Not easy i believe. Actually very hard. Quit smoke more easy. Some of gambler play for money, some of play for adrenaline, some of play for just fun so there is only one way to give up. Find a real love 
What does that even mean ? You're the first that compared Smoking with Gambling and I'm amazed.Being a chain smoker,I know what it actually feels like an addicted gambler.Literally!Gambling is sickness so we r all sick. We need a real life partner. So she/he can forget everything about gambling. Hope we find that real love. I can bet myself for cant find 
That is not true.Finding real love or partners can work temporarily,not in the long run.Humans tend to go back to the shithole they find the most comfort in. To quit smoking and to quit gambling are really simple. There are a simple way to stay away from them. To quit from smoking , you just have to don't buy a cigarette, so you can't smoking. Buy something more important like food or etc. Is that simple? To quit from gambling, you just have to don't playing, is that simple? Yes that is simple. If youreally want to quit, you will, sooner or later.
Even though they try to control their feeling but internally they have feeling that we can lead the gambling if we play today. Many people will try to control their feeling but when it comes to reality it is not possible to control their feeling.
