please add an option which will force GMiner to use only -nvidia/-amd GPUs.
it should be easy for you to implement, and now it's a headache to configure GMiner for Beam on mixed platform rigs. the way you've done it is too complicated.
checkout v1.34 beta, it has similar option (--cuda 0 and --opencl 0)

my miner settings when i use normal nicehash (and works no problem):
--algo cuckaroo29 --server grincuckaroo29.eu.nicehash.com --port 3371 --user XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.rig12 --pass x --api 3333 --pec 1

my miner settings when i want to use miningrigrental grin29 (Connection Error: Write timed out)
--algo cuckaroo29 --server eu-01.miningrigrentals.com --port 3322 --user xxxx.xxxxx --pass x --api 3333

i try without passowrd also, and with ssl also same.

works just fine with these settings on rentals:

miner.exe --algo grin29 --server eu-01.miningrigrentals.com --port 3322 -- XXX.XXX --pass XXX

Ok i try again Cheesy

1. nichehash mining - works
2. when i use miningrigrental, with normal grin29 mining - works
3. when i use miningrigrental to work with nicehash pool than i receive this : Connection Error: Write timed out

If I'm getting it right, you are trying to be available for rent on MRR for others and while being available mine on to your nicehash account, am I getting it right?)) if so, what pool settings are you using on MRR for nicehash?

Yes true i connect to MRR and if noone rent my rig i use it for nicehash.

I use this pool settings :

Address:
 stratum+tcp://grincuckaroo29.eu.nicehash.com:3371
User:
 XXXXXXX
Pass:
 XXXX

And this settings good for bminert ( but i prefer gminer Cheesy )

GMiner v1.33 available for download

Tried mining Beam with 1.33 version in Linux, NVIDIA 1080 8GB still gets 'Error on GPU0: unspecified launch failure',
while NVIDIA 1060 3GB works, any suggestion to resolve my 1080 Beam mining bug? Thanks  Cheesy

Living and loving life!!
Hey I was just curious as to if you or anyone knew if there will be a windows wallet coming soon? After the coins mature from mining on grin mint, they expire after 60 days and I didn’t really want to move them onto an exchange unless I absolutely have to. Any advice or if anyone knows that would be awesome!! Thank you. Great job on the miner by the way, I’m getting an extra .5GH with the new update. Thanks again!!

We are not retail.
Who can share the best settings to mine Grin? Pill, memory, core - what is more useful? I see 8+ on gtx 1080ti - how it is possible?

1080 ti is 150/680 -1 card
1070 ti is 150/650 -4 cards

All at 70% power.

Btw, no improvement for GTX1080 for grin29 while GTX1070\1080ti gained about 0.5sol
I can confirm 4% of speed-up for gtx 1070 - 1080 ti.

Hey guys and girls.
Here i have some info for AMD vega 64 users
Msi Rx Vega 64 x6:
For all 6 cards 113 sol/s at "1050 mem clock & 1408 core clock reg edited with driver 18.6.1"
(there is some hashrate drop problems + difficulty above target error for us right now)
but power usage is lower than lolminer alpha right now.
There is hashrate info for all cards in gminers github except vega 64 so i commented this.
Good luck and happy mining.

It’s true, 1.33 uses kernels from 1.31 for 1080, for other cards it uses improved kernels.

Should we expect updated kernels for 1080 in future releases then? Roll Eyes
