I think the Apple appstore would never allow coin-based apps like this as they cannot monetize this. Not sure about Android, but you can publish apps outside of their store, but then the market would be small.
I think Windows/web is the best approach for this. Browser-based is probably not secure enough though.
I wonder if Steam will allow this.
