No team has done an unbeaten run in the league matches in a two times season consecutively, so I’m not expecting Bayern Leverkusen to be able to accomplish that next season. They can give it a try to see, but I’m not that confidence that they can pull that through if they try. All teams have already seen their potential and will not want to play with them unprepared or allow them to have an unbeaten run for the second time. Bayern Leverkusen have a greater task ahead of them even if they don’t fight for the unbeaten run to win the Bundesliga, the teams they’ve won on both legs or drew some matches with, they’ll want to avenge that in the next season. Next season will certainly not be an easy one for Xabi Alonso, so he should be extra prepared for it.

Repeating records is always more difficult even from a moral point of view. Leverkusen are a very good and strong squad, but even with that, I’m not sure if they can be able to do the same thing they did last season in the Bundesliga, which is the unbeaten record. They can take the trophy, but you see, that unbeaten record is what I doubt because many clubs will come stronger and even do better than what people expected.

Although I know that Bayern Leverkusen are currently one of the best clubs in the Bundesliga apart from Bayern Munich, I can’t still compare Bayern Leverkusen to Bayern Munich just because Bayern Munich experienced a bad performance for one season.
