Not now , starting from June . I also doubt it will be totally banned , I think this steps is a some kind of regulation , which will force ICO's or those who whant use google advertise for crypto to get some license .Let's wait to see how exactly it will work

Might be a good thing so those scam projects wont have any chance to get promoted easily,it means these scammers will have less people to target because im sure most of the ICO scam victims are from the google/youtube and in facebook advertisements. So to stop these scammers from stealing people's money facebook and google needs to exclude these ICOs for good.
The entire history of the stock market is full of similar stories. Hardly any scam involving crypto is unique to crypto. Crypto just makes scamming much easier since transactions are irreversible but most of the actual scams are recycled from the past.

Facebook blocks crypto ads: "this is good for the market cause scam ICOs wont scare away new money"
Google blocks ads: "sell everything you have, this is the end!"
And in reality everyone uses adblockers

I think that this is a temporary measure. Do not panic in advance. If the crypto currency and ICO in the future will be legalized in usa, then this ban will be quickly canceled.

Oh no(
in Youtube too?
And YouTube will also limit the display of advertising on crypto-currency projects. But this does not mean that there will be no more mention of crypto currencies on Youtube and Google. Video bloggers will continue to talk about crypto currencies on their channels, no one can prohibit them from doing it.

It will be a good reason to forget all the old sites like Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube and create new sites that will be much better and decentralized. There, they will not be able to influence us and prohibit our favorite crypto currency))
As Binance CEO has stated, Google prohibits the promotion of cryptocurrency as it restricts scam projects and deliberately creates counterfeit, false market information. But in the time to come, these advertising giants will reopen and continue to receive advertising because essentially this activity is beneficial and not harmful to these corporations.

I am not so sure about the channels themselves, as I do not interpret these as advertising, in fact many of them do the opposite, they analyse and many times dump crap unnecessarily.

It doesn't say that it will ban youtube channels so big ones like boxmining can still carry on with his youtube vids. However, those annoying popups will simply sell you washing up powder instead of bitconnect coins. No difference to me or anyone else, not many will click on those ads anyway and just click the x to close them.

Of course, there are roguish projects, but there are also worthy projects. But who can accurately carry out between them differentiation? ICO in itself as one of methods of attraction of investments, a special case of crowd funding, was always a high-risk way of passive income. Then, following the same logic, it is necessary to forbid all casinos, lotteries, Forex, etc. Being covered with good intentions, such corporations as Facebook and Google, or eliminate the competitors, or interfere with inevitable progress under pressure of interested party

This means all those crypto youtube channels will have to shutdown: unbelievable

No problem Google and YouTube, they just ban cryptos advertising and they can not ban cryptos currencies activity, however it is still plan, they don't really ban cryptos advertising. Cryptocurrency community will be survival and usually this problem will be effect on cryptocurrencies price and won't kill cryptos currencies.

What will be next Twittter and Reddit etc?

Youtube channels shouldn't be affected by this nor individual users posting videos about cryptocurrency in general

Reddit has ban been quietly banning cryptocurrency ads since 2016, but i don't think Twitter will follow them, because it will earn a lot of profits for them, as all the other major corporations have rejected it

Facebook also "banned" it but I still see ads time to time.

I think it's gonna take some time to fully enforce it.

Nope. Our ads don't get approved anymore.

I think that advertisement have had low impact  anyway, the best advertisement  is made by popular YouTube crypto channels, and bounty participants, and people usually do some Due diligence before advising  any ICO, this way scam project will collect less investments.

I don´t think so, there are already many comments in you tube and they are still in there, if youtube bans these the crypto people will find another service and it will be to their worst.

Agree. There is already Dtube and cryptocurrency supporters will move there immediately if that happens so I think that Youtube is smart and would not let that happen.
