Frankly speaking, I think that the majority of people who are hackers today are more likely to show steep steps to identify bugs that will help improve systems in the future, but it is expensive, but we need to develop.

It's another reason to invent modern counter measures! Hackers activated few years ago, as they understood that crypto sphere can bring them a lot of money...

To you #80 dollars might be small money but for the hacker it might be big money for the hacker, I think the important question is how was the hacker able to hack into your wallet, maybe you should share with us so that we can be more careful.

I think this story is no longer about a bad hacker, but about a failed or unlucky hacker. He could have gotten into any other account.

It's really funny. It seems that bad times are experienced not only by hunters and investors, but also by hackers.

Just want to share my experience for a week ago.my wallet was hacked  by a poor hacker  in my opinion because in my wallet not more than $200 and the hacker was hacked only $80 when eth for the gas  transaction was run out.very so sad when we waiting for the best price and i will sell it but it was hacked
Sorry, but I do not understand what are you want to tell us. If you have around 200$ in Ethers, he was able to withdraw everything because gas is paid in Ethers, so I do not understand that why are you talking about not enough gas for transaction.

I believe that there can be only 2 possible reasons.
Or you were hacked by a social engineer, or some newcomer, for a real hacker would have pulled every penny.

So you assume the hacker was poor based on the coins he stole from your wallet?
If you had 1 million ETH,the hacker probably would be a rich one. Grin
I'm sorry that you were hacked, but the hacker's wealth doesn't matter. All the hackers are kinda "poor".If they had a stable legit income, they wouldn't  deal with scamming people and other illegal stuff.

And I think hackers are carried away by the desire to hack and steal. They're so self-affirming. It is ridiculous to say that they steal money because of poverty.

I don`t think, that all hackers are poor people, maybe it is a full-time job for him and everyday he hack many wallets, so it can be a good sum of money in all.

A hacker is a hacker no matter the amount stolen. The aim is to steal from you your hard earn coins and he has achieved that.

Lol! Hackers steal everything they can and they wish to. I dont think the hacker that hacked your account is poor. Yours maybe his 100th account hacked, he just happened to find it easy to hack probably. Well, 200$ can be a residue income for him. Next time be careful not to be hacked again.  Smiley

Maybe you should be grateful because not everything was taken by the hacker. If everything was taken by the hacker you might cry of your losses.
Or maybe the hacker will come again to take the rest that the hacker didn’t take before. So be careful because the hacker know your security key is easily hacked by the hacker.

I'm sure you are the poor one here bro, since he already has an access to you what i still don't understand why he's a poor hacker, or do you dash him your private key yourself? you are the one who need to be more careful about where you goes around with you wallet access. Imagine all you have there is more than that and assuming he also got away with 40% of $10K will you still call him a poor hacker.? he's only trying to be nice i think

Sorry to hear that such bad thing happened. But you need to be more careful with your private keys and stay away from strange websites. Just install a good anti-virus software and always be aware of sharing your private information in the web.

the wallet is actually hard to hack, in fact I think the percentage is only 0.1%. who is in full control is us, of course we only know the private key / mnemonic of the wallet. so in my opinion it's also your fault in securing a private key. This sensitive thing also happened to me about 1 year ago

Every wallets out there are definitely strong and secure.
Regarding his case, it looks like he previously visited a phishing site where he accidentally entered his private key.

maybe it is your misfortune, it is very difficult to say you are in an area of disadvantage, but in my opinion you have to stay motivated, there are still many mysteries in this cryptocurrency space

Hacked by some hacker is always depressing, in your case you are feeling sad for hacker that is something strange. It is your hard work money which you should have earned by working for hours. We should be conscious to safe our wallet at any cost. It is warning for you as your wallet is at hackers eye & he can steal more money in sometime.

This is the most meaningless assumption i ever heard. The amount hacker hacked doesn't show he is rich or poor at all.
