Has anybody tried to call them and ask them whats the situation?

Getting cold feet? Wink Why? You were cold blooded in the past.

it's indeed a sad situation for us all, including and probably first and foremost for bitmine.ch.

Everything depends on the delivery of the Avalon chips, but nobody knows if and when this will happen.

A price reduction, in what form ever, would be appropriate, because these machines now aren't the cashcows we paid for anymore.

You must be kidding!

From the start of this endeavor it was obv that the biggest risk would be a delay of avalon chips.

LOL! You seriously compare Bitmine to Hashfast?

Bitmine did just build Miners with Chips from Avalon. Any therefore it was obv that Avalon would be the biggest risk.

It was pure asshole bullshit imo to try to let Bitmine pay for the faults that were obv done by Avalon!

And regarding cold feet. I dont like the situation thats it.

And apart from that i think its pathetic to whine the whole day long about hashfast not communicating. But on the other hand not even once try to call them and ask them whats going on.

So i am asking: Has anybody called them?

Hi All

Apologies for the quietness, we've been in contact with Hashfast about the new delivery schedule over the last few days.

We'll have an updated delivery date from them on Tuesday and will share it as soon as we get it.

Hey Icebreaker, didnt you say something about some news on tuesday regarding delivery? Have they contacted you?

You're thinking of IceDrill.

IceDrill Will is negotiating with HashFast for some consideration/compensation and said he'd make an announcement today.

Ah, OK.

Well, we got 2 options.

1. Wait and accept that our money is lost possibly receiving our miners in the future with a very high negative ROI.
2. Stand together, complain to the FTC, lawyer up, and hold them accountable for not keeping their promises.

Number Two isn't an option until after Dec 31, the guaranteed delivery date, and only if HashFast then refuses to issue refunds.

I don't know why this simple fact is so difficult for so many to grasp.  The Dec 31 date might be in so-called fine print but it's written in plain English, not Greek or Klingon.

Option Three:  Stop whining and come to terms with the fact that there is no reward without risk.  Watch the price of Bitcoin go to the moon and look forward to a healthy ROI in fiat, if not BTC.

I expect all vendors to be watching each other closely. It simply makes good business sense.

If a competitor starts shipping a 1.2TH product for $6.3k and you have nothing competitive, I would think you'd want to hear about it right away.

Why are all products that are currently shipping priced so high? Because there is no competition. A shipping 1.2TH Sierra for $6.3k (or BabyJet) would kill current sales for KNC, BitFury, and BFL unless they react (and quickly) by slashing prices. All of these vendors need to be vigilant or risk losing significant business.

Not sure why BFL is so interested in this thread.

It is also telling that Inaba assumes everyone else is always lying that is called projection.

Last I read BFL still had not delivered 3 of 3 units per minirig orders and were shipping them piecemeal (1/3rd of ordered hashrate at a time).

So either
a) BFL finally caught up to 1 Jan (only 10 months later) in which case I guess that deserves a cookie.  It wasn't a lie simply a mistake as I don't track BFL every word every day.  Most people would say "your are incorrect we have shipped all of 2012 orders".

OR

b) Inaba is doing his classic twist and manipulate words.  BFL shipped minigrigs as three 500 GH/s units.  At one point they had shipped one "sub unit" per customer but not the full ordered amount.  I guess Inaba would call that "shipping all orders".  Most people wouldn't.

Either way I don't really care but I find it interesting that BFL seems to read this thread daily.   Worried?

Just checked BFL they seem to be up to april of 2013. Good thing that estimation of all back orders would be shipped by end of September. Id figure November and even that is pushing it.

Hell?
That probably is the least of your worries.  BFL hasn't even shipped all minirigs from last year.

One more lie, added to the books!  I will never understand why, with lots of legitimate complaints people have against BFL, some people feel the need to lie about it and make up information.  It's absolutely mind boggling.

Its funny to hear you calling everyone a liar, when you are the biggest one in this community. All i hear from you is verbal diarrhoea. Frankly you wouldn't be the most hated person around here if you were a little nicer and didn't have such a fucking attitude.

By the way, the difficulty has just grown by 30%, not 50% (what cedivad feared).
We are in line with another +100%/month, aren't we?
Even if the growth is calming down, this (relatively) good news is unfortunately alone...

BFL should be shipping about that time (we'll see).

Australian Business Number (ABN) is required by all business's in Aus, you cant trade without one.
That being said its entirely possible its some one working out of a garage, but i doubt it.
either way you can tell alot from a companies ABN and since everything else seems to be under NDA, even the NDA is under a NDA ill take what i can get

Fair enough.

Option 2 is the best as my point of view.

Taco ask hashfast what part of the asic is being developed in Australia and what the ABN/ACN number of the company is.
Also remind John under Australian Consumer Law no Australian company can refuse to give out their ABN/ACN number, it also cant be hidden by an NDA.
Id ask myself but my emails get ignored.

As I understand it just because some part of the asic was "developed" in Australia doesn't mean there's an Australian company with these ABN/ACNs you speak of.  It's entirely possible whomever is working from Aus is 'telecommuting'.

Can't you simply ask Ciara and Seasonic for confirmation of  the announced deals?

They will either deny (and you will have more incentive to take pichforks/lawyers)
or confirm (and you will breathe easier).
