Anyone is missing 2 or 3 chips to get a full miner? Since burnin will replace broken asics i now calculated that i have 12 chips, from my private ones, that i cant use. If someone needs a couple... its in batch 5, order 17.

I thought he meant that he would replace them on your board free of charge, not that he would supply them. Maybe I am wrong.

I would probably make my order now and paid later when chips arrive in that case when order no. has privilege over payment but still wouldn't do that until web-shop is proven as bug-free.
what is now the latest serious information to this?
privilege is for
order no.
or
payment date?
TIA

Order number. Burnin did this so that people use wire too and dont have a disadvantage.

I'm chasing 10x from Batch 5 Smiley

Sorry, already one wanted 6 another 4, so only 2 are remaining. But chefnet announced in german thread that he either needs some chips or has to sell some. Maybe ask him...

I am in doubt of using PayPal with this one.  Somewhere I seen and I think it is Terahash thread, major problems with PayPal.
My best guess is that safest way for making payment to burnin is wire transfer. Your thoughts?

I avoid paypal where i can. Mostly because these ... killed my account. Smiley I only use it when there is no other way.
You are fine with wire transfer. It doesnt matter when the money comes in but when you ordered at the shop. Burnin decided this way to promote wire.

Wire transfer is probably better for burnin also, because of PayPal charge backs. I would probably make my order now and paid later when chips arrive in that case when order no. has privilege over payment but still wouldn't do that until web-shop is proven as bug-free.

Was there Raspberry-Pi yesterday? I came late to browse web site and while at it, it went offline, so didn't had the chance to explore all options available.

Since i, now and then, wrote that im undecided between Klondike and burnin... and maybe the one or another was influenced from it... i now decided to use burnin for my private chips. The reason is that the actual models are differently good. Burnin costs, with vat, more than double of marto74's assembly cost, but that is back already because burnin's board's can be overclocked higher.

Burnin:
* Overclocking and highervolting via software (Cgminer)
* can be run up to 450MhZ (450MHash/s) per Chip

Klondike:
* overclocking and highervolting when you exchange parts on the pcb
* cannot be overclocked very high except one takes out Asic's from the board to ensure power supply
* Seems to be sensitive against electromagnetic radiation. (friedge goes on and can influence miner)

This is, like i said only the actual design. The klondike wont change for the moment because many assembler already ordered pcb's.

Dont take offense, its not meant as bashing, its only the actual status how i see it. Everyone can inform themself and decide what to do.

Ok lets try this again.
I changed stuff around so you have to register now.
Also changed caching settings that will hopefully solve the issues.
Register here:

When the errors reappear DO NOT proceed with the order and inform me immediately.

Well, let's name it accordingly. It was a failure, bugged shop and wrong opening time given. Burnin said 9pm GMT while he opened at 8pm GMT - some people lost their chance even to compete because of that. I know that there is no big difference between being first and last inside a batch, but still it is unfair.

Now that burnin is about to open his webstore, should we purchase the assembly from him or should we wait it out till we have some sort of confirmation on the chips?

Thanks

I think its up to you. If you buy early you have an early point in queue at least.
