Well, we all know that bitcoin has the potential to cross 20k$ again and some analyst including Tom Lee predicted that the price for 1 bitcoin by the end of December will be at 15k$. But on the other hands, many analysts predicted that 2018 is not the year of bitcoin, it will start growing again in the first quarter of 2019.

Actually every situation good time of the Bitcoin world.who like trading, investment as depends on mind access.but personally me now is the good time for the Bitcoin holders , because of the Bitcoin lower price.you can buy and will sale when come back profitable situation and Bitcoin price increase able.
This is really a good news and proves that bitcoin is not dead but is just hibernating preparing for another year to come. I really do believe that the first quarter of another year which is 2019 is gonna be the year of bitcoin not like 2017 but more trendy and more investors to go in. Vitalik has to work primarily for Ethereum. There are different opinions within the Bitcoin network. Unfortunately, the divisions in the mining network damaged the course of the network.

If anything though, it seems that Satoshi trusts theymos this much as he handed this forum administration to him.

I used to think that Themos was part of Satoshi Nakamoto. Because I always thought Satoshi Nakamoto was an organization, not an individual. But no matter who he is, we also thank him for his contribution to the bitcoin community

People are simply following bitcoin news to see the possible next move of the bitcoin so they are not left out in the next boom and some others may be thinking: Is this the end? I think Theymos has a strong connection with Satoshi Nakamoto, he surely will know who he/they are.
As the bitcoin price nose-dive, many investor are optimistic and they are willing to buy bitcoin at a cheaper price like this current price update because they see a huge potential for a long term goal. Poor price performance does not mean that the interest of the investors are dying but they are just waiting for the right time for a bull run.

Speaking about the bitcoin is a good thing but it does increases the prices really? Of course there are still many people interested for Bitcoin who will not give up so easily. Primarily those are users who are involved with Bitcoin for quite a time and profit is not their only interest. They are also well aware that trends in Bitcoin price are changing easily and that volatility is something that you can't avoid.

If you want to know more about theymos you can easily use google to search for threads similar to your question like this one. Or you can look at his profile to read his older posts i'm pretty sure he mentioned it before. It is debateable if these subscribers are all new users that are interested in Bitcoin or if it is people who subscribed to "bash" and "attack" bitcoin. If you look at the childish comments of a lot of them, it just looks like a bunch of shills and butthurt coiners that wants to lash out against Bitcoin. 
And some of them could be bots or fake accounts.

You can't say if the price continue dumped and go to 100$ per 1bitcoin what will we the funds will left by buying bitcoin and holding for a long-term lot of people already loss a big funds last year buying a high price of bitcoin and go to huge dumped in january 2018.
