My Asus Strixx Rx 570 4gb OC with Elpida memory,give 30.5mh/s with 1150/2050.Without any problems.7 card rig,draw 1030w from the wall
Just wanted to chime in here, I've had pretty good luck with my cards overall, but am questioning one card in particular. All of my cards are MSI Armor 4G oc's, most are SK-Hynix, but I have 2 that are Elpida, one of which is particularly weak. I originally pressed forward with my normal vbios mod (one-click mem, undervolt everywhere), but was shocked to find I couldn't hit even 2000mhz without instant failure. So I reinstalled the stock vbios, loaded up a miner, and began to tweak my overclock. Seemed to be holding 1950mhz mem; at 1970mhz it would die within about 30 seconds (again, this is STOCK everything). Anyways after fiddling with it for a few hours, I gave up, and put my modded bios back on there.
Long story short, I have 1200/1920mhz/900mv stable on this card (easily my weakeast) at 830H/s cryptonote, anything higher would result in incorrect shares.
Could I really have been this unlucky in the silicon lottery? I was reading multiple places, people were hitting 2000mhz on Elpida memory.

1. extra point can add to this guide instal teamviewer or any other remote desktop before starting i had a moments here when my cards crashed after bios update and the only way to get into and patch it was to connect via TV
Thanks for the tip, I have just changed from using MSI Afterburner to OverdriveNTool and was looking for a guide to help optomize its settings - this was most helpfull.

What are you guys using for voltages at clocks 1200 odd? Is 825-850 good range or 850-900 ?
Currently 8 x RX570 are doing 7460 H/s on cryptonight using xmr-stak-amd and consuming roughly ~ 770w from wall (800w - 30w for cpu and other components)

is voltage locker or unlocked in Afterburner?
change voltage and also change the clocks and apply together in AFB. that worked for me.
locked and i cant unlock cause i have blockchain drivers
I am unsure if it's tied to blockchain drivers as I have it unlocked on mine (using 8/8/17 driver).
It was locked earlier using same drivers. The only thing that changed this I can reckon is I flashed one BIOS on one of my cards with just memory shift mod without touching on the clocks/volts. Usually I have to patch the rx 570 cards but it wasn't necessary on this one.
If AFB is locked then use overdriveNTool. You will have to use make adjustments > save to profile > hit reset all > apply profile. Should work then.
Note: If you have modded BIOS and higher volts in the memory section (300,1000 or 2000 Mhz) the card picks up that voltage even if you under volted on the core.

Has anyone got a bios modded 570 to properly work with MSI Afterburner? As in can change core voltage ?
Have tried all AMD Drivers and seems the blockchain drivers (aug23j are only ones that enable mem/gpu clock in AF but I’ve never seen the core volts enabled yet (its enabled in settings and tried all the fixes from google)
I’ve since moved over to OverdriveNTool which seems to work better and under volts seem to hold ok when manually using claymore and other miner apps.
Card is a sapphire 570 pulse it’d using Polaris one click step patch, gpu 1150/850, mem 2000/900

Only issue is when using nice hash or awesome miner , these 2 apps seem to ignore the under volt set in OverdriveNTool, even though gpuz says the cards are under volted my plug in watt meter says otherwise.
Any ideas why this is happening ? I’ve checked the manual overrides in nice hash and all seem to be default. Ive even added the extra flags for claymore to under volt but these are being ignored too.

If I remember correctly some earlier versions of the official released Afterburner would not let you adjust the voltage, depending on which video drivers were installed, and the beta Afterburner was required to fix this.

my rx 570 does fast like your but it draw 150w you are good to undervolt for saveing some watt?

GPU Memory Clock--2175 (max Hynix supported)
Hashrate for total 12 cards is 9950 h/s Monero with 1600 watt at wall in total.
Mining with Nicehash 0.00299 Btc daily.

I searched for a performance oriented VBIOS for Sapphire RX570 ITX (Pulse Mini) 4GB. My cards have both elpida & hynix memories. As none of the ROMs I found were satisfactory (reached about 25mhs, only ETH), I managed, after a few hours, to modify my own VBIOS.
I'm dual mining ETH+DCR and have a stable rates of30MH/s & 540MH/s respectively. Mem clock 2050MHz & core @ 1200. This is definitely not power efficient (whole rig pulls approximately 1500W out of the wall. 8 GPU's). And temps stay around 65C-68C. This is a little pet project of mine. Picture attached. Also a link to the modified VBIOS rom is provided, hopefully someone finds it useful. If you try it out, let me know how it worked for you. Use at your own risk. This has been stable for my setup but you never know...
EDIT: There were some instability which resulted in bad ETH shares, current settings and hashes are: 29MH/s & 525MH/s, mem clock 2000, core 1150 and powertune set to 3. This appears to have increased the stability a lot, and power usage dropped from 1500W to 1400W. Also temperatures dropped to around 60C. Much better.
