Anyone else having problems with the Bitstamp showing the correct total in the wallet? Also, the bot is freshly updated (manuall extracted update.zip, restarted the server, ran as admin) My bot is 'Activated' and it shows that it made trades in the tradelog. However, go to Bitstamp to check transactions... Nothing. Cryptsy is all working correctly so that tells me it's not a corrupt package or something..

Also just added a new API with the correct permissions, API shows 'Connected'. Anyone have any ideas?

@Stephan224 - Keep up the good work! Let me know if you need another tester!

I am looking for a few users willing to have a look and test the new features. It includes the new "Auto setup" of the Indicators and the "Benchmark capabilities" this time. Its rated as a low risk test, but i want to make sure it all works before the final release.

Please send me a PM here with you email adres so i can check you license and i will give you the instructions.

I am sure this will get a lot interest and please know i only need about 10-20 people or so. Every user gets this within a couple of days, depending on the feedback.  Cool

BTW: Its the downtrend a the moment. The drop-loss (if you use it) holds back trading (until your at the bottom).

yesterday after changing some settings  the trade server deleted all numbers and asked me to add new bot with all previous settings gone. now I have no comparison no more to adjust any indicator. Also as SmokedMolex says I have to confirm after last update no good trades no more. but maybe is because we have downtrend now...

is there a way that the navigation stays expanded? it is really annoying that the navigation collapse after every click on it.

I´ve got a picture! Haha!
@chilla909:
I have the issue when the bot is trying to buy/sell and the order is on hold or partially filled. Then it counts the trade as valid.

@ Stephan:
the bot should cancel placed orders that are on hold after maybe 5 min or @ custom time.

@SmokedMolex:
Since our discussion  about trade settings my bots didn't do any trades because everything went down since Sad
however good thing is no negative trades have been made Smiley , bad thing is I am stuck on high last LTC and BTC buy Sad. So for me that means wait time as I said maybe long until the bot kicks back in... but I really think that cant be avoided since we have a slow downtrend.

This is really huge flaw - STB counts trades as completed when it place order on exchange, no matter if its filled or not. Not only it should check whether orders are filled or not, but there definitelly should be "cancel unfilled orders in XX minutes" feature.

Papasmurf,

The only way to get out of that is to be actively watching the market, power off the server and close your positions manually.

It's a pain.  A nice feature would be to close all positions at market price before halting the trade engine.  This would at least allow us to liquidate our position without taking a bath.

So as it turns out, I'm not the only one that can't really use the software.  .85BTC was a lot of money a few weeks ago.  I hope they get it fixed soon.  I really would like to use it still once it's functional.

It seems like everything stopped working and running backwards after the last update.

Hi folks,

is trading on crypsy possible for anyone here? i ve tried every setting, restarted bot, but nothing seems to work. Weird thing is that the bots are showing trades and profit made without anything happening on cryptsy or even without anything in the wallet. also the bot is showing nothing in the wallet but keeps on making ghost trades. how can this be possible? anyone else has experienced this strange behaviour? stephan, please help, as crappy as crypsy might be, it s the only market supported to trade all the altcoins. maybe the new api could help? has anyone else an idea what could help?

also mtgox is not working for me. at least the bot makes no ghost trades...

best regards

Thanks Stephan. This look like the right move. With a known interface and the new capabilities, the real potential of this bot should start to show...

Also, great idea to have the Auto-tune. Will be very useful for initial set-.up.

As for benchmarking and graphs, how far back will we be able to go?

Thanks again,

At this moment i am trying to go as far as possible. Initially i started with a fixed length of 2 hours back but i already scaled this up to 26-hours. If you start the software then the 26 hours will be directly available from the cache server. So this is the hard limit at the moment, but it is not the place where i draw the line. As you might have seen the bitcoincharts DLL is also present. This DLL allows me to go back for a much longer period. I am planning on making use of this DLL so benchmarking on very long periods becomes possible to. (please do not expect i have this working directly, the entire benchmark project exists out of 3 parts. First the basics, then the tuning and then the upscaling)

@Stephan:
by looking at the depth field it was exactly wht I thought would be nice to be able to be modified by user. In this way you can define if the bit reacts on 2, 3 or 4 signals ?!???  Grin

This is a great idea but i believe it will make things very unclear. The problem that will raise is that you are unable to maintain control of whats happening exactly. I have tried such a concept here and i got results i did not expect. I totally lost the feeling of control because of it.

As a replacement i designed the progressing of separate buy and sell signals per indicator. This concept comes very close to what you suggest, but it is not course not the same.

@Stephan,

there's a bug with btc-e api keys. This usually occurs when i visit bot edit page. I've specified keys for btce and when i go to btce settings it says connected, but if I visit wallet overview or bot edit page it show nothing.

Log says: 2014-13-02 04:26:10.701   |ERROR|   api key not specified

At this moment i only have a few users who report issues at Cryptsy (as always  Cry ) . But not other exchanges, so it should be operational.

Now BTC-e have api problem, because under DDOS attack

Confirmed. (so worries, the software can handle this kind of situations. Trading will get on hold until the attack stops and then it will resume as usual)

Edit:
i just a finished a article of how the timespan (timer, updatespeed) impacts the trade signals produced by the indicators. Of course this description is based on the benchmark i am working on right now, but is shows very clear the effects of the timespan. I recommend to have a look, i do believe this is usefll to create a better feeling what the impact is.
