Who can share the best settings to mine Grin? Pill, memory, core - what is more useful? I see 8+ on gtx 1080ti - how it is possible?

I use 75% Power Limit, +100 Core, +500 Memory.

How much sol/s gives 1070? Is there a difference between full-size graphics cards and ITX? Maybe someone knows the best versions of 1060/1070 depending on the vendor.

Btw, no improvement for GTX1080 for grin29 while GTX1070\1080ti gained about 0.5sol

i use this settings for zotac amp

https://i.imgur.com/5Y01Upw.png

for 8 GPU you need at least 80gb pagefile and maybe 8 core high-end cpu, even than hashrates will drop, my 5 GPU rig (4XGTX1080+1X1080Ti) uses around 32gb pagefile, hashrates are quite good if you compare with only one gpu running

Ok, there is a problem with NHML: this is how gminer detects cards

NHML detects Nvidia first, and AMD later, so 0-5 are Nvidia and 6-7 are AMD and thus it can't select proper cards for gminer to mine its algorithms. Or perhaps adding parameter that excludes amd\nvidia out of detection will help.

here's new 1.33 build hashrates

https://i.imgur.com/XFvg9Gx.png

let's see how it will perform in log run vs bminer using f2pool, i'm interested in pool average hashrate, well this 3 changes should increase average hashrate in pool

improved performance for Grin29/Aeternity (compared with v1.31)
fixed problem with low fidelity in v1.32
display fidelity for cuckoo cycle algorithms

with bminer 14.0 build average f2pool daily 24 hour hashrate is 31g/sec on my rig (TDP 70%, memory +500 and some core oc) with rejected shares around 1%

I don't have mixed cards but try "--list_devices" and then use "--devices" to specify cards to use.

Tnx, I'll try. Tough judging by my other rig w\o Fury where I've been testing 1.33 so far on Beam hashrate has dropped on pools side - I even get low share difficulty (512 instead of 1024). So, again back to 1.31 I guess...

I've have AMD+Nvida cards in my rigs, how do I make gminer 1.33 use only nvidia? Its messing all up...

GMiner v1.33 available for download

v1.33
+improved performance for Grin29/Aeternity (compared with v1.31)
+fixed problem with low fidelity in v1.32
+display fidelity for cuckoo cycle algorithms
+display miner version on API page
+ Beam mining for AMD cards under linux still not supported, this problem will be fixed soon

Please use Windows 7 or Linux, because Windows 10 reserves a lot of memory.
On Windows 10, some algorithms may not run due to lack of memory or demonstrate worse performance, because the miner uses the implementation for less memory.

Performance on stock GPU settings:
Grin29(Cuckaroo29):
Palit GTX 1060 JetStream 6GB ~2.8 G/s
Palit GTX 1070 Ti JetStream 8GB ~4.7 G/s
MSI GTX 1080 SEA HAWK EK X 8GB ~5.0 G/s
Gigabyte GTX 1080 Ti AORUS Waterforce WB Xtreme Edition 11GB ~7.3 G/s
MSI RTX 2070 Armor 8GB ~6.6 G/s
MSI RTX 2080 DUKE 8GB ~7.9 G/s

Aeternity(Cuckoo29):
Palit GTX 1060 JetStream 6GB ~3.0 G/s
Palit GTX 1070 Ti JetStream 8GB ~5.1 G/s
MSI GTX 1080 SEA HAWK EK X 8GB ~5.4 G/s
Gigabyte GTX 1080 Ti AORUS Waterforce WB Xtreme Edition 11GB ~7.7 G/s
MSI RTX 2070 Armor 8GB ~7.1 G/s
MSI RTX 2080 DUKE 8GB ~8.5 G/s

Beam(Equihash150,5):
Sapphire VEGA 56 8GB ~18 Sol/s
PowerColor RX580 Red Devil 8GB ~12 Sol/s

Is there any way to make the watchdog restart the pc instead of restarting the miner on windows 10?

Not quite.

Also for windows users I have found very useful:
- Auto rebooting the PC every 24h-48h (not that it needs it, redundant if stable).
https://sourceforge.net/projects/windowsreboot/
- Start bat file with system on boot, with a time delay (so that the OC software kicks in first).
Bat file needs to contain a timeout command before anything else:
Quote
@echo off
timeout 20
Place a shortcut of the bat on the startup windows folder.
- Making sure the miner is always running by a secondary 'watchdog'.
https://w-shadow.com/blog/2009/03/04/restart-on-crash/
- Use API for remote viewing.
