In the first half, Dortmund lacked speed in passing and  mobility. And, in the second half, they lost control of the game. They didn't create a good chance until the first goal scored by Gittens. If Brugge had scored (which they could), the game would change, but Brugge didn't take their chances, and they did. They still won, but it wasn't a fine game to me though.

Also keep in mind that this is Club Brugge, not a major club like Real Madrid, Bayern or Manchester City.
Although Club Brugge is not a strong team but in fact it can provide resistance even though it still ends up conceding and having to admit defeat to Dortmund. And Dortmund actually did not play badly but only needed a few tactical changes in the attack line which was less able to take advantage of opportunities to score. On the one hand this is an early appearance and we are still waiting for the next appearance from Dortmund and I am sure that in the upcoming match, Dortmund will be able to perform even better.
Yes, in general Brugge was able to match Dortmund's game, although on the other hand we cannot deny that Dortmund's performance was far from good, although they were able to win the match with a fairly convincing score of 3-0 without reply at Brugge's home.
What helped Dortmund was Gittens who came on in the 68th minute to replace Marcel Sabitzer, he was able to bring changes to his first goal which motivated Nuri Sahin's troops to score the next goal, in my opinion the man of the match in this match was Gittens.

Kompany and Xabi Alonso are two young coaches in the Bundesliga and so far they are still able to face every challenge that exists, just as Kompany is charged to bring Bayern Munich back to dominate the league, Alonso is also required also able to achieve more than he achieved last season for to prove that Leverkusen achievement last season was not a lucky one, besides that Leverkusen has great hopes to be able to surprise again in the Champions League this season, although becoming a champion is a difficult thing for their, but they hope Alonso can bring Leverkusen to a high level in the Champions League this season.
Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen will both prove their abilities this season in two major competitions such as the Bundesliga and also the Champions League because the coaches of both teams still have the spirit to be able to give better achievements to their teams this season. However, for Xabi Alonso I think this season will be much more challenging because Bayern Munich has started to return to their actual performance so that there are already quite serious obstacles in terms of winning the title again this season.

Yeah the result of this match is very misleading. Dortmund didn't really have much of the game for the first 75 minutes and Brugge looked like the better and more active team.
The 1:0 by Bynoe-Gittens was also very lucky since 2 Brugge players touched the ball before it went in. But hey, I don't complain since I am a long time BVB supporter. 3 points are all that counts, especially in an away match. But they better get some more convincing games together if they want to be successful this season because until now I am not sold they can compete in BL and UCL. The teams they played so far are nothing to be afraid of and the wins ( and 1 draw ) haven't been very good actually.

Better days are close
When Vincent Kompany was appointed as the manager of Bayern Munich in June, many of us criticized Bayern Munich's management decision to appoint a manager who just oversaw the relegation of Burnley from the English Premier League but surprisingly, Vincent Kompany who wasn't responding to the criticisms from the media is now responding in the best possible manner.
Bayern Munich since the start of the season have been immensely impressive even beyond the imagination of many football fans. They've won all their games these season but what's more impressive is Bayern Munich have scored 15 goals in their last two games. Vincent Kompany is now proving that he has all it takes to manage any top team in Europe

What's more surprising to me is how he is able to make the players to play so well and scoring alot of goals. I didn't expect him to start performing this well from the beginning of the season. If Bayern Munich keep playing like this, they might just become the team that'll win not only the Bundesliga but they can also win the champions league. Vincent Kompany is doing a great job already and he's proving that young coaches can do a wonderful job managing a club if they're being given more chances. Last week they were able to score six goals against Holstein and this week they scored nine goals against Zagreb dynamo in the champions league, I think they can score five or more goals when they play werder next.
I actually thought I was the only one that was shocked by his appointment, because I was asking myself if Bayern Munich no longer want to be as dominant as they usually are in the German bundesliga when he was appointed, because he was too unproven to manage a team as good as Bayern Munich.

Though he did a good job at Burnley when they were in the English championship, but they were unable to compete when they came to the English premier league last season and that is why Burnley was relegated, so when he was hired, I was actually shocked, because I was expecting them to go for a well known and a proven winner, but they choose to gamble on Vincent company, which he has practically proven to be a good catch, and if they can continue in this veins of form, I believe that they can be unstoppable in the German bundesliga and the uefa champions league just as you rightfully said.
It is true I was even surprise when I heard the news that formal Manchester City player Vincent Kompany has been sign by the German giant Bayern Munich as there new manager after leading back Burnley in the English premier league to relegation. I believe in football is not every team that actually need a good or an experience manager to couch them and for me Bayern Munich is one those football team  because this team already has better prayers and have been dominating the Bundesliga for the past years now and this players has been playing together so they already know what to do when they get to the football pitch all they just needed is some one to stand as couch and do the necessary things. I can even manage a team like Bayern Munich and the will still perform very well both in their domestic league and the UEFA Champions league.

There is no need to rush to conclusions, there are many worthy teams in the Champions League, and one big win against a weak opponent is not an indicator. By the way, Kompany explained the substitution of Neuer in the second half in the match against Dinamo Zagreb, he said it was a precaution, but now Neuer is fine and he plans to take the field in the next game against Werder. This is good news, because Ulreich has shown that he is not so reliable, and if their opponent was a stronger team, these two quick goals could have become a problem.

What are your thoughts on today's game Brugge - Dortmund?
Conference League semi-finalist vs. Champions League finalist. On paper, Dortmund should win with almost the same score as Bayern won yesterday, but in fact the odds are almost even:

3.4 - 3.6 - 2.10

I think a draw is the most likely outcome here and it will most likely be something like 2-2.

Dortmund won the game against Brugge. It's quite far from your prediction. Though they won a bad game, the final score was not disappointing to me. I took a bet on Dortmund, and it went well.

In the first half, Dortmund lacked accuracy in their passing. And, in the second half, they lost control over the game, this due intensive pressure from brugge. They didn't create a good chance until the first goal scored by Gittens.

If Brugge had scored (which they could after they made some chances), the game would change, but Brugge didn't take their chances, and they did. They still won, but it wasn't a fine game to me though.

Also keep in mind that this is Brugge, it's not a major club like Real Madrid, Bayern or Manchester City.

Just like xabi at Bayer Leverkusen, kompany wants to make every moment at Munich count because beyond the team winning, his career will be at stake in a form that not only that he may get sacked but may find it difficult getting hired there after because he managed a team that got relegated just before Bayern Munich hired him so it's believed and expected that he does even better at Bayern where he's going to be provided with almost everything he's needed so it feels like it's a ground for no excuse so he's got to make everything count.
I also see Kompany's dedication to Bayern Munich at the beginning of this season is very serious because he is very serious in handling the team and in giving the best to all the players in the team so that Bayern Munich can immediately get wins in the three matches they have played and also a big win in the UCL this season with a fairly large score and making Bayern Munich rank at the top of the UCL table at this time. As for Leverkusen, the team will only try to appear more dominant in the Bundesliga and also in the UCL because for this season Leverkusen already has a heavier target than last season.
The big win over Dinamo Zagreb shows that Kompany has great ambitions to win every game with a big score, although the victory has not proven his capacity as the right coach for Bayern Munich but at least it will be a good start for them in the UCL, so far we have only seen Bayern conquer teams that are below their level with can achieve perfect results, But what is a test for Kompany coaching is of course how he can maintain the consistency get to win when facing Dortmund or leverkusen in bundesliga, as well as in the Champions League when they face Barcelona and PSG later.

Vincent Kompany should have done that because he has accepted all the risks since being appointed as Bayern Munich coach so he feels he can handle the club with better resources than his previous club and he seems serious in carrying out his mandate and the club fully believes in the coach and the players also seem stronger than before thanks to the motivation given by Kompany, Harry Kane who last season performed amazingly by scoring many goals now at the beginning of the season he has scored 9 goals from 5 matches if Bayern Munich continues to perform tough like this it is not impossible that the club will achieve success in the Bundesliga and also the Champions League this season.

Nice response mate. I totally agree with your opinion about my post concerning Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany. The Belgian perfectly understands how important it is to succeed at Bayern Munich and that's why he's doing everything possible at the moment to succeed. Bayern Munich's UCL game, he admitted in his post match interview with the media that he's not just improving the performance of the team but also improving himself as well. With his current performance and work rate, I expect him to easily succeed
Of course this is a wise answer he realizes that he also needs development and this is one way to advance the club and also himself, in my opinion he should be considered a genius in implementing strategies for his team's extraordinary victory in the Champions League, of course all eyes look at him in amazement, and they Munich have created 11 goals from 3 Bundesliga matches at the beginning of this season in my opinion this is a good development for both of them, not only that with his strategy Kane also managed to create 8 goals at this time I will not doubt Kompany for the next match.

But talking about all the pressure, sooner or later it will come to him when they have to compete with a big team, will they always be ready, even though Kompany's confidence is currently high but I want to see them work under pressure whether they will always be ready and I think that should be an important benchmark for him and the team to continue to maintain the momentum of victory when playing against a better club.

The journey is still very long, but Kompany has gradually managed to convince everyone with the results his team has achieved, that his appointment as Thomas Tuchel successor is quite worthy. The series of wins recorded have eroded various doubts from fans, although we realize that the teams defeated during his tenure as manager are still considered average teams.

In my opinion, that is not a problem, because it can be valuable capital when they face fellow elite teams in every competition, especially in the Bundesliga and Champions League. The adaptation period is going quickly, as are the new recruits, everything seems so smooth. The consistency that has been achieved so far will certainly make Bayern Munich still respected and will be placed as the main candidate in the competition for trophies, they will also be considered in the Champions League, although he doesn't have much experience there.

And what's more, again and again, Harry Kane has been extraordinary by contributing many goals to the club even at the beginning of this season.
He is a great pro player, it's just that his bad luck has prevented him from lifting a trophy with his club so far. As what he has done with his quattrick in Champions League, it's awesome.
He played for Tottenham in the English Premier League for a long time but the most regrettable place for him was that he could not bring any team achievements for the club despite scoring so many goals. Not only at the club level but also at the international level, he has no great achievements.
Yes, and unfortunately last season where he hoped to lift the trophy after moving to Bayern Munich, it turned out to be a failure, because of Leverkusen's unbeatable glory last season. In the end, even though Harry Kane was the top scorer at that time, he still couldn't lift the trophy. This season, they will be trying harder and harder again to get at least, one.

And what's sure is that, Bayern Munich made a history in Champions League.

Victory in the Champions League is certainly a very good credit for Kompany but of course this cannot be used directly as a form of satisfaction for him because after all now the new season begins and when he is too overawed at the beginning of the season it could be in the middle of the season or the end of the season he has problems so it is important for Kompany to continue to try to perform optimally to make Bayern's consistency even better.

15 goals is cool, but who were these goals scored against? Dinamo Zagreb and yesterday's Bundesliga 2 team with 0 points this season. The only thing that can be said now is that Bayern is in good shape and mood. I don't understand the real strength, maybe Arsenal would have won 10-0 against Dynamo, who knows? By the way, 2 goals conceded at home stadium from such an opponent look suspicious.
Regardless of the opponents they face, it is still worth appreciating because after all this is a very good thing to make the confidence of the players and Kompany as a coach even greater and continue to develop their game.

Now Kompany has started to have a positive impact when compared to the Tuchel era at the beginning of this season of course Kompany is still better but the problem is now the challenge of Kompany is just how to maintain this condition so that it can continue to run well.

Although now he has been able to make big wins and better conditions but the attention is still on Kompany to be able to make their performance have good consistency and this is still a test for him to maintain this form until the end so that the label " Kompany is not worthy of Bayern " is not heard again.

Bayern Munich just thrashed Dinamo Zagreb. Chances after chances and goals after goals. At one point, I was thinking they were going to score 10! But no, they stopped at 9. Grin I think Vincent Kompany just keeps shutting up all the doubters with such performances. They got penalties, created regular chances, and just kept going at it with full intensity. I really liked the hunger in all of the Bayern players.

For a team like Bayern Munich with so many big players, I don’t think it should be a problem for even an amateur coach to be able to manage them well and win matches. Vincent Kompany was coming to a team that has almost all the best players you can need in all positions, I never doubted that he’ll be poor managing the team even as his management at Burnley didn’t went well. I think Pep Guardiola really saw some potential in him for the praises he had received from him even before joining Bayern Munich as their new manager. I just await to see when they’ll both face each other in the champions league to see how Vincent Kompany will handle things more professionally than he does now.

But at least, because Bayern Munich is still getting impressive results in every match so far in all competitions, I am very curious, whether Bayern Munich will still be able to play with good results like this when Bayern Munich will play against other top teams. Because at least, so far Bayern Munich has only played three matches in the Bundesliga against Wolfsburg, Freiburg, Holstein Kiel and one match in the Champion League against Zagreb and I think, all the opponents faced by Bayern Munich are still quite easy for Bayern Munich to win.

Because I believe, it will likely be a difficult match later when Bayern Munich play against other top teams in the Bundesliga and also in the Champions League. Because of course, if for example Bayern Munich still manages to get good results, then it will make the assessment of Kompany good  and impressive. So yes, I personally can't wait for Bayern Munich to play against other team top because it will also be a proof for Kompany and the Bayern Munich squad this season.

One thing you should know is that if not that Bayern Munich didn't perform too well last season, they are literally the strongest in the Bundesliga so any coach can adapt and still manage the team perfectly because ever since Pep Guardiola left his coaching Job at Bayern Munich, the club has been doing very great as it was just last season that they dropped form a little but they are ready to make amends this season with Vincent Kompany and if we analyze his performance so far, he will make a good coach at Bayern Munich even though the season is still very young. Regardless of the fact that most of their opponents are relatively weaker teams but it's still a credit to them considering the high score they get from those games it really shows that they faced mediocre teams and are making good use of the early advantage to got from those matches.

The case of Bayern Munich in the league games so far and also the first match they played in the Champions League cannnot be talked about that much, they are just literally the best in the season so far it has began. I think they haven’t lost most of grit fighting power and quality they’ve always possessed and won the league every season in grand style. The coming of Vincent Kompany is really a good one or them because under him their performance have been 100% great and with the way they’re playing, I’m very sure they’ll make a very solid team this season and could be the Bundesliga champions too. There performance in the champions league has always been great and to have started this great, I envision them for the champions league trophy too.
