I guess when your business practices are less than ethical

amoral scam garbage with the appropriate job qualifications

tends to be attracted to your operation.

Please note certain members of Gaw admin are involved in this site

so maybe the hashie scam was created to draw attention away from bigger GAW scam ?

it's a trap!

They didn't miss any chance to mention Gaw and XPY are scam. The announcement of frostcoin sounded like a parody of Paycoin.

bbit is not BitJane, it doesn't fit at all...

However the bbit user that was admin of Hashie and promoted it is an old user of btctalk : https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/bbit-20968

That is probably the one we are looking for.

Personnaly i think bbit is an old account of Matt himself on Bitcointalk seeing that the account promoted sites linked to his email.

Who knows. Look bit Jane stated in her interview that matt is partner of bbit. So she personally knows both. BTW that page with inreview has disappeared from her site. Luckily  there is wayback mashine

So why she or her site admin tries to cover  scammer?

Maybe someone remembers how the hashie crew here was gloating

about how Josh Garza supposedly had said that hashie was ahead

of the times or something to that effect.

It seems to fit very well actually

So who is bbit?

Look here http://bitcoinchangeclub.org/blog/tag/bbit/

As one can notice there is  bbit link on http://bitcoinchangeclub.org/blog/tag/bbit/   page and http://bitchangeclub.org/ URL behind the link (quick redirect tp bitcoin org) . So looks like bbit is abreviation for bitcoinchangeclub

The Exutive Director of bitchangeclub.org is Jane Kreisman known as  Bit*Jane http://bitcoinchangeclub.org/about-us

(http://bitcoinchangeclub.org/files/2014/06/BitJane.jpg  here is she)

She advocates both GAW and Hashie on various sources.  http://bitcoinchangeclub.org/  is all about GAW and Hashie. Nothing more

She  knows both Sahra Hall (presumably our Queen Elsa) and Matthew Myrtle  (presumably Hashie official)

Is BitJane  mysterious bbit?

here is the part of hashie chat code:

rivets.binders.user = function(el, value){
      if(value == "admin"){
         el.innerHTML = "<Hashie (Official)>";
      } else if(value == "cryptoassets"){
         el.innerHTML = "<bbit (Official)>";
      } else if(value == "QueenElsa"){
         el.innerHTML = "<Queen Elsa>";
      } else {
         el.innerHTML = "<" + value + ">";
      }
As one can see only three persons have admin rights, ie Hashie (Official), bbit (Official) and Queen Elsa

A little sleuthing showed that Bitcoin Jane Kreisman uses an Administrator named Dr. Paul Coates, http://bitcoinchangeclub.org/about-us/

Mr. Coates, looks to have been involved in:
a PayPal billing scam back in the 90's http://bruner.dreamhosters.com/2004/07/new-paypal-spam-scam/, where he ran a bondage podcast that was blind billing people
a Second Life property scam in the 2000's, http://forums-archive.secondlife.com/130/2a/106692/2.html
and is currently turning his existing website into a cloud hashing service, www.signaturenetworks.net

I also stumbled upon his foundations for working dogs and a Hashtalk posting for a golf cart donation fund. His Facebook page shows him driving a golf cart and walking with a cane and dog.

Excellent sleuthing!

I am not fully content on this as it basically does not bring any difference. We can not use btc balance so in practice nothing has changed....

only one difference is that we know how much we have frozen... for people who just invested in and are willing to wait is ok, but there are others who partially or fully based their businesses on this investment and freezing up their funds may result in in-fluency....

I think there should be some reimbursement for this, as T&C were saying that over 3 days there will be 0.02% per day on top of the dividend payout ....

Don't blame AMHash for this, we are all acting in good faith.

we are on correct track.  http://bitcoinchangeclub.org/blog/tag/bbit/ page with info on hashie owners has been deleted today. But google comes in handy

All page content is cashed http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://bitcoinchangeclub.org/blog/tag/bbit/

Way Back Machine keeps it also for history
http://web.archive.org/web/20141026094322/http://bitcoinchangeclub.org/blog/hashie-co-launches-free-cloud/

History must know its "heroes"

Just a few sentences from bitJane's an exclusive interview with the owners of Hashie.co

"Hashie.co is owned by bbit partners Sahra Hall and Matthew Myrtle, and some smaller stakeholders. While they launched only two weeks ago, the owners have been in the Bitcoin community since 2011 and 2012 respectively."

Apparently bitJane was in close contact with both scammers. Why she tries to to cover their traces?
