This situation normally occurs when people make the wrong decisions that makes them lose a huge amount of money, that's why it advisable for people to gamble with their spare cash and also not gamble out of emotions, because sometimes being in a  bad state of mind can force people to make choices that they'll regret later, in the world of gambling no game is 100% sure so no matter how well a  punter says they've taken their time to study the particular strategies they used in predicting most games they forecast online, do not be too quick to rush into staking very high because you might leave to regret and start putting blames on yourself which in return can cause overthinking or make one feel depressed.
But also there are  two ways to gambling because you could either regret not taking a risk to stake on a game if the outcome is positive and also if it's negative that is why some people prefer to tag gambling as a game of luck because it's not easy to determine the outcome of an event that's yet to occur, however it all falls back to being careful and gamble wisely so as not lose much funds that would make you be very remorseful, because a wrong choice is capable of ruining one's mental health for life.

wanting to stop is always there , but the feeling of easy money will keep gamblers stays as they always believe in luck that will made them stay even its making their life miserable .
Have you forgotten that the security system in government and law enforcement also has a team that is truly skilled in hacking, so no matter how sophisticated the technology used by the criminals, it doesn't take long for them to be identified or tracked.
So far, almost every country has a hacker team to help with all activities related to software, making it difficult for them to get away with crimes committed in the crypto and gambling industries.

We never get satisfied as well as doesn't want to lose. If we were satisfied then surely majority of the users never want to feel sad gambling. Because, majority of the gamblers make good profit and further the greed only makes them lose everything. Even today I had such a feeling, because I had doubled the capital and I didn't stopped. What happens further, lost everything in just four rolls which shows that gambling is all about limiting ourselves on profit as well as on lose.
I agree if we want to last longer in gambling while still having sanity, we need to limit ourselves.  After all self-control is the pill against gambling addiction.  Anyway, I also experience the same thing, initially winning but ending up losing my bankroll.  It happened recently, I deposited around $30 in a casino, and I made it grow to $200+, sadly greed hits me and wanting to win more so I raise my wagering bet which ends up in faster bankroll depletion.  Although my gambling session that day ends up losing my bankroll, I didn't feel any regret even though I lost that $200+ which should have been a pure profit if I withdraw since I always consider my session as a lost, it will only be a bonus if I happen to withdraw a larger amount.  With this kind of thinking, I gamble with less pressure and frustration.

Indeed. Players shouldn't gamble excessively to avoid being addicted in gambling. One must know his limitations to prevent any troubles that may arise with lack of discipline such as problems in financial matters and the likes. Limitation and boundaries are important to be established because it is one of the armors of a gambler from being intoxicated and dependent in bad gambling habits. If one is irresponsible, then losses are expected to happen.

It's just saddening that people are being greedy and keep on forgetting about the consequences of gambling. Just like what happened to you, it was an unfortunate scenario but could totally be prevented if only you knew better from the start. Really do hope that you learned your lesson well and have more winnings in your future plays and bets.

Its not easy to break free from compulsive gambling. Its possible to relapse even if you're determined not to. Its like trying to dispel a shadow with a floodlight; no matter how bright you make it, it keeps creeping back.

A change in point of view is exactly what is required. Gambling should be viewed as fun rather than a means to an end (earning money). Like going to the movies, you pay for the entertainment value rather than the potential profit. Enjoy the humorous side, but know when to quit.

Addicts may need to experiment with new forms of risk-taking and reward-seeking to break their cycles of addiction. Some constructive options for this are playing sports or making investments. And try to be gentle with them; everybody's going through something.
Everyone has to learn, including learning to let go of compulsive gambling to stop the habit of gambling. If you are too deep into gambling, it might be even more difficult because you have to change your mindset by realizing that gambling does not give good results for us. Surely there must be a desire from within to want to change, get rid of the gambling habit that has existed for years, and start building new habits.
but once you got deep into gambling you will completely accept that your faith relies on luck and this is the reason why they stick into it.
and another thing that it is easy said that done mate, leaving being a compulsive gambler is not that easy task .
Quote
When we feel regret after playing gambling, it means we still want to stop gambling, but if it is not accompanied by action, it will be difficult to stop and will only come back with more money. Maybe when gambling addicts take a break, we can try to get them to do something so that their minds on gambling will be distracted so that at that time, we can invite them to think about what impact gambling has on them with a gentle approach that might open his mind to accept suggestions from us so they can decide to stop gambling.

Generally, people who play only for fun don't really feel that much bad or have a feeling of remorse when they lose a few dollars because they think they've spent it on the game just like how people spend money to buy skins, clothes, and a lot of other things in video games, it does feel a bit bad though, I know, but the feeling is totally different when you are an addicted gambler and you are gambling only to earn some money through it.

When you are gambling only for fun, winning does increase the fun and joy in your session but when you lose, you don't regret that much, but when you are gambling with the sole purpose of earning money and getting profits, those losses hit harder and you feel too much bad for every single loss.

Generally, regret is commonplace for gamblers. whether it's gamblers who do it for fun, especially for gamblers who always hope to get a win in every gambling session, especially for compulsive gamblers. Psychologically, the feeling includes many things. when we do a gambling session, where our emotions will be involved in it. whether it's when we win, or experience defeat especially those who have lost in a row. regret, is a normal even very close in our lives. it's just that each case is different.

We agree, that people who play just for fun don't really feel bad or have any remorse for gambling especially when they just spent a few dollars. in this case, it didn't matter if they lost in the end. but in different cases, even though we play for fun and when big wins come. sometimes, we get so caught up in the game that in the end the money we get before returns to the dealer. then, the regret also came even though it didn't have a big impact on the gambler. on other points, we totally agree. So overall, I agree with what you're saying.

Disgusting gambling sessions happen every month on my end, there are many bad days that I have tried to turn the other way around but failed to do so. That is because of the greed that I should learn how to control, otherwise, modern capitalism forces us to think gambling money is easy money. That feeling should be ignored during game sessions to save our emotions and hard-earned money. Learning from the mistakes of other gamblers helps in such situations, losing is just a part of the game.

We as human beings never like to lose, that's like anyone who tells you they like to see things go wrong in their life, obviously no one likes things to go wrong, and if they can find the way to make it so. Well, it will, in games of chance, casinos, and sports betting, when they play and lose, it affects a lot of people, it lowers their self-esteem and it usually hits them a lot, that's why one should always control their emotions and not bet the rest.

If you have a budget only for casinos, you must take into account that this money is willing to lose, you cannot delude yourself with that money, because the emotional shock can be very strong, that is why it is always recommended that you go to play. that the money that is put in the casino is totally willing to lose it.

My ways of betting are very methodical, but they are safe because they will not become an addiction, it is also a way of knowing that there is discipline that supports any movement, so I consider that my method is not bad and you can copy it, because I would be very happy if a person can be helped by what I do.

Self-sufficiency and living 'off the grid' is an inspirational and terrifying concept. However, in today's interconnected world, the viability of such a lifestyle remains debatable. Should wealth be the only criterion by which we judge poverty? Maybe not. It would be just as stupid to ignore its significance altogether. The need to exchange money is universal, even in more remote locations. The typical farmer does not have the financial means to acquire healthcare, advanced technology, or advanced education. This creates inconsistency in how we conceptualize life in the country. We admire its barebones freedom and autonomy, but we also know full well the challenges and restrictions that come with it. Keeping things in perspective is, thus, crucial

I really enjoy gambling especially if the gambling game is fun such as color game where there's three box contains 6 colors and you will roll it as a dice which is really fun. This kinds of gambling games are popular in my country where you can see some people are always there as if that's where they get their source of living. I've started young with a small amount first and I find that enjoyable even playing cards with adults with just a small bet. But one time I asked for money to my mother when I was a kid just to gambling with my friends after losing a lot, then in the end I'd still lost and my mother asked me what did I bought with my money and of course I lied and I really felt bad since she said that money was supposed to used for buying foods so yeah. I've never used again other's money when it comes to my entertainment.

It's obvious that we felt sad after losing in gambling. Who wants to lose in gambling? No one. Everyone wants to have a win in gambling and this is not possible of course. This remorse increases significantly if you have risked money which should not have been put into gambling and then you lost that money. Sometimes such acts will make your life miserable and will not be limited to regret only. Think that someone took a loan to gamble and lost the money, the remorse in this case is unimaginable. One may be killing himself after such a loss of that loaned money.

The losses will happen in gambling and if the gamblers make up their mind initially, then for sure they won't get too emotional after the losses and won't take more wrong actions.

maybe everyone has experienced such a problem and maybe I have too. but at least we have good control, not like addicts when we lose and regret it the next day, come again and regret it again and so on. different from when we regret it we need time to get rid of the disappointed thought of losing a few dollars to gamble.
and I understand that this kind of behavior comes naturally because we gamble, of course, just for fun like playing video games and when we lose a small amount we will come back even if it is a few weeks after the regret.
Such addicts will only be in that circle without being able to get out of that circle. He needed something to break the circle so he could get out of his gambling addiction. But it will not be easy because an addict will want to return to gambling even though he has lost and regrets it.

So we should be luckier to get out of gambling even though we already regret it and keep returning to gambling after a few days or weeks. It doesn't matter because we are not gambling addicts and can still control ourselves and know that gambling is for fun only.

Big losses will then be the next, for sure, but that kind of emotion is a sign of addiction, which is why it is better to keep away if you start to notice it and ask for some help from your family. I really don't know why we get a mental block when we are in this kind of situation where we lose but still continue playing, thinking that we will win back, but the truth is that it is impossible.
We have losses and profits; the problem is that these outcomes are not predictable, and in certain circumstances, we encounter difficult times and challenges in the system. Revenge is one of the most deeply flawed and destructive mindsets a gambler may possess; seeking vengeance for your losses in a gambling race is a completely inappropriate roadway to pursue. We are humans, and it hurts to see one's hard-earned money drained by the system. Furthermore, when you decide to wager, you already agree to face any conceivable consequences on your games, be they tremendous losses or enormous profits.

Chasing your losses is one of the fastest ways to lose your money not only in gambling but in almost any other activity, after all something similar happens as well when people trade and they lose several times in a row, they simply cannot accept this is happening to them and they cannot stand seeing their account being on the red and then decide to disregard their trading strategy completely and chase their losses, and that is when massive losses can be amassed by traders or investors.
Indeed mate. This type of mindset should not be shared throughout the new sprouts who are about to begin their journey in the gambling industry because it will just point them to a wrong direction. Instead, what happened the other day is already in the past and so it is time to move on but do bring with you the experience you have because that will be your weapon to be wiser in the next phase. Remember, a loss is a loss and so does the win, it cannot be brought back and we should just deal what we have in the present.
Many people unfortunately do not have that kind of mindset, instead they are keeping track of the number of times they have lost, and when the losses are too many then they simply cannot take it anymore and try to recover what they have lost, and that is when massive losses can be incurred as once a person is in that state they will not accept any other outcome than to beat the casino, and since we know casinos have an edge over us then it is very unlikely for such a person to reach the happy ending the are looking for.

That's what happened to many people, and I also experienced it Grin

But the difference is that I don't immediately return the next day but a few days or weeks later so that my mind feels refreshed and I don't think about the previous defeat. I did that so I don't remember my last defeat and not think about how much money I lost at the gambling table. And we should indeed gamble less and save money to appreciate better the money we earn for work.

Bad feelings doesn't only apply to addicts I think, but also to people who afford their living with gambling. When you take the poker players as an example, jetting from one event to the next, I can imagine that they must be feeling quite bad when they enter a severe losing streak and see their buy ins not generating any income in return. They are used to having lucky streaks as well, but when it hits them hard and they can't make it into the money for an extended period of time, I am sure frustration can overcome them as well.

There may be an additional factor why a person cannot stop gambling, it comes when he becomes very greedy to get more profits, the average of the people who have the nature of the gambler you are talking about are those who are too greedy not to chase defeat before, until in the end he had a losing streak and the money he won before became a big reason for the regret he felt, and the stupidity he did was a gambler who always made the same mistake in his gambling.
Yes, sometimes a person becomes greedy, wanting more profits even though he already had the previous profits. He didn't remember how hard it was to win from gambling, and when he could win, he'd better just quit. But what happened was that he became even more eager to continue gambling and tried to get another win. This is what made him finally experience a painful defeat. It has happened to many people, so we must try to prevent it from happening to us.

~snip~
That is a good decision, you can manage your gambling soul, so you don't care about the losses that have occurred and maybe if you think about it it will become a bundle of regrets and make you want to get it back in the future with a different gambling moment.
If we only regret but don't do something, we may never really regret it, especially if it is a loss in gambling. We will want to come back the next day to avenge our defeat and try to recover from our losses the previous day. If we have experienced loss and regret, we should immediately get out of gambling and rest for a few days to reflect on our actions. And if necessary, we can fix ourselves first before we decide to gamble again.
