There are many scammers on ICOs Telegram groups now but no matter how sophisticated they are, am more smarter than them. Whenever I receive unsolicited message on Telegram, I report spam and block instantly. I have never been scammed and I don't want to experience it.

I was tried many times to deceive basically in the telegram. When I was interested in what or ICO I wrote and offered or buy cheap or that you need to make money to participate in pre-sales. Wrote on behalf of admins who always turned out to be fakes. My rule is never to pay incomprehensible people for anything.

Yes, unfortunately I was deceived several times by ICO projects. Some did not pay the bounty, some did not return me the money I invested :\. But now I have learned my lessons and treat ICO more accurately.
Yes i got scammed and i am so dissapointing with my self after i got scammed, and i remember that i lost 3eth and my father is very mad at me, so after i experienced to be scammed i analyze more better if the project is good and will have a future.

I think he should focus on knowledge before deciding to invest in ICO or join any bounty now, the market is no longer vibrant, meaning it will be slower and harder to find make money

The same thing happened on Telegram, scammers pretend to be administrators and ask eth that we have to be careful because scammers are everywhere and they're just waiting for the next victim.

I was once almost scammed by a scammer who was arguably smart in one of the bounties more precisely the signature campaign, I registered in a signature campaign at week 3 but at week 5 I found an oddity in the spreadsheet that there was one participant whose name was similar with my account name, because I was curious I saw the profile of the account and I checked it, it turned out that when I opened the account profile link I opened my own account profile, after that I immediately reported the incident to the bounty campaign manager and finally a similar account name it is rejected from the signature campaign.

I almost got scammed on twitter by a fake account. Scammers are setting up fake accounts pretending to be other people/ICO's/Tokens. It's very tricky if you are not paying attention. Make sure you check spelling on all names to be correct. Be careful who you give your info to. Even if it's just your email address. Scammers will not stop scamming so watch out and pay close attention to what you are signing up for. Good Luck everyone and be safe!
That is a good idea, Warning to all members here are great. So people now have idea about what will happen once you've entered on the fake ICO. I am victims also and now I am aware this kind of nothing and wasting time. I know newbie or beginners are not almost aware 100% but I am sure once they read this warning they have some idea to avoid the scammer.

I have been duped twice from an Airdrop telegram. A $ 500 token is missing in my MEW wallet. Cheats are very smart and sophisticated using the MEW site tool. To claim a token by entering SIGN Massage on the MEW web phising.
I don't know, if that fraud.

I believe that deception is first and foremost our mistake. After all, if we allow ourselves to be weak for a moment. So we will eventually be deceived by someone. So, be strong and vigilant.

If I am from a website that is almost similar to the website Cryptocurrency Exchange.
It is very dangerous when I enter the e-mail address and password, if only it happens maybe my Bitcoin has been stolen by SCAMMER.

A ridiculous question on which I will say with a big statement YES, because it seems to me that there will never be such a thing that people are not deceived in the market, probably this will concern all participants of the crypto-currency community, but it's true.

ENCRYBIT — FUTURE OF CRYPTOEXCHANGE
September 17, 2018, 08:32:49 AM
I had series of encounters with scammers but not on crypto. One of them happened last month (August, 2018). On that very day I received a phone call from a man claiming to be the Director of a certain company asking me to come that my contract application was successful. At first I was confused because I did not remember applying for contract in that particular organization he made mention of. In fact what really helped me was the handy list of companies I have dealings with that is right on my Android phone note. After I dropped the call with the promise to call him back I quickly went through the list. Neither me nor any of my friends apply with my company name for any contract with such company. Then I realized it was a scam so I refused to call back.
