asus rx570 expedition, 8x all hynix memory
bios edited by one click timing, core 1100, memory 2022, -181 undervolt @29.1 megahash eth, 830 cryptov7 monero
8x power draw at wall 1020 with all other parts of system
each gpu draws 80 + 35 watt for risers I guess

I would not suggest to use BIOS from another graphics card, even if it the same GPU and memory. Something can go wrong even if you use a proper BIOS. Imagine what could happen with a wrong BIOS. I guess that some people managed to do what you want to do, but... it's too risky IMHO.

Guys does a bios for a modded msi 570 8G micron work on an asus 570 micron 8G assuming the latter can hold the former's OC?

I know that usually it's not the best idea to change anything if everything works OK, but I recently switched from "Claymore 11.0 + Catalyst 18.2.1" to "Claymore 11.5 + Catalyst 18.3.1" and hash rate increased for approximately 0.6 Mh/s per card (from 28.7 to 29.3 on RX570). It's not much but it's free so it's better than nothing Smiley
All settings are the same as before so if you are using some old drivers and miner, maybe you should try new versions.

Just putting this out there, as I did a first time BIOS mod on my first rig.

I was getting 24.5 MH/S while running my 5 card rig.

MSI Armor 570 8gb 3 of these and 2 of the MK2 versions. I used the BIOS on this forum and applied it to see.

https://anorak.tech/t/msi-rx-570-armor-oc-8gb-micron-memory/60541

I am now getting in the range of 30.5 MH/S

I still haven't gone over everything with a fine tooth comb but was ecstatic, as I thought I lost the memory lottery when I saw all my cards were Micron memory. In the end it was like adding another card to my 5 card rig with the improvements I've seen so far.

Hi there miners!
I recently started to mine Ethereum a month ago, but I have a problem and I think maybe you can help me with an advice.
My rig has 4 Sapphire rx 570 pulse 4 GB with Elpida mem.
I modified the BIOS in SRBPolaris with custom timing found on this forum.
I raised the mem freq to 2070 to 2120 (depending how much the card was able to handle).
I set the core to 1150 and the voltages to 850.
I am using Claymore 11.2 with only this in the start.bat:
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool pool adress -ewal wallet.adress -epsw x -dcri 6
Immediately when i start the miner it gives me some errors in hwmonitor (mostly under 10 errors), but after this it gives me none.
My rig runs at 124.9mh and i never had a single rejected share!
But my problem is this: from time to tine (from 1 to 7 days), the rig either restarts or freezes (simply the desktop remains like it is and i can’t do nothing, even moving the mouse).
Did I undervolt it too much? Did I raised the mem freq to much? It is possible to be the PSU for the system (a no-name 450W cheap one, but worked good before)? What can i do? I would be grateful for any advice!
Thanks!

Guys?
Anyone mining with AMD RX570 or RX 580?
Need the Xevan hashrate, or maybe you have info?
Thanks!

i have 2 rx 570 4gb red devils

when mining ethash i get around 27m\s on both of them

1200-1950

but mining cryptonight

1 of then ash at 750h\s and the other one 450\h\s

i tried to play a little bit the cc and mc but 450 is the best i could get

anyone could tell me what's wrong ??

and can i pull more than this from this card Huh

thank you in advance

just and update (weird though)

my RX 570 nitro+ 8gb 1240mhz core 2250 mem (micron)was doing 31.4mh/s with blockchain drivers. With last adrenaline drivers is doing 31.9 rock solid no errors.

Will have to test more but it seems latest drivers are increasing hash performance. Voltage of this particular card (82.2% asic quality), is an amazing 830mv (will continue trying lower voltages)

Today i received a Sapphire RX 570 nitro+ 8gb with micron memory. In the begining i said....well.....lets see how it goes (i already have one Sapphire RX 580 nitro+ 8gb with micron doing 32.2 with 0 errors rock solid so.....)

after a big big fail for me (i reinstalled Windows 10 on my test bench rig and had not installed ati patcher...... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes and i was having problems (obviously).

After realising that, modded the card, 1240mhz on the core (83% asic quality) ---> 856mv. Memory 2250mhz (<10errors per hour so incredibly good for that speed).  Result??? guess what....... 31,4mh/s which is actually more than i was getting on my MSI 580 8gb gaming X samsung (they will not do more than 2125mhz on the memory).

I'm brutally amazed of how well Micron memory performs. 100% good memory. 2 out of 2 good micron memory. Coincidence?? Don't think so.

I also got Micron.
Changed to 1150/900mv on gpu 2150/850mv on memory. 29 mh/s on eth and 860 on decred dual mining. 0 hardware errors.

I previously used popular Anorak BIOS but BIOS that my friend modded gives me better hash rate (approximately +1 Mh/s), so I guess he has some knowledge.

I used PBE last week to strap mine.
gpu: 1150 0.9v
memory: 2200 0.85v
30.6 Mh/s

radeon 570 8gb nitro+ hynix and micron.

take a look at your memory erros, you should be doing a lot of them.use HWinfo64 to see them. Anything above 10/hour is way too much. load the program and keep it in background for about 10 hours and then see how much you are doing. If you are doing 0 errors, you definetely have a high tiered Hynix.

But something does not match here. My 2 MSI's RX 580 Gaming X 8gb are actually doing 31,25mh/s with 1240 core 2125 memory at 865mv core. Your memory is clocked faster than my cards but actually getting less mh/s. This means your ram timings are very relaxed ones.
Could you post your 2000 strap??

None errors here. Changed to 2150 on memory now, will let it run through night. 29 mh/s on eth and 860 on decred.

I am away from the rig now. But I used PBE one click patch last week on the cards. Micron is doing a little bit better.

GPU clock on my card is also 1150 MHz and that's why I just commented difference in memory clock.
My friend, who is in mining business for years, modded BIOS for my card and I guess he did a decent job.
Currently I have RX570 with Elpida memory @1950 and RX570 with Hynix memory @2010 MHz. Both cards have GPU @1150 MHz and BIOS modded by the same guy. Hynix model with +60 mem clock gives me only +0.3 Mh/s (28.4 vs 28.7 Mh/s). That's why I was surprised that zipa13 gets 30,5 Mh/s with just a +100 MHz higher memory clock.
He might be mining for years, but that doesn't mean he knows anything about bios modding. It's more likely only memshift from 1500MHz or so...
