Nobody predicted beforehand that we would see a different position at the top of the Bundesliga standings. Leverkusen became champions and Stuttgart could finish as runners up, which is something that is very difficult, because almost every season that position is dominated by Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.

But after seeing what happened and several statements that have come out regarding Serhou Guirassy move into the Dortmund squad, it also shows that Dortmund have been approaching Serhou Guirassy for long time, and now is the right time for Dortmund to bring him in.

Yes, that could be the fundamental reason for Serhou Guirassy decision to reject Stuttgart offer and choose to join Dortmund, it will improve his career and also increase the market price and salary he can get in the next few season.

Honestly, Vfb Stuttgart and Bayern Leverkusen really had a good show of professionalism in the Bundesliga last season that is why the both clubs were able to finish first and second in the league table which disorganized the traditional first and second that Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich have been enjoying in the league for most seasons. Stuttgart was a team that performed very well but they didn't start it earlier enough if not their points would have been very close with that of Bayern Leverkusen but however, I would say they made their fans so proud by qualifying for the Champions League alongside the league winners Bayern Leverkusen.


I don't completely agree that Stuttgart will find it difficult next season even though their top scorer last season Serhou Guirassy exited the team but that not withstanding, it was team work that led the team to their impressive performance last season and not really the effort of a single player because without team work, the team cannot make good results.

The Champions League is very competitive and deserves experienced goal scorer like Serhou Guirassy but Stuttgart can still manage the players they have in the squad to stand as replacement even if they don't go far in the champions League but the experience is what they need so that if they have same opportunity in the future they will know how to manage it perfectly.

Sancho has shown good performance since he returned to Dortmund in the middle of last season.
Manchester United no longer wants Sancho because of the dispute with Ten Hag, but now Dortmund's steps to bring Sancho back are not easy, there are several other teams who are also interested in Sancho and the one most serious about bringing in Sancho at the moment is Juventus.

Guirassy was clearly carrying Stuttgart last season, and if he is sold, the club will be without a good striker to take his position. His statistics last season were incredible. Guirassy scored 28 goals in 28 games last season. He was a very dependable scorer, and there could be a significant fall at Stuttgart since the team would miss him.
There is no guarantee that you will find someone who can carry Stuttgart like Guirassy in a decade. He plays a key role for Stuttgart.

These two clubs are clubs that were unexpectedly able to show their impressive performance last season and break the dominance of Dortmund and Bayern Munich which has been a top Bundesliga club for many years. In conclusion, Alonso will probably still try to give his best for Leverkusen in the Bundesliga and Champions League, but it won't be the same as this season.
This season, Leverkusen has had great success, but that doesn't mean it can get great results again in the coming season and you also have to remember that Bayern Munich has always been a favorite club every season, which will not damage its reputation.

Madrid did attempted something similar last season in their domestic league (La Liga ) but they suffered one loss and also suffered another in the champions league too.

I will be most amazed to see Leverkusen get to do or repeat similar result again probably next season or in the future but it will be really superb if it happens almost immediately again but the possibility of such is very close to impossible because other teams around will not allow Leverkusen get to do such just like that. In the bundesliga Leverkusen's rivals this season will be much and tough and in the champions league, their rivals are going bro be teams they are unfamiliar with as they may have not played against such team before since they are not a regular appearance in the champions league.
