Long-term altcoin investment between 1-2 years... I actually do not recommend it because I personally still do not believe in altcoin performance in the long-term. But if you want to try long-term altcoin investments, I recommend choosing the top 5 coins in coinmarketcap. That is the best coin that maybe worth the long-term.
The top 5 coins are really nice choices because they have people that know about it more than the other coins out there right now. If people looked at the new ICO's that are out now they will notice that most coins like to use their contracts for recognition.In one years ago, the ICO's project need 6 months is min time for successful and complete some target in roadmap or listing to an exchange site and reach high price than crowdsale. But look now, just wait after under 2 weeks, an altcoin from ICO's "successfully" can listing to big exchange site and x2 x3 very soon

Before invest you must see price action history, volume, and news. You can't just ask something without see it first, meaning do research. For me you can invest with eth and monero, their price action is fast with higher volume. A lot of news for doing some speculation to get more profit with that. But don't forget to replace stop loss for safe investment. Good luck.

I'm not very sure about that,and let me tell you why,in the case of LTC for example,it was in second place for a very long long time but then it turns out that is now in position number four.

2 months isn't exactly long term, the coins with the most initial success often end up being the ones that fall the most over time. For long term you need a coin that is not so speculative.
Well the altcoin that is good for investment is Xem(nem). I only have insufficient information about this alt because I'm not really trading or exchanging using altcoins. But Xem(Nem), that is good for investment because one of my friend told me that it is really good for long term investment, try searching it and its growth in chart.

only thing that you can trust for long term investment is bitcoin. all the other altcoins will go down in the long term and only it is in short term that they get pump and dumped and can give you any profit.
and always try to do your own analysis instead of asking others to tell you what to invest in.
there was one altcoin called DMD (Diamond) that i think had a pretty good stable price and if i am not mistaken it was a POS system. you might want to check that out because i don't have many details on it.

These three, eth, ltc and xrp are the top 3 in the market cap.
Its stability by mining powers and the community support getting by these are good for stakes for the next few years. Not to mention also their great platforms.
Hey we all know every investor is biased to their holdings but since its the topic of discussion i want to share mine too. for the recent big ICOs, Monaco, MobileGo, and Status and CryptoPing are great coins to hold IMO. Litecoin is a solid one and is headed for $100+. its only a matter of time because for BTC to rise even more, LTC has to catch up and maintain some ratio maybe 0.03-0.05. another great altcoin simmering now and waiting to explode unstoppably is raiblocks XRB. 2 years sustained interest and steady price growth despite not being on any decent exchange.

The best coin to hold is a coin that you bought in ICO price specially if their platform is good, a lot of potential is there thus there is more chance of making prorfit for long term. i just want to invest my BTC with a good Altcoin for longterm investment,, with proof of stake system

Try to check out http://coinmarketcap.com/ and look for the first top 20 Alternative coins and read about their projects but for me all of that top 20 is for long term coin for now is good to buy all that coin because it is on the dump stage and try to hold it about 1 or 2year i will surely that you will become a millionaire i you have a good capital to invest, But if you want to do Short term invesment while waiting for your longterm investment look for the coins that has a good volume in that day because many of investors buying and selling that coins.

There are many altcoins now that have potential. Check their purpose and think about their project if it is a good ICO and can stay in the market. I prefer to you to invest your btc to project of adex. Their project is really great. i just want to invest my BTC with a good Altcoin for longterm investment,, with proof of stake system

You can search for the top 10altcoins in the market all the top ten is the best for that investment other altcoins have a low price and maybe a deadcoin and not will pump anymore so better to invest in the top altcoins like eth ltc etc. Maybe in just a year you already have a great profit. i just want to invest my BTC with a good Altcoin for longterm investment,, with proof of stake system
