If they "test" for 24 hours, that is 10% of their warranted lifespan... 8 hours would probably be sufficient to know if it is working/stable.

totally agree... it would be unlikely for hashfast to be mining with customer hardware when customers have got pitchforks and torches outside the castle. there is little to no chance that this is a hashfast address. it just much too open... its the number one contributor on eligius. why would they be operating a 'secret mine' so openly. much too blatant (thus extremely unlikely to be them) !
although i do wonder what happens during their burn in tests... they must mine somewhere. i wonder, even if the burnin was just a few hours for each miner... i wonder how many bitcoins could be earned doing legitimate burnins on 550 batch 1 baby jets.
If HF is already mining, they could be part of the reason for the growth of the Unknown-part on blockchain.info's Hashrate Distribution last 5-7 days:

If HashFast was mining with your hardware (which I'm not even remotely suggesting), they wouldn't need a pool at all. It would be highly unlikely a pool would be involved.

Gateway/Steve is highly involved with eligius and has been doing website work(?) for Hashfast.

The company would be relaying that the machines are in the final stages of production and are undergoing burn-in/testing for a batch of X for Y hours and shipping will commence shortly. But lately like all things HF, they have been silent about anything concrete.
It could also be their own "private" allotment of chips... but I think that would be done on a private pool (like Bitfury).
The reason why it is all hashing against 1 address is because the testing firmware is blown onto the sd card and powered up... they don't need to change anything for the test run.

I would applaud them if they managed to get a bunch of units mining and started mining. Then maybe they would pay refunds in B instead heading for bankruptcy and litigation.

Sometimes pool payouts come from the 1Stats address. I have used Eligius for the past few months for a portion of my hashrate and have seen this multiple times.
I am not advocating the address is HF, however, as noted above.

Just to clarify, this transaction occurs when WizKid does a Manual Payout. It doesn't mean they got paid by donations. It just means that the payout didn't come from newly mined coins.
It doesn't mean anything regarding who that account belongs to.
Don't mistake this as me thinking it is HashFasts account. I personally have no opinion on the matter as there is no proof one way or the other.

What game are you playing? You post an address without any empirical evident of it being HF's, claiming that is probably the HF one, and after that people starts to have legitimate doubts, you demand for proofs?

Not only that they where mining with our gear, also they pushed the next diff around 2%
