Which miner is the fastest for nvidia cards, 1060 in particular? Can't go above 500 using the latest tpruvot ccminer.

Hey guys,
i got a few questions i could not find any answer for, so i figured i ask here. People might look here right...

I am using XMR Stak, both gpu and cpu, with shitty hardware and about 150 H/s btw. Probably only for fun a bit... Anyways

So first thing is about difficulty and results:
I read that some pools reward higher difficulty shares better, others based on percentage etc - but i can't find any real explanation... or info per pool either.
Is it linear? The value of a share; diff 1000 worth 10*diff 100; Kinda like that?

Then when i hit "R" to print the results, i get that top 10 table. Does that also correspond to the value of my shares?

Lastly about the "Your Stats & Payment History" lookup on the pools website (currently etn.uax.io, but the official one is identical, afaik).
I have been mining for about 2 hours now, results show 45/45 accepted shares,
but when i look up (in my browser) it says last share about 17 hours ago and 0H/s...

So am i wasting energy right now, or is that updated ... in some way i don't get?

Thanks for any effort made to clear things up Wink

"pool_address" : "http://electroneum.hashparty.io:3333",
"wallet_address" : "etnk8m2imoHVmyukShn5QFGj3RjYReZ3yfLsCDg5A7DYdcyey7KttW5A1gENZaZM1JhBkrAsxwvF96L sCMJKeRp58g6KMDkmhV",
"pool_password" : "x",

/*
 * currency to mine
 * allowed values: 'monero' or 'aeon'
 */
"currency" : "electroneum",

hope someone can help Smiley
You have wrong pool address and there is no Electroneum currency. Use Monero, Electroneum is just Monero fork.

is there is a better cryptonight miner for 1080ti?
cause the one you have posted here is not optimized and sometimes even do not working or showing silly speed
so if someone show the way where to search will be glad!

xmrig-nvidia works fine for my nvidia cards (1060 and 1070).
I just use default settings (except for donation, I think 5% is too much).
I have not bothered to try optimizing more than default settings.
My GTX 1070 get around 700 H/s and 1060 get 500 H/s.
(I am using it on Linux, don't know if that matters).

How come a pool hashrate can be higher than network hashrate?

For example https://electromine.fr/
This pool 31.57 MH/s, network 27.12 MH/s
That should not be possible because the pool is also on the network, right?

Looking at https://etn.uax.io/#
This pool: 44 MH/s, network 54 MH/s

OK there seems to be double network hashrate on the second pool so maybe that is the correct value?
But then add these twoo pools togehter 44+31 and it is still higher than total network hashrate. Why?

Where does the hashrate of the pools go that not show up on the network?

I have seen this on other cryptonight pools to, like for intense coin.
Something is wrong with hashrate calculation on the pools or somebody stealing hashrate?

What is average block time for Electroneum network?
I guess it should be possible to calculate network hashrate from difficulty.
The difficulty is how many hashes needed on average to win one block?
So network hashrate / difficulty should be average block time?
Average block time is adjusted to a predefinied time by network by adjusting difficulty?
So calculated network hashrate is block time * difficulty
Yes, it's strange. I like this pool: http://electroneum.hashparty.io/# It has static diff :3 Also don't use those big pools remember for decentralization.

Thanks! By the way no problems at all mining electroneum. First I just compiled the github wallet from source code on Arch Linux (my wveryday OS) just as described on github. Started daemon and let it sync blockchain and when done I started the cli wallet and generated an new wallet address. Then I just used xmrig, xmrig-nvidia and xmr-staxk-amd and just changed pool address and wallet address to electroneum. Mined 57 coins in 2 hours with my 4 kH/s. The coins show up in my wallet without any problems. Too bad difficulty raise so much...
