could repeat the same success as they have lost werner who officially moved to london as the blues, he is the heart of Leipzig, the goal machine for leipzig.

The relegation battle is indeed still happening and getting interested.
I can't see that confidence .. i mean you say bremen will avoiding the relegation because of what? Their position isn't rhat safe, the points between bottom 3 is very tight.

Bremen could avoid direct relegation, but to be saved they have to play with third spot in 2. Bundesliga, and that could be Hamburg, which is quite a challenge to overcome, maybe more than to get more points then Dusseldorf in last two rounds, Bremen and Hamburg are close to each other, and matches between them will be quite a experience

I am playing Darmstadt HC-1 @8.20 today. The only realistic chance for them to have a shot at playoff spot is going via goal differential. But even that is ultra slim chance and won't happen, but I guess they will try, they have nothing to lose.

  • They can't catch up with Stuttgart no more.
  • If Hamburg gets one additional point, they can't catch up with them no more as well and all hope is lost.
  • Hamburg plays at Heidenheim on Sunday and they must hope for Heidenheim win with not too big margin.
  • Darmstadt has GD of +2, while Heidenheim has +11.
  • Heidenheim and Hamburg have to lose their games in last round then, while Darmstadt must have improved on their GD against Bielefeld, Wehen and Stuttgart.

Table would look like this then:

3. Darmstadt 55pts
4. Heidenheim 55 pts
5. Hamburg 54 pts

Bielefeld players will have had some beers and although coach Neuhaus is not the coach to accept some 50% effort, I expect Darmstadt to be way sharper today. They have done quite well after the break and also found the back of the net more often recently. Some overs might be good bets too.

The most interesting part of Bundesliga now is who will get relegated with Paderborn. Is it Bremen or Düsseldorf. Mainz too, if it lose against Bremen and Leverkusen, it will be at high risk if the two other teams managed to win their two matches!
