I want my batch 2 refund before the ponzi collapse. Has anyone cashed the check and it cleared yet?
Knowing the current mood, a Batch 4 has already publicly stated he is trying to get his refund.

I for one do not advocate Batch 2 to 4 saying anything publicly about refunds. Batch 1 is first in line and they must "cash out" first before they go broke.

Batch 2 through 4 can have whatever is left of the company after Batch 1 is done with their own refunds.

-----------------------------

Mods could we censure Batch 2 through 4?

(Yes, I am half-trolling....half serious.)

We need an orderly evacuation of funds from the HF accounts. Thankfully, knowing HF, they will ignore everyone beyond Batch 2.

The crazy thing is that I nearly bought from BFL I actually ordered a monarch but did not go through with the sale after reading all the negative reviews about the company, so here I am thinking what a close call it was, and was relieved that I did my homework etc. I did not think for a minute that I would be jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire!!!

Here I thought that this company would be actually be better...

I`m guessing this isnt it, and becoming another BFL situation?

Non batch 2-4 got a refund, yet, as far as I know.
And non of batch 1 USD-paid orders either.
But try your best! They clearly don't deserve your money.

I am also a batch 4 customer, really kicking myself for ordering now, I went for the upgrade kit too.
I have been trying to get a refund and paid in Dollars exchanged from UK Stirling.
I modified their official refund and release form for a batch 4 customer.
I sent it to [email protected] and Erin (customer support manager) acknowledged receipt but has not confirmed if I will actually get paid out. I have sent several emails asking but no reply.
It is really frustrating that you give what appeared to be a legit company your hard earned cash for a product that may never come and yet the don't even have the curtesy to reply to a few simple questions!! Rant over!

When did you order batch#4?

+1

I'm new to the party. Ordered a BabyJet from Batch 4, found this forum as I was scouring the internet for any updates. Guess I should have looked harder before ordering...

Don't worry, I ordered a Monarch from BFL too, because what are the odds that both will be problematic...

By the looks of it, I may go back to not taking financial risk.

So I don't get it.  Is Amy spending her time manually assembling and tweaking a Sierra every few days and then sending it to DeadTerra?

This seems like a pathetic use of her time if the company's objective here is to actually ship. (yeah, yeah, I know)

Vocabulary Correction Notice

So guys, Re: What does Several means:

My apologies to DeaDTerra, then, it is more than 2 indeed.
I still don't understand why he announced "several" instead of "4".
People need exact figures and transparency, in this huge mess.
This was due to that last time I spoke to Willem, we had two Smiley
When I called him to make the second post we had four ^^

So I decided to go with several in case we get more xD
I will try to be as exact as possible in future updates.

To initiate an educated discussion from qualified individuals on the viability of the installation and further to attempt illumination for those who don't know better or can't comprehend what they read.

I like big words too.  This isn't the thread for your BS ramblings, if you have some valid input then go to the iCEDRILL thread and harass them.

The offer of buy out cheques is just a delaying tactic. The cheques may be bad, and then the wrangling about why will cause more delays.

PURE GENIUS

I think i will let HF doing his job here for a few days.

If you had just finished sending out a bunch of buy-out cheques to customers hoping that they would take the settlement but almost no one is falling for it, what would you do? You need to create fear of loss in people; that if they don't get out and cash those cheques right now there won't be anything left.

Following a quick review of the photo, my professional critique of the installation is as follows:

FAIL

1  Side vents are 50% obstructed by mounting brackets on open side.
Comment:  Rack, shelving modules should have been employed instead of mounting brackets.

2  Side vent between units appears fully obstructed (Rack to Rack)
Comment:  Poor design, lack of knowledge and planning.

Look closer, there is an air-gap.
Quote from: Gandalfs Mentor
Insufficient, either exhaust from one unit will buck the other, or they'll starve each other.

3  Bottom Unit in rack 1 is not readily accessible ~the unit above it must be removed to service the bottom one. (We don't put units on the bottom... (Dirt, physical damage, et cetera) start from top down.
Comment:  Poor design, lack of knowledge and planning.  Guess there is a first time for everything...

Yes it is.  Again, look closer, the lowest unit is raised.  You can tell by the shadow under the rear corner.

Yes my blind protagonist, it is raised; not raised enough to clear the racks lower front floor bracket.

4  Rack density does not permit ventilation between units, again amateurish and problematic lending to sever thermal issues down the road that will undoubtedly require considerable configuration.  Problem will likely present when they continue to fill the racks if they follow the same installation format.

Guy, you need to get your eyes checked.  Only the first rack is secured.  The rest are floating.
Quote from: Gandalfs Mentor
Really?? Are you certain? I guess so, the first rack is secure; was it from reading what I wrote or looking at the picture genius?  You even responded to the next statement where I wrote it, Duh!

For what its worth, this photo may be old ~except for the end rack units, the rest are not aligned or properly secured, looks like it may have been taken during the build itself.

Then what is the purpose of your "professional critique" of the installation?

To initiate an educated discussion from qualified individuals on the viability of the installation and further to attempt illumination for those who don't know better or can't comprehend what they read.
