I Have RX570 Hynix memory, vendor is Digital Alliance ( Data land )

Ethash
Stock bios : 22 MH/s
Modded bios : 28 MH/s

Cryptonight
Stock bios : 750 H/s
Modded bios : 850 H/s ( CAST-XMR )

If you have same card with me, i can send you bios files

Hi, may i ask what are your settings and are they the same for Ethash and Cryptonight :

1/ in bios : you modded only memory straps ? if not what max core clock and voltage, same for P3 memory state

2/ other modifications either in bios (TDP for example) or using AB, wattool or other (mem clock etc.)

In my case my settings are made directly in bios after benching the card, generally i can always set max core clock at 1080 for 900mV, but i in too much cases i cannot set the memory clock to 2000 (worse i had is 1850). Strange thing though even at 1850 mem clock i can dual at 26MH + 60 MH lbry and i usually set TDP and max W at 110 in bios, resulting in a small economy of around 10 15w
Though my settings are bad for cryptonight (i do not car for now)

Halo
I only use Mod file bios from https://anorak.tech/t/dataland-rx-570-4gb-hynix/26553 and flash this bios file, i not change anything ( OC, change mem clock, or modification voltage )
For cryptonight, i use Cast XMR ( found at : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/cast-xmr-high-speed-xmrcryptonight-miner-for-rx-vega-gpus-2-khashs-2256917 )
Cryptonight 65 C temp and ethash about 75 C temp with 85% Fan speed
soo hot, like a sauna

I did play around with trixx until I was ftp://happy and did adjust the values of clock speed, undervolting and memory clock speed in bios editor and flushed the new bios on my cards and now running stable around 29.6mh/s and ~120w, are this good values or can I reduce the power consumption further, or are the 12w more power consumption not worth the additional 1mh/s and I should go back to the 28.6mh/s at 108w.

Do the math 28.6/108 vs 29.6/120.  If numbers are close.  Higher hash rate will be better since you'll mine the coins faster that way.  Provided both are stable.

ok makes sense, in general are this values good on a 570 or am I using too much power, i have seen videos where guys reach around 80w at 26mh/s

If you want to go tweaking individual cards, it takes considerable time and effort.  There can be lots of videos out there.  How stable was the 26mh/s @ 80w? was that also recorded?
Here's just a dirty 1000+ h/s on Monero.  That's an RX580 Nitro+ with Elpida memory.

Hi All,

super noob here and just started to set up my first rig (actually one GPU only, still waiting for the raiser to run all 6) with Sapphier RX570 8Gb Samsung memory.

I did test it out of the box and had 23.6-9mh/s and 143w power consumption.

Did the regular bios modding where you can find 100drets videos on youtube and managed between 27-28mh/3 but power still +130w.

I tried a different modification and got 28.6mh/z at 108w and I wanted to push the mh/z a bit further and did the following.

Looking forward to some replies

cheers

I'm getting 31.6 MH/s steady on 4 cards with ethOS.

Sapphire Nitro+ 4GB

core = 1280
mem = 2200
powertune = 7
miner = claymore
voltage = 0.7

My problem is I need another power cable from my PSU for the risers on the 5th and 6th cards. Hopefully it'll arrive soon!

Hi, will high powertune (yours is 7, my is 5, I have no idea what it is about) require more power consumption? Or heat? What are your temps of GPUs with this setting? And also your fan speeds and room temp? Thanks.

Hi
Can anyone help me if there is something missing or doing wrong during the set up because I got a weird hashate
ok I got 3 MSI rx 570 4 GB (Elpida), 1 MSI Rx 580 4 GB (Elpida), 1 Asus Rx 580 8 GB (samsung), I set the virtual mem to 40 GB, window 10 version 1709
and I'm using AMD blockchain driver released on August 2017,  4G encoding enabled, PCI speed is gen 2 cuz I'm using Asus Z270 AR,
and all cards only run at 14 mh/s at stock, is it suppose to run at 19-20 mh/s at stock ? Thanks, I really appreciate

Supposed to run at 21-22.x at stock.  Are you supplying enough power to all the cards?  Troubleshoot card by card.

I think its a driver issue, if i m correct you need the latests radeon driver for Windows 1709 because old radeon drivers with this udpate of Windows creators failed to correct the DAG file problem (which is the initial purpose of blockchain drivers).
Remember after installing the new driver to go into the application / gamings settings and to set each card to compute mode (instead of graphic mode by default). have no fear of doing it as the latest drivers (nov 27th if i remember correctly) include the blockchain driver by selecting the compute mode

Thanks for helping, I'm using Corsair 1200 Watt for PSU.  I tried to uninstall drivers by using DDU and re-install again but they are still the same rate, all cables and risers are fine

Hello guys

ETH veteran here, but wanting some feedback of these cards on XMR

Could you share your hashrates and wattages for XMR?

thanks!

My Asus expedition OC RX 570's with Anorak's power save rom get 662.5h/s mining cryptonight algo.

GPU only power draw in GPU Z is approx 75w, still need to test it at the wall.

Interesting. I have the same cards.  How much ETH Mh/s do you get?   Mine do 28.8 Mh/s @ 1080/1950  837mv  (gpu-z 70ish watts).

Sorry for the late reply, with Eth using Claymores I get 27mh/s without any OC mods, just the updated bios so you should get higher than mine anyway.

Does anyone have good settings in MSI Afterburner for XMR mining with the RX 570 above?

running sapphire rx nitro+ 570 8g with Hynix memory with block chain drivers, 1750 strap mod (or uber mod) but nothing gets me over 25 Mh/s and is still stable.  I have 470 8g and 480 8g cards running at 28+ all day long, but these 570 8g cards with Hynix are appearing to be crap cards.  Anyone had better luck and what have you done to get them tuned up higher.  Any core overclocking over 2000 makes the cards freeze.  Would love to hear from those that have been successful in finding a way to make these cards run at 28+.

Hi guys,

I think i m slowly gliding to Madness but here is my problem if anyone can help.

I have MSI RX570 Armor 4G Elpida memory. I did the bios mod by copying the 1500 strap to higher ones. I m Under win10 pro fully up to date. Now whatever driver i try i never get better than 25MH solo ETH.
Even stranger, i m at 25MH at 1750 mem, and if i put higher mem up to 2000, the hashrate either doesnt change or drop a little to 24.

I tried a full reinstall.
I tried blockchain driver 17.3 : cant use it the graphic card is not seen by miners (but is seen ok in system information or gpu Z)
I tried blockchain drivber 17.4 : i can change RAM Under afterburner but i cant reset it to 1750
Latest radeon (29 november) : same problem (i use compute mode of course)

The OC of RAM is made Under afterburner, but i tried wattool too with same result : no improve in hashrate. Under HWInfo64 i can see that the RAM is OC to 2000.

I dont know what to try my sanity is on edge its been 2 days i ve been trying so any clue, even little would be greatly appreciated. I guess i m good for a new clean reinstall ...

Hey.

I searched for a performance oriented VBIOS for Sapphire RX570 ITX (Pulse Mini) 4GB. My cards have both elpida & hynix memories. As none of the ROMs I found were satisfactory (reached about 25mhs, only ETH), I managed, after a few hours, to modify my own VBIOS.

I'm dual mining ETH+DCR and have a stable rates of 30MH/s & 540MH/s respectively. Mem clock 2050MHz & core @ 1200. This is definitely not power efficient (whole rig pulls approximately 1500W out of the wall. 8 GPU's). And temps stay around 65C-68C. This is a little pet project of mine. Picture attached. Also a link to the modified VBIOS rom is provided, hopefully someone finds it useful. If you try it out, let me know how it worked for you. Use at your own risk. This has been stable for my setup but you never know...

EDIT: There were some instability which resulted in bad ETH shares, current settings and hashes are: 29MH/s & 525MH/s, mem clock 2000, core 1150 and powertune set to 3. This appears to have increased the stability a lot, and power usage dropped from 1500W to 1400W. Also temperatures dropped to around 60C. Much better. Smiley

Hello everyone,

I have a core clock problem with an MSI Armor RX570 4GB (Hynix) card.
As you can see on the picture below, one of my card's OC is stable, but on the second one the core clock fall back after a few seconds of running..
https://prohardver.hu/dl/upc/2017-11/212990_rx570_problem.png

Memory clock is stable on both cards. I tried Afterburner (4.4.0 Beta 16) and Claymore's OC settings but none of them works.
Did anyone face this problem before?

Thanks in advance,

Hello,

If i buy a GPU from the Type Sapphire Radeon RX 570 NITRO+ 4G
What is the hashrate what i can get with bios editing only with tripe copy and adjust the Memory Speed and other power Setting, without special custom timing

Best Regards
Willi

Depends on the type of RAM i guess, but you should easily get to 28..

Hay i recently built a rig with same Sapphire Radeon RX 570 NITRO+ 4G elpida memory, moded 1500 starp to above. getting 25.9 hash max, any suggestions. Where am i going wrong.
