Manchester United are seriously considering a move for Bayern Munich defender Matthijs De Ligt.

I think I actually heard this before as well. Don’t know if this is going to be a great move for The Reds. I am also doubtful about this being a good move for Matthijs De Ligt as well. Let's be honest, nobody wants to go to Manchester United right now unless they are forced to or does not have any other options left. Even with for the first time in 12 years Bayern Munich losing the Bundesliga title with Thomas Tuchel, and also the new head coach Vincent Kompany who does not have much of an experience joining, who has actually taken his previous club Burnley to relegation, I still believe things are far better at Bayern Munich compared to Manchester United.

Seriously?! Even so, do you watch Bundesliga? Half of the Bayern season saw De Ligt essentially sit on the bench. Off-form and injured, folks. He was fortunate to have Man U as a choice, not forced to leave.

Ten Hag and De Ligt have a history from their time at Ajax, and that relationship is priceless. Besides, United is truly developing something interesting. Have you looked at Garnacho lately? Kobbie Mainoo? These young guns are hungry. Bayern, on the other hand, is stuck in a rut. Old faces and same old strategies.  Where De Ligt needs a spark, a difference, is Old Trafford. Stop living in the past!

Xabi Alonso is a manager who has been heavily criticized over the Uefa Cup final and, in my opinion, has suffered a great injustice. There are very few coaches who could have achieved what Alonso has achieved with Bayer Leverkusen. It's cruel to judge Alonso, who has achieved great things with Leverkusen, with just one game. Atalanta had a great momentum in Europe this season and eliminated Liverpool. With the surprise result against Liverpool, it would not be a miracle for Atalanta to win the cup.

Xabi Alonso has already proven himself in his first year. The next thing for Alonso to prove is his people management and motivational skills. No player at Leverkusen will be as easy to manage as last year and everyone will see themselves as a star. Being able to pick up the team after the first stumble, to be able to remotivate it, are the missing pieces of being an elite manager. Let's see if Xabi Alonso can do that too.

So far I have never heard any criticism of Alonso performance at Leverkusen, although indeed he failed to win the Europa League championship trophy but it does not leave a blemish for Alonso current achievements, many parties actually praise what Alonso has done so far is a very extraordinary thing in bringing many changes to Leverkusen,  If we compare the quality of the team he has and his status as a beginner coach, of course at first he is doubtful, but in reality we see now he was able to bring Leverkusen to become the Bundesliga championship with unbeaten, so from what angle should we criticize his performance so far?

The failure to win the European league certainly does not make Leverkusen fans and management lose faith in Alonso, and even their want to continue to extend Alonso contract, next season will of course be a challenge for Alonso to be able to bring back glory to Leverkusen, so indeed it will be proof for him to be recognized as one of the best coaches even though he is not a senior coach.

You have to look into this problem more deeply because if you know, this is actually not Stuttgart's fault for not being able to keep Guirassy, but this player already had previous plans to join Dortmund.
This problem is no longer a public secret and indeed selling Guirassy can provide benefits for the club and I actually appreciate what Stuttgart is doing because this club does not limit any player who wants to leave to pursue his career.
The problem with that is that even that they dont want to limit players who wants to leave the Club to other is that the quality of Stuttgart for the next season will be less.
You cant replace a player like Guirassy in my opinion , it will be hard for Stuttgart to get nearly the same striker style like he was there.
Maybe or i guess that they will be not long in the Champions League if they dont have a good team spirit.
Yes, of course Stuttgart will experience a very deep decline in performance when the Stuttgart players who initially really supported Guirassy to help the club compete strongly in the Champions League, it turns out that Guirassy has plans to leave Stuttgart.
Losing a great player like him makes other players feel unsure about the club's future because finding players with the talent to score in large numbers is very difficult.

Talking about looking for a replacement for Guirassy, I remember there are several sources who say that Stuttgart actually secretly wants to get Niclas Füllkrug.
Maybe it doesn't make sense, but for me this could happen because Füllkrug actually also doesn't agree with the arrival of Guirassy who will replace his position.

Is it possible that this could happen?

It is only natural that Xabi will continue to be criticized badly at the start of his successful career with Leverkusen and this is one of the obstacles that this reliable coach must overcome to prove that he deserves to be called a professional coach. From this case, it seems that Xabi haters are only a small part of the fans who feel excessively disappointed when they fail in european league competitions and spread bad criticism to the public.
But Xabi will never take such bad news seriously as he will prove in the coming season.

After being successful in the previous season, usually a reliable coach like Xabi Alonso will continue to improve strategies that are always right to take the team to a higher level. But next season Xabi will be under even more pressure to appear in the UCL and also have to try to regain success in the bundesliga.

If in the end Sancho wants to stay at Signal Iduna Park then Dormtund must be prepared with an offer for Sancho because I think as long as the price is right then this will not be too difficult.

Manchester United are asking for €40m for Jadon Sancho and this price is quite unattractive for many clubs including Borussia Dortmund and Juventus which seems also interested in bringing him to Italy.
Manchester United don't want him to let him go on loan again but they would rather sell him or as they said sacrifice him with lower amount of money once for all. I don't know if the asked price will make Dortmund make a move or not.
It is better Dortmund signs this Jodan Sancho because he plays more better when he is at Dortmund than when he is at Man u,and I can point out the problem to be from Man U coach Ten Hag,who doesn't have the ability to bring out the best talent in players.Sancho isn't the only one, Anthony, Casemiro and the rest are victims of a bad coach, and someone who lacks the ability to get the best out of players.
Ten Hag does not know that England or Man u is not Ajax, where he will do what ever he likes,Man U is a big team, and the pressure that comes from coaching a big team must reach him.

Bayern Munich may have missed the championship after many years, but of course one day this championship streak would be broken. Yes, they did not have a legendary team like in previous years, but Bayern Munich always continued to play top quality football.
But it is not possible to say the same things for Manchester United, they played very badly throughout the season. Making such a transfer does not make much sense for the player, I would not want to leave the team I am in

Kompany said that he does not count on De Ligt, so Bayern is ready to let this player go, and now it is very difficult to say how good Bayern can be with Kompany, since his experience is too small for any forecasts. I may agree that De Ligt hasn't had the best season, but that applies to the whole team. Definitely Bayern still look much better than Manchester United, but if they are willing to let him go then it's probably best to do so.

I don't think so though, ye has been linked with clubs like Juventus and Barcelona in the last few weeks/days. The problem with his move to Barcelona is that they're not ready to match up with the valuation placed on him by Manchester United. I would love his move to Juventus anyways, because right now, a move to Barcelona wouldn't be possible. They have too many players in that role, so a move to Juventus is more likely to happen than that to Catalians.

Borrussia Dortmund also have not made no formal move for him yet. If they really wanted him, they shouldn't hesitated pushing hard for him.
I don't think the arrival of Serhou Guirassy will stop them from making moves for him. He is too stubborn, all that Erik Ten Hag needs is an apology to be tendered towards him.

Sancho is one of the players that will be released by Manchester United this summer, although he performed quite impressively with Dortmund during his loan period, but the bad relationship between ten hag and Sancho made Manchester United have to give up Sancho to go to another team, Manchester United actually want to return Sancho to Old Trafford but with all the problems that occur of course selling Sancho is the best way for Manchester United,  There are no permanent purchase conditions in Sancho loan contract between Manchester United and Dortmund, so indeed Manchester United can accept offers from other clubs that come at this time, besides that Dortmund reportedly wants to make Sancho permanent again but the repurchase price is too expensive to make Dortmund give up.

Currently, Juventus and Barcelona do intend to bring in Sancho and of course the two teams may not be able to realize the transfer in the near future, Juventus reportedly wants to borrow Sancho for 1 season and is ready to cover Sancho salary which is quite high at the moment, as well as Barcelona who also wants Sancho as a loan player with a permanent purchase clause,  But the offer of the two teams seems to be rejected by Manchester United because Manchester United only wants to release Sancho with Permanent at this time.

You say Barcelona and Juventus are interested? Yeah these teams could also be an option for Sancho. Actually he can still be signed by Barcelona in my opinion. I mean if we see Raphinha leaving this summer then Sancho can be signed in his place. He can play on both wings you know.

He is right-footed though which could make things more difficult for him to score on the right wing maybe but he can make lots of assists at the same time.  Smiley

Juventus would also be nice after a manager change. Motta would like to work with young talents like him I assume. Motta likes 4-2-3-1 and 4-1-4-1 formations. Sancho can find himself a place on both wings there especially if Chiesa leaves too.

I have been discuss about Matthijs De Ligt before because this summer he was into Bayern Munich sell list and Vincent Kompany has decided to sell him because Matthijs De Ligt will not into his plan for next season and actually the deperture of Matthijs De Ligt already predictable because this season Matthijs De Ligt was very often to gets the injured this makes he lost his place on Bayern Munich starting lineup and these situations is makes Matthijs De Ligt not comfortable anymore to playing with Bayern Munich so that's why he asking to his agent to look for new clubs and Bayern Munich also will allowing him to moved this summer

Ten Hag and Matthijs De Ligt was cooperate together when they still at Ajax so this factor also makes Matthijs De Ligt considering the offer of Manchester United because he know Ten Hag well besides that the most important is if Matthijs De Ligt is willing moved to Manchester United then Ten Hag will promising one place on the starting lineup which he cannot get if he continues to play with Bayern Munich and it says Manchester United have to spend 60 million for this transfer but they have to wait until Euro Cup ended because currently Matthijs De Ligt still focus to defend Netherland national team

I wonder why it looks like people are doubting the capacity of Xavi Alonso when he has proven that he will make a successful manager in the long run with the way he confidently led the Bayer guys to success. I like men with steeze,  a stlye that Alonso has been able to prove lately. All I can send him is my prayers and Goodwill over a successful outcome by the next season but not to doubt his capacity or see him as an opportunist. He actually worked for the success he got and deserves the accolades.
Maybe you mean Xabi, not Xavi. And yes, the capacity and achievements that Xabi Alonso has achieved through his unbeaten record last season in the Bundesliga has provided quite clear evidence that he is truly a great coach who was once a pretty great player too. So he deserves any award for now and hopefully he will be able to continue with even more records next season by winning the Bundesliga trophy. I have no doubts about Xabi Alonso's progress as Bayer Leverkusen coach for next season after seeing what he achieved last season.

All these achievements happened to Leverkusen last season, but it is very unlikely that Leverkusen will repeat this again next season, although it is not impossible for Leverkusen to achieve it again with Xabi Alonso. Moreover, next season Bayer Munich itself will be handled by a new coach who generally will definitely need a little time in terms of adaptation and other things. So Leverkusen could put this to good use again in order to repeat what they achieved last season in the Bundesliga by never losing until the end of the season.
Maybe it won't be possible for Leverkusen to become a strong, unbeatable team again even if there is a chance, but in terms of performance I think they already have it. They could be a strong team next season, but it won't be easy to maintain their unbeaten record again, because with Bayern Munich having got a new coach, they certainly won't let Leverkusen dominate the Bundesliga again. It would be great if Leverkusen could return to being an unbeatable team next season, but of course it will be difficult because apart from that they have to divide their focus with the Champions League.

with the time needed by Bayern Munich, this is certainly an opportunity for Leverkusen. If Bayern Munich cannot recover quickly then it will be a good opportunity for Leverkusen to dominate the Bundesliga again. because with a new coach of course it takes time to adapt, and whether the results will be better or not, what is clear is that Bayern Munich will do their best next season by not allowing Leverkusen to dominate again. Apart from that, Leverkusen is now a tough challenge for Bayern Munich, even though they have recovered, it might still be difficult to keep up with Leverkusen.

I see a lot of doubts about Alonso's success next season, but they kept the team together, didn't let any important players leave, and are also working on new transfers. And don’t forget that Bayer is a well-played team, and Bayern, who obviously could be their main rival for the championship, still have to adapt to a new coach, and maybe this period of adaptation will be enough for Alonso to try to achieve a starting advantage.

Most people who keeps doubting the success of Xabi Alonso next season are yet to consider wha he has achieved in his first year as the Bayer Leverkusen manager. One thing he did that is good is that despite playing an unbeaten run in the league none of his players are seriously injured and the team is yet to sell any of the star players which should have affected the performance of the team next season, during the transfer market I believe Xabi Alonso will want to add more good players to his team which will make them stronger.

For sure Bayern Munich will be their biggest rivals next season but just as you said the team experienced some poor performance last season as a result of poor management but now that they have a new manager who will be tasked on reviving the team, I doubt if the team will get back to their best performance so fast so I still think Xabi Alonso and his team Bayer Leverkusen still has the advantage to be ahead of Bayern Munich next season if they should maintain their good form.

Last season was Xabi Alonso's first full season with Bayer Leverkusen but not his first season with the club because he joined the club in October 2022 which was in the middle of the 2022/23 season. It was in his first full season that he won the German Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal Cup and also guided the club to their first ever UEFA Europa League final of which they lost the eventual winners Atalanta. The constant debate about the future of Xabi Alonso at Bayer Leverkusen and if he can be able to help the club retain the German Bundesliga come next season I don think is necessary considering his few years as a top manager.
Next season, Bayer Leverkusen will face a more difficult task because they'll be playing in the UEFA Champions League competition where they'll meet some of the best clubs in Europe so I don't think they'll be able to maintain their performance and consistency of last season. That been said, I strongly believe that they have all it takes to still win the league ahead of Bayern Munich

That’s quite hard to happen again but they can try and see if it can happen again since they still have their coach with them and the same most important players that made it happen for them last season. They should not look at Bayern Munich’s coach as their weakness and have a feeling or thought that  they won’t prevail with an inexperienced coach or not not too good to do well coach like Kompany. The football atmosphere changes and if they don’t play at their best, like the one that want to repeat same thing of last season and not under looking any team they come across, they can still win the league match. The undefeated run is what will be the most hard to happen if at all they can win the league again.
To repeat the unbeaten record is very difficult, but Leverkusen chances of retaining the title next season are still very high. The change of managers carried out by Bayern and Dortmund provides greater opportunities for Xabi fleet, and I don't think Xabi will just throw away this opportunity. Xabi is certainly determined to repeat his impressive season, although it will not be an easy job.

Xabi ambitions with Leverkusen next season can be seen clearly, where almost most of their mainstay players are still at the club, I think this is a signal to Bayern and the other Bundesliga contestants. Kompany and Nuri Sahin actually have the same opportunity to bring their respective teams to success, but their struggle feels harder because they have to go through an adaptation process.

Xabi has received recognition from various circles, he has proven his tactical qualities with Leverkusen, and only a few coaches can do that. Last season many people doubted that Leverkusen would be successful in winning the trophy, but in the end they succeeded. Next season it looks like it will be the same, and maybe Leverkusen will be successful again.

Doubting some one who got a great success in his first attempt is almost a very normal thing and shouldn't be seen as a big deal because it's possible in his second attempt he may do poorly and this isn't new in football as we have seen Case as such severally even with bigger teams  and with coaches who are considered experienced , they do well in their first season, but in the subsequent, they turn out to becoming a different Coach all together such that they can't be trusted enough with their performance.

All this pit together is enough to still doubt Xabi at this point even if he has been able to put up a very brilliant performance in the last season which led to a very tremendous achievement which gave home the commendations across Europe. He will become trusted well enough by football fans especially if in the new season, he's able to produce another brilliant and fantastic results, even if he's not going to replicate the exact same results, but a very close similar yet excellent results will do and then it can be established that he's a top class coach and can be able to achieve more as he grows in his career as a coach.

Most persons including myself, hope that xabi becomes successful in the next season especially as he has decided to still stay back at Leverkusen to coach them in the new season, wishing him all the best is the least we can do from this end as football lovers but he will have to play his part technically and strategically to still attain success again this season. He's a very young and promising coach which I believe has got a very good future ahead in his career and undoubtedly will do well.

Another player I would like Dortmund to sign is Sancho,

I support this idea. I also want to see Sancho being a permanent member of Dortmund again. He has no future left at Manchester United. It is because of the tension between ten Hag and him you know. He refused to apologize to his manager and he got removed from the squad with immediate effect.  Sad

Dortmund would also love the idea of signing Sancho back. You know how beneficial he was in the past. He belongs here obviously.  Smiley  The new manager Nuri Şahin would like to work with him for sure I assume.
Conditions at Manchester United that will not be comfortable for Sancho are indeed a difficult condition if forced so it will be very good if he makes the choice to tap stay in Doortmund. But indeed Dortmund's loan for Sancho is only one season and I think it will be very difficult for Manchester United to release Sancho at this time if there is no clause in accordance with the wishes even though his relationship with the coach is still very disturbed for now but forcing him on loan again without the option to make the player permanent then it will be very difficult.

If in the end Sancho wants to stay at Signal Iduna Park then Dormtund must be prepared with an offer for Sancho because I think as long as the price is right then this will not be too difficult.
