Litecoin is promising because they are implementing some new tech and are getting a wider acceptance, plus they are around for years, so they won't disappear any time soon. But of course the sucess of the the coin will depend on the success of the innovations.
ETC looks more or less promising because ETH is an ETC hardfork, so there should be room for them too.
I think the Ethereum protocol will win, but not the coin. Since it is centralized, people will do their own versions centralized on them.

although there are so many other currencies where you can invest yor money for a long time, but in fact you have to invest your money in such coin where you consider as more chances and can improve and where more chances are to grow very fast. Indeed it is a great investment asset but if people had bought it in January starting then they have made good amount of money till now.but i suggest now that people should buy wave,as many new project are using wave blockchain as their token ,it can lead to good investment in nearby future.

Ripple, Waves, ETC and ETH. These four is my favourite. All of these has a good potential for longterm investments. It's like buy and hold thing.

I would give the little ETC a chance. Capped supply, a growing comunity using it, fast transactions, several ICOs will likely use it, i like it long term.
LTC is cool too I guess, if BTC doesn't resolve its structural problems, LTC might take its place.
I don't consider Monero, Ethereum or Ripple as long term worthy investments at all, but is just my opinion.
