I think maybe its not yet now for google to display such ads about crypto, i think time changes and might be ok for google to display ads in the future, but not yet now because some of the ico's not yet good for investments, maybe the people might think that crypto is just a scam or fraud.

The ban on cryptocurrency-related advertisements must a temporary bid. As the globe is slowly recognizing and adopting cryptocurrency, any social sites, be it Facebook or google, will be compelled to embrace cryptocurrency. Recently reports say that Facebook has relaxed a ban on crypto-related advertisements. Other social sites will also follow suit. Cryptocurrency is inevitable.

I have talked to someone who works for a crypto news article and told me that their facebook ads has been taken down when they tried to sponsored/boost their post. The effects aren't really felt today but when it was first implemented like google does, the effect was big enough.

I see this in anticipation of Google to reduce tight competition between coins in getting prices because I believe that one day Google will make its own coins and before that happens, Google wants to close all access to all coins and other projects in conducting promotions. so they will not block the step of google coins to get a place in the market
it's just my opinion

Facebook and all such huge social platforms are monopolists and the are doing what they want to do. Their resources - their rules, like in private club party Smiley Take it or leave it.

I think, it is bad news for crypto community. Though google and facebook will lose but this  issue will bad effect on crypto market.
There is no point in discussing one year old new now and even though google didn't even completely banned the crypto currency ads they had their criteria to pick which ads they want to promote.

Of course they are doing this because they don't want new decentralized applications that will replace what they've been trying to achieve. There are even very notable people within the blockchain space who are trying to work with these companies to change how they run things and giving privacy back to the people. Yet of course, this changes course for how engrained data is being syphoned currently.

Highly recommend checking out this article on privacy and Facebook. Quite relatable to your posed topic: https://www.forbes.com/sites/rogeraitken/2019/03/20/is-this-the-proof-that-facebooks-ceo-mark-zuckerberg-wants-no-privacy/#2a55632f436b

I think that these rumors are another way to reduce the cost of cryptocurrency in general. Perhaps they want to enter their own currency in the digital market. Otherwise, if they refuse this type of advertising, they will lose very large financial resources.

for now I see on Google there are still crypto ads. I think the prohibition of crypto ads on Google and also Facebook greatly affects the current market conditions.

why would it be relevant at all if Google and Facebook bans crypto ADS?
its just Advertisements? who advertises, ICOs?
not really a big deal at all

in our opinion ICO ads are not problematic. but we never know the condition of Google when advertising ICO. because we don't know how it happened so maybe Google doesn't advertise ICO, of course there is a reason, and we have never known it until now.

Cryptocurrency has gone far and has gone beyond just relying on just one form of advertisement.
Investors and potential investors , most times know where to search, for good projects and information on them, even if google is not allowing adverts.
Then its like google has not come to the conclusion of the ban PR that they are probably waiting for the right time to do that.
I just feel it will not be done.

Do not see anything terrible in the fact that Google forbids advertising. Soon he will authorize the advertising of crypto-currencies. Just like giants are afraid of the new and don't know how to respond to a new kind of business. This is a huge sector advertising, which Google will surely implement policy.

It must be admitted that the thing that made most ICOs fail to achieve softcaps was banning ads from various large media such as Google and Facebook, I hope that they will immediately end this banning so will make cryptocurrencies performance is great again.
Its affect more people to learn new project since this giants already avoiding it to be shown inside their system, the social venue attracts people interest
without this tools the project will just encircle with same target venue unlike before when advertising is not that hard and can be done all over developers
reached much wider venue of investors interest.

I still do not understand why such a big giant, who has a very large amount of funds, can not afford to buy its territory on this planet and build its information industry there. As far as I understand this company can afford it.

They aid that, because they saw the rate at the the market was rising and perhaps saw that as a threat. It could also be that there were some who were influencing their actions.
Even the media at that time played their part. They were able to spread more FUD, but I feel they wanted to market to crash, but it never did.

Of course it will have a negative impact on prices and overall development because in 2018 almost all coins lost 50% of the price due to the impact of the Google ban which became a valuable asset for the ICO project. Current cryptocurrency can be said to be very bad and the market is still bearish, everyone complains that the top 10 coins are weakening and difficult to develop. everyone looks forward to the backflow of many failures that occurred in the previous year.
I think that this bear market or bearish sentiment caused no ban Google. Google was just another one on the list. First of all, I think that this should have happened, but unfortunately we went to the bottom.

If we do not want to promote fraud, then this is the right solution for Google. Of course, this task is more effectively solved at the stage of the origin of the fraudulent project. All this is not easy, but I am glad that work is underway to create a safe user environment.
