Can you share this experience?

If you say yes, what the project was it? Why did you believe in this project?

I think most people who are into crypto have been scammed at least once in their crypto time. It's also a good lesson, so that next time you will know what to avoid when dealing with people or doing transactions. I have scammed before when I first learned about crypto last 2013. I tried to invest all my funds in a bitcoin investment before and ended up getting nothing from it. From then on, I am very careful when investing or doing any transactions.

Definitely Yes. Investing money with a rate of interest of 130%. I was catch up by high interest rate and at the end after I withdraw all my money it absolutely shouldnt send on my digital wallet. Until it was technically scammed and fraud by the company.

Last year I sent 1 bitcoin to a fake bitcoin mixer site on the Tor network and lost it. They made good SEO that at that time, when you search bitcoin mixer keyword on google, their site is at the first place.

Once i got scammed by etherdelta. The Ethereum Network was total overloaded. So i set the Gas price very high to transfer some tokens. I send the transaction because i want to sell fast. For a reason i dont know, the transaction failed. So i lost like 0.012ethereum or 12 dollar for transaction that didnt happen. That was the only time i got scammed. Since those days i dont use etherdelta anymore. And you see in the last days they got huge problems and scammed a lot of people.

thank you for sharing this information. i hope it will help someone not to be scammed by etherdelta

Nope. I wasn't. I believe you should be wise to notice when something is wrong. When the reward is too good to be true or the reward is very high or can be achieved very easily, that may be a sign that it is a scam. No good things come easy. You should always work hard.

once I was victimized by scammers. Then I trusted him. I think it's okay to talk to him but not. He took all my money and I did not access him because I was blocked from all his accounts. So Lesson Learned "Do not trust people who are kind to you at the beginning" they just make you fool. It is better if we first trust someone we need to know it completely. Do not trust it immediately if it's a good thing, we know it's a fake persons habit.

There is no scarcity of conmen and scamsters here in the world of Bitcoins. I myself have been scammed multiple times in the past. On one occasion, I lost more than half of all my Bitcoins. But now I don't think about those losses. I believe in the principle "Let bygones be bygones"....

I have never been scammed but my friend has been. That was the first project my friend was involved in. My friend made the signature campaign and the project was promoted on facebook. My friend has not checked information about the project. Most of the investors and staff are very new and nobody knows about them.
My friend was scammed for not checking information about the project's human resources. I hope you will not make the same mistake as my friend.

Yeah, got scammed even though I thought it couldn't happen to me, being (usually) quite thorough with my research. However, had a friend recommend me confido after the ico had ended. Wasn't aware it was even going on at the time. Normally, I'd have a look at the team first. Usually it's a dead giveaway on whether the project has chances to succeed. Didn't look this time and it would have been glaringly obvious that it was a scam since all the profiles were fake and could've been deduced easily. Put in 2 eth I think. Wake up next morning to a 70% or something drop. I instantly knew what had happened. Hasn't happened since.

No, I am fortunate enough to be a person that is pessimistic on unknown projects. I dont throw my money into random projects, I do my research and I am very cautious when I invest. There is enough money to be made without all these risky investments IMO. Most people that are scammed are reckless with their private keys or passwords, or just give people money thinking they will be getting double the money back... As the CEO of Binance already said in a tweet: That is not how it works.

I have never experienced being scammed because im a novice and continue posting so i can join the campaign and i hope i can not experience being scammed if i decided to invest in bitcoin soon.

I wish you good luck!

So far I haven't been scammed as I never invested in MLM coins, however at early stages, I lost in trading which is quite common if you are new in trading. Now I am really comfortable with crypto trading Smiley

I haven't been scammed too but then, that's probably the main reason why I didn't believe in bitcoins at first. The thought of 'scamming' made me had doubts on using bitcoins and campaigns like signature but I'm hoping it won't happen.

Well scammers are always there, all you need to do is to make sure that you avoid those scammers, don't join in any bounty that you think is scam and don't also invest to those project that you think is not good in the future to avoid those scammers.
Personally I have been in scammed for almost twice in online businesses or networking in a simple term well I am one of its victims because I'm a really business minded person so that's the reason why. But here in digital currency, I haven't been scam and I'm glad that to all of risks that I take, this one is the right thing I've done so far on my searching of a profitable business.

Well those were my early days into crypto and bitcoin. I bought very small amount of bitcoin and also earned some from a site that used to pay in bitcoin for posting.
And someone introduced me to a site called HashOcean, which was an online mining site where one has to buy hash power and then earn some profit.
So I bought some, it was very low so I bought more and then when I was just about to reach my payout limit... boom the site was no more. They ran away with everything.
So yeah, that was my scam story in the crypto world. Lessen learnt, said NO to online mining forever. And also have been quite careful about these offers and crypto investment opportunities.

I have been scammed by a cloudmining company.  At first it was paying but then after sometimes they stopped paying people and eventually shutdown.  I have experienced this several times (lol I never learned)  but then after several failed investment in cloudmining, I finally decided that it is not really worth to invest.  Aside from that, I have been scammed by HYIP company disguised as MLM company.
