I am starting to feel like king of complainers about STB, but I spend decent amount of money compared to average income in my coutry on this BOT and still dont see any benefits of that.. I bought this BOT for trading on Cryptsy, (because other exchanges are overboted ATM and so is CEX.IO, the next on list of STB/ATB supported exchanges), which is due to ghost trade issue impossible. So I moved to BTCe and found out another easilly replicable flaw:
Maybe I am wrong, so can someone explain me what is happening here? Why there is so huge difference between STB and bitcoinwisdom, when all indicators are set EXACTLY same way?? It seems to be OK for first look, but look at it cloer and You´ll find out that its money loosing machine..

I can confirm its indeed for 100% related to the API of Cryptsy. All my servers and computers (at different accounts and unique IP adresses) show the same kind problems. Its becoming almost useless to keep on supporting Cryptsy.
BTW i did take a look to the new coins of Cryptsy, but the reported one (TIPS) was not yet inside the API.
So for us this is a sign to innovate and get some new and better exchanges in. At this moment we are working (ahum testing already) on adding CEX.IO to the supported exchanges. Its the most requested exchange based on the poll at the website. The second most requested is Vircurex at this moment so we are gonna have a look to see if we can add that one too.

ive been trading on mcxnow for the last week and there trading platform is a thumbs up from me quick no lag no fake orders ect ect
also pays good intrest 4 times over 24 hour period on your balance also good volume

I think it is only some markets on cryptsy that arent working. Goldcoin is making ghost trades but doge-btc works fine, for example. I donno if its the bot or the volume of trade for doge-btc and cryptsy being craptsy.

I believe that it have something to do with Cryptsy API, because AFAIK other exchanges works well. Suddenly I get STB to trade on Cryptsy, so until its fully reliable its quite useless for me

So as price of UNO dropped recently, two things happened:
1) 2+ hours stucked order finally passed throught on Cryptsy (as can be seen in last 50 trades, please add 6 hours to each trade)
2) STB (correctly) decided to buy, but it was AFTER fullfilled trade on Cryptsy (as can be seen in log) and despite its log DID NOT BUY ANYTHING
I am quite desperate right now, as I noticed that list of last 50 trades on Cryptsy is far thinner than list of trades logged by STB.. So how STB check whether trade occured???

And another nice "feature" - I wanted to take a look into logs to trace any errors and to find out why trades did not happend so i opened log viewer and found out that it dont remember what happened before. So I tried to set to log to file, with folloving error:
Directory was already created this time, but is empty. There is +20G space on my HDD and I also have 8GB of memory. Everything is running under admin rights. Please let me assure You that I believe that STB is capable of great things, but I can´t see them yet.. And I am somehow glad (at least for now) that I did not bought ATB..

This is really huge flaw - STB counts trades as completed when it place order on exchange, no matter if its filled or not. Not only it should check whether orders are filled or not, but there definitely should be "cancel unfilled orders in XX minutes" feature.
This is imho an important check! Is it on your todo-list Stephan?Sinds 27 Januari 2014 there is a new order engine at work that cancels orders within 2 minutes if they do not get filled. And the coin position only changes if the order is fully filled at the exchange, so the problem g0re79 describes should not be possible to exists.
I will not claim its impossible to happen because i am aware there are theoretical situations where the trade-amount is split up at the exchange. Then the order tracking could fail.
I am therefore not 100% able to explain whats happening in the example of g0re79. I have already looked at it and i was not yet able to reproduce it here.
BTW g0re79, i understand you position on new features. But the past 2 weeks we have works really hard to get the benchmark inside the software. And with good reason, if you really want to see the software potential or you just want to see it working then these are the tools you need. In general these tools will make sure you will make much better trades.
So here is proof of what is happening to me - almost two hours stuck order on cryptsy (time offset is +6 so Cryptsys 12:11 is here 18:11. Now is 20:09 here. Look at other "virtual" trades logged by STB, which NEVER happened nor were even sended to Cryptsy..

Yea the 2 LTC buy happened to me once too, and the exchange filled the order in a fractional way.
The advanced trade bot works better than the simple trade bot, for me at least.
Here is trading with 1 LTC, not amazing but no losses:

I have been running the Advanced Bot for over a week and from what I can see all of the bots trades have traded.
I have it set up on another computer and use Teamviewer to access it from anywhere.
One problem that I sent to Stephan is a bot that was trading 1 Litecoin did a sale of 2 Litecoins.
I have 8 bots trading at different time periods while I'm testing the safeties and insurances.
The debug log for each bot is great to go back over trades.
I found last Monday my drop loss was set to high and with overcome fee insurance the bots couldn't sell even though all the indicators were screaming SELL SELL. Looking at the charts I thought why aren't they selling but when I looked at the debug logs I could see the bot wanted to sell but was stopped by the safety and insurance.
I'm still experimenting to come up with a way to buy the big dips. The benchmarking will help but it needs to go back at least a month to be effective.
One problem I found by looking at the logs is that one bot sold at 16.001 and another bought at 16.001 so I may have bought my own Litecoin from myself. The two bots were on 30 minutes but using different indicators. The trade occurred at the same second.
I find the Advanced Bot much better to work with than the Simple Trade Bot.
It will be great when the profit and loss for the bots take into account the trading fees.

Yes, until basic features are working correctly I don´t want to see any new that don´t work either
Today (althought it may be by my mistake or unforseen to be honest) my trading amount set on STB was bellow my ballance and STB was still doing good and profitrable trades, which didn´t pass throught. Althought precisely set STB is on the best way to be a powerfull trading weapon (my today "paper" profits exceeds 20% and I am still just a beginner to all this), it still has some major flaws. Or its only me having this issue of not fullfilled order counted as fulfilled?For example I have 5 USD and 1 LTC. Bot is trading 1 LTC on whatever indicator (does not matter now). Coin possition is sell, bought at 14 USD.
trd# time STB is convinced that Reality
1 1:00 selling 1 LTC @ 15 USD with 1 USD profit selling 1 LTC for 15 USD with 1 USD profit
2 2:00 buying 1 LTC @ 14 USD buying 0.93 LTC for 13 USD (maybe because market price grow, but not important now)
3 3:00 selling 1 LTC @ 15 USD with 1 USD profit I dont have 1 LTC, order did not pass
4 4:00 buying 1 LTC @ 14 USD I dont have 14 USD, becase previous order did not pass
5 5:00 selling 1 LTC @ 15 USD with 1 USD profit I dont have 1 LTC, order did not pass
6 6:00 buying 1 LTC @ 14 USD I dont have 14 USD, becase previous order did not pass
... ... I have 15 USD PROFIT I have 0.93 LTC and 7 USD, no or tiny profit at all
See what I mean? Same happens when order is stuck on exchange due to low price or whatever.. So why there is no check whether trade was processed correctly?
I am not complainer by any means by my basics, I just spend decent amount of cash and time on this, and it did not proove to be any better than free Gekko bot (except for cryptsy)

Improvements I'd like to see over time would be:
#1 Directories for Bots, to have all BTC-e bots together or all 30 minute bots together. Under main menu of Advanced Bot the settings area already has the different exchanges listed so bots could be listed inside the proper exchange.
#2 Reports would be a great addition. Would be nice to show daily, weekly or monthly totals for each bot and grand total for all. The trade bots overview screen could have a running total across the top showing daily, weekly and monthly profit or loss. A report menu to check profit and loss over time that could generate printable documents.
#3 The ability to choose the base currency. I hold Litecoin all the time and trade into USD. If I'm trading with one Litecoin and I sell for $20.00 and buy back at $15.00 I have 1 Litecoin and $5.00 USD. If I could reverse this I could trade the $20.00 and when Litecoin goes to $15.00 The bot would buy 1.333 Litecoin so would be increasing the amount of Litecoin and not increasing USD.
Any thoughts on these ideas to help Stephan find out if there is enough interest to consider these improvements?
