as suggested two posts down, so my conf file looks like this:

Does this conf file go into the same folder as the "grandcoin-qt.exe" or does it go into the local/roaming profile folder somewhere, and do I have to have some sort of usable username and password, and where to I get/find/create these?

Jup, a decent pump perhaps  . GDC's are extremely cheap, could pay well to collect them.
My guess is there are about 138 million coins and the price severely undervalued.

Hi,

I have following problem with GDC solo mining.

I have found a block (cgminer says 1 accepted), but I can't see any transaction in my wallet. The only indication of transaction is "Number of transactions: 1". But nothing in recent transactions.

It looks like a bug and I lost my first 1000 GDC

Mining this coin seems not to be value add anyway.  I keep getting that it can't get work fast enough.  Guess my 2MH/s system is to much for this coin. 

this coin is running what looks like a really old wallet  still uses the version with built in mining  are there any nodes to add and can this run without irc support on the users end?

miningpool.co isn't paying right.  Over 48 hours I got paid less than the 24 hour estimated rewards.  It's less even using the highest difficulty for the time.
