Bayern Munich is a big club, and their defeat to Barcelona was a significant blow. The scoreline was shocking, and Barcelona's dominance from start to finish made me wonder if it was truly Bayern Munich being outplayed in that way. I believe they need to step up their game if they are to be serious challengers in the UEFA Champions League. But let’s not forget that Real Madrid also suffered a 4 nil defeat to Barcelona the next week. I think these teams are not used to playing against Barcelona’s high line. Now that they have experience it, I believe their next match will be tougher.

I don't know how Xabi Alonso managed to pull the stunt he did last season cause they're not close to what they were, their form this season is nothing to boost about and very soon it would begin to create a division among their fans even though he won them a trophy after so many years. Leverkusen are currently 4 points below Leipzig and Bayern Munich and they've drawn for time with one lose, their's a possibility of them losing or drawing another game this week since they'll be facing Stuttgart, a tough team in the Bundesliga, with the way Xabi Alonso and his team started this season, I'm not really sure if they'll be able to defend the Bundesliga title instead it's Leipzig that's suprisenly emerged as a potential winner this season, they're yet to be beaten and are in 2nd place currently, something everyone expected from Bayer Leverkusen. Well, it not too late to turn things around and Xabi needs to work on his squad to make that possible, they need more good legs in their attacking line therefore I left for Xabi to scout more better strikers in the January transfer window.

You're right. Leverkusen failed again to get full points. Everyone must expect Leverkusen to win the match because it is a home match. You can't judge that Leverkusen will have no chance. Sometimes the motivation in UCL and the domestic league is different. It is not impossible that Leverkusen can play well in UCL but they play badly in Bundesliga. I really hope Leverkusen won't performance badly in UCL, too.

Leverkusen certainly needs to refigure what they did last year for scoring that many goals. This season they are having hard time scoring, maybe because they were champions last year, teams are playing differently to them and that could be the reason why they are having harder time.

The defense is always easier for them, because other teams know they are not going to score bunch of goals so they don't play a very heavy attacking football, which means they are just playing in a way which looks to be a bit different on offense because other teams defend very well and Leverkusen has hard time scoring because of this. Lets see how rest of the season will play out for them, but Xabi needs to figure out what he needs to change.

It's very hard to analyze a game as a gambler because your emotions will be the one making decisions for you instead of being logical. We have to understand that football is a seasonal game and during each season, there are transfer of players across various teams. The whole team will look like a new team because the couch will have to regroup the team and coordinate them with a new game plan. Some players adapt very quickly while it takes some time for some of them to adapt to the new system. That is the case with Leverkusen currently. Anyone who thought that a season like the last season could be played again has probably no idea about how football works. Even Bayern Munich under the new couch is undergoing transition while making effort to earn back their dominance of the league.

Bayer this season is not as lucky as it was last season, they played a good match yesterday against Stuttgart and probably deserved to win, but Stuttgart's defense played very well, so Bayer loses points again, and it seems to me that this makes the further fight for them in the Bundesliga too difficult. Even though Leverkusen has been bad so far, but the Bundesliga this season seems to have the opportunity to provide a surprise at the end of the season. At the beginning of season i was ruled out Leipzig as the strong contender for Bayern Munich but surprisingly Leipzig currently can being an the contender for Bayern Munich even until week 8 Leipzig can keep up Bayern Munich and still unbeated and today Leipzig will fight against Dortmund and this season under Nuri Sahin Dortmund still unable to in form even in all competitions Dortmund still hard to gets the winning results so i think this is good opportunity to Leipzig to collect 3 points moreover previously Leipzig has good results while met Dortmund because in the last 5 meeting Leipzig can win from Dortmund 4 times so these records make me so sure that Leipzig can being an the winner of this match and the odds for Leipzig win is quite high to bets @3.25

Despite the fact that the season is still early, I don't think Leverkusen can win the title this year, they just dropped the two points they needed to stay in the race. Many believe that Leverkusen still has a chance to return to the top in the second half of the season, but I don't think it will happen this season. They can at least make it into the top four.


The match between Leverkusen and Stuttgart was boring because both teams never scored any goals. Bayer Leverkusen made many attempts to score; but luck was not on their side. Leverkusen scored in the 32nd minute of the game, but it was disallowed due to offside. Sometimes football is surprising; otherwise, I do not expect Leverkusen to end the match without scoring a goal, as Bayern Munich defeated Stuttgart with four goals in their last Bundesliga game. However, my predictions for today's games are as follows: Wolfsburg vs Augsburg both teams to score, Frankfurt to defeat Bochum, Dortmund vs Leipzig, away should win or draw because Leipzig is still undefeated in the league this season, and Bayern Munich vs Union Berlin over 3.5 goals.

That's much better than losing, this match is quite difficult for both there will be interesting things maybe in the future, sharing 1 point for both is the best choice.

BTW Stuttgart and Leverkusen both strengthened their defenses and although Leverkusen had more chances in this match but they did not get it at all to score a goal as a sign of victory, once Boniface's opportunity was very important, but unfortunately his shot hit the crossbar so it bounced and did not create a goal for Leverkusen.

Exactly, Leverkusen is really bad, they played in their home and have so many chance, Stuttgart isn't really a strong team and they conceded 16 goals, which can be said Stuttgart isn't have a good defend.

Leverkusen mostly draw in their match, this is an alarm for them.

A boring match, even though we know the Bundesliga is a goal-scoring league but Leverkusen played without a proud goal so the final result was 0-0, looking at their statistics they dominated the match quite a bit but in the end not a single goal was scored making Leverkusen concede full points again and I'm sure they must have sharper attackers than their last 5 matches 3 draws and I doubt they will be able to finish in the top 5. Stuttgart played quite tight because they knew playing at Leverkusen's home ground was a test but what they implemented in the match was a good thing, because that way they also got good results when visiting Juventus' headquarters and now it's Leverkusen's turn to be frustrated by them, and I think this match is beneficial for Stuttgart even though it's a draw.

Yeah Leverkusen won't be able to run it back but I wouldn't call last years championship "a bit lucky". They were BY FAR the best team in Germany. Obviously it also helped that Bayern had a bad year but losing 0 games has never been accomplished in the history of the league so they 100% deserved it.
Also, I don't see Leverkusen's game yesterday as embarrassing. Stuttgart is a solid team yet again, even though they lost key players. People use to underestimate them but that's wrong. Scoring 0 goals happen, especially when the other team is defending very deep.

Although on paper Leverkusen is better than Stuttgart, Stuttgart managed to create a solid defense so that Leverkusen could not penetrate them. I think they worked well and I think they intended to play with a defense that would be difficult for their opponents to penetrate. Stuttgart did not get many opportunities to attack, in fact they only tried 4 times. However, even though they did not get many opportunities, they did not let Leverkusen score goals so they managed to steal 1 point from Leverkusen's headquarters. Not a bad result for Stuttgart, but on the contrary, this is an unsatisfactory result for Leverkusen.

It was a shame that both teams couldn't score in the match so both had to share the points and Leverkusen were certainly at a disadvantage in this regard because they couldn't get close to Leipzig's points who are in second place in the Bundesliga table. And now I want to hear some opinions from some people here about the prediction of the 4 matches before I make a bet. Maybe I need a little advice. Because I doubt that the flashy matches are always full of surprises.

Leverkusen will not have another chance to be the Bundesliga champion this season, remember that they came to be the champion last season because they were a bit lucky. Although there are many people who do not believe in my statement, i will still believe in it. About the Leverkusen - Stuttgart match, it was an embarrassing result for Leverkusen in my opinion, i know that Stuttgart played defensively, but Leverkusen should have at least 1 goal even though it ended in a 1 - 1 draw in the end, do you understand what i mean?

Even though the match ended 0-0, Leverkusen played very good football. He just couldn't find the goal to get 3 points. He had a position that returned from the post, but Frimpong's goal was not counted. It was once again proven that Stuttgart played extremely defensively on the road.
Leverkusen left 2 points on the way to the championship. I think it is not possible for him to become champion this year.

Union Berlin started the season quite well, from the 8 matches they have played they managed to win 4, draw 3 and only lose once and of course this is much better than last season where they only won 9 throughout the season, now they are in fourth position in the table, but of course the match against Bayern Munich is not an easy match for them to pass which is added to the fact that they will play away in this match and of course Bayern Munich will definitely play their best considering Leipzig who continue to chase them in terms of points.
On the other hand, maybe the result of this match could trigger a change in position in the standings for Union Berlin in the sense that they are successfully overtaken by Freiburg if Freiburg manages to beat Mainz in tomorrow's match, so at least maybe Union Berlin should be able to get a draw in this match against Bayern Munich, but of course the chances are still small.
