Ofcourse , maybe the OP just invested on the peak of crypto that almost all of the crypto tokens are on their peak. We cant blame it but Earning a small amount of profit during the hype is a essential move specially that if it is on its peak. 
I don't think there is the right time to join and make the investment. You can make the investment any time as per your choice. And don't wait for it just do it. At least you will start to taking actions on it.
