Congrats Bremen did it with 6 goals vs 1 for Koln and Union nuked Dusseldorf hopes with 3 goals to 0!

Otherwise in the other games, as always Schalke is impressing everyone with 0-4 Freiburg... and shockingly Dortmund losing with 4 goals to Hoffenheim??

Come on, man...doesn't matter if you qualified to the CL months ago or have nothing to play for, at least put some effort, put some "cojones" as the spaniards say and play for real...Dortmund 0 - 4 Hoffenheim!! if i were a dortmund fan, I'd be pissed 

Anyways, looks like no one here (except for @Lafu?) placed any bets in this final matchweek...I saw Dortmund ML @1.80 odds earlier tody and i thought "hmm, that's weird"

Just saw it now and its halftime right now and also Union Berlin has one goal scored .
Happy to see Werder Bremen has already 3 goals scored and are in front and playing very well .
Hopefully they keep doing that in the second half and Union maybe scores another goal.
Fingers crossed and my bets will be coming true.

In the other games the score is 1-0 for Union +++, M'Gladbach, Bayern, Freiburg, Leverkusen, Leipzig.
Frankfurt and Hoffenheim (vs Dortmund!!) leading 2 goals each.

Wolfsburg will have a hard time facing Bayern, I'm optimistic that Bayern will win the match with a thin score of 1-2. Especially 3 matches
Wolfsburg last only able to win 1x, while Bayern last 3 matches can win 3 wins. Bayern is still too strong compared to Wolfsburg.

Rashica is in starting XI, as is Gebre Selassie, who was questionable as well, very nice. Sargent, Pizarro and Selke on the bench, but I guess they will get some playing time too in second half depending on the happenings in Berlin. I would have liked Selke to start instead of Füllkrug though.

I placed my bet on Bayern Munich with 3 to 1 win .

Fingers crossed that Nürnberg from second League will win there game tomorrow also .

Final round from Bundesliga today and I don't think bremen will save this season as they don't deserve it after what they showed for so many games ( and I'm a Bremen fan ) and I can't see Dusseldorf losing to Union Berlin. About predictions, I won't do any today but I would expect big surprised on all games as most of them have nothing to fight for.

Can Wolfsburg take points off Bayern today, it will be a really tough game for Bayern. Can Dortmund see a little light at the end of the tunnel if Bayern drop points away to Wolfsburg?

Dont worry i hoping that also and i wish Werder Bremen that they stay in the first German League .
We all know that all is possible in some matches and yeah i believe in Werder Bremen but dont place your bet from my opinion .
We will know more in around 3-4 hours and what comes for the Teams and all.

wow, such a brave move. Hoping your expectations will be correct and Bremen escape from 100% relegation today and have a second chance to fight another day 

Another thing that I just read about in the "Kicker" (German Source) and that wasn't taken into account so far: If Werder Bremen relegates, 5 teams would profit by getting more money from the TV broadcasts. Koln, Mainz, Augsburg, Dusseldorf and Union Berlin would potentially get 2.4 million euro more. Koln would even benefit twice if they can win today and finish at the 12th place in the table. So even if Union loses today, they'd still get that extra money.

It's not really a good point but I still think it is worth mentioning. Because if you say that Koln and Dusseldorf are rivals so Koln would happily see Dusseldorf relegate and don't give 100% today, you also have to say there are 2.4 million (or even more) reasons for the club to win this match today.
 
The argument that this match today will be played as it is an KO game in a cup for Werder is very good one though. Their performance in the DFB Pokal was really on point this season and they kicked out even Dormund. If the players manage to get this kind of spirit and willing to win on the pitch, they have a good chance to win today. Then only Union Berlin has to play in their favour ...

But Werder Bremen need some good help from Union Berlin if they want to have a chance to get into the relegation matches!
And i guess that is possible as Union Berlin have played some nice matches last weeks.
Placed my bet on Union Berlin and Werder Bremen and that they both win with 2 Goals.

Very nice analysis for the game. You got me on board. I have played various bets on Werder today. Everything from simple ML to handicaps and Werder total goals.

That part I quoted above is the one that gives most assurance for this match. It is always easy to play against opponent who doesen't want to win. It just shows in most duels and should be enough of a help for Werder to exploit.

Too bad Rashica isn't available, he is their most dangerous player for me.

For sure , its like an Derby for them because its just an 40 min car driving between them , and Cologne cant smell Düsseldorf.
I also would be love to see Werder Bremen would doing that and can be going into the relegation, maybe against Heidenheim.
I will be placing my bet on Werder Bremen and Union Berlin for sure .

It's all about tactics and Kohfeldt isn't the right coach for Werder imo. Werder's DNA was always to play attacking football. They had seasons where they scored like a Top3 team and conceded like a team that will relegate. Kohfeldt always took a much more defensive approach and thats not Werder. He got away with it in 17/18 and 18/19, but this season things didn't click and Werder is in danger of relegating now after 40 years.

Even with Rashica probably out, they still have Selke, Sargent, Osako, Klassen, Bittencourt, Pizarro (as sub - he will score on Saturday ). Not the offensive power they used to have in recent years, but this bet is also 50% about Cologne. They won't show up imo and have a poor defense, they will want Werder to score (but not make it too obvious )

This is like a cup/KO game for Werder, what happened in the past is in the past, it's just about this one game, which they have to win with big margin; it's their duty after a horrible season and they have an opponent who doesn't care.


It's not in their hands anymore, they can just do their job and then have to see what happens in Berlin And it's not about being right or being wrong, it's about value and discussing things here a bit. You don't win odds of 9 just like that, so most likely you will be "right"

Of course, Bremen has to attack no matter what but don't you think that you overestimate Bremens attacking power a bit. On paper they should have the personnel to score a lot, I totally agree with you here. But they had this potential for the whole season, and still they have the second worst offensive this season with only 36 goals scored. Only Dusseldorf and Paderborn are that bad or even worse. Sure, Niclas Füllkrug gave his comeback against Paderborn but he suffered from a really bad injury (cruciate ligament rupture) and hasn't played regulary for almost a year now. You can't really trust on him to carry the Werder offensive on his own. And that Rashica might not be able to play now on Saturday makes things not easier.

Furthermore and unfortunately for Bremen, they have a home game against Koln. Their home game record looks really, really bad: No win in their last 14 home games with the last win in the Bundesliga on the 1st of September last year, which was their only win at home this season btw. Not a single goal in 9 out of 10 of their last home games. Overall they only scored 9 times in their 16 matches at home so far.

Don't get me wrong, I would love your thoughts to be right but realisically I don't see Bremen here scoring a lot. The only thing that gives me hope for Bremen is that the team they're facing is Koln, which is also struggeling a lot lately. I would personally go for BTTS or under 3.5. But let's just hope you're right and I am wrong, Bremen wins and stays in the league.

No, it is not even comparable. Bayern is the only German powerhouse team, able to constantly outspend everybody else, offer best salaries and compete with Europe's elite.

This will be their 8th title in a row and at the time when Klopp took 2 titles from them they showed their true strength by simply taking Borussia's best players.
First they bought Gotze, then signed Lewandowski on a free transfer and again bought Hummels the next season.

3 key Borussia players, and they could not keep any of them. Bayern was just offering too much money.
