Self-control is the best option they can do in such conditions, learning to put aside ambition in gambling would be better. I would advise someone to take a break and find additional activities for their daily life to keep their mind away from gambling. It would look better for his bright future.
Yes, I would suggest the same to a person or friend who has been gambling for a while. By resting, a person can refresh his mind, especially after experiencing a defeat, to forget his previous loss. And maybe it can open his mind to stop gambling.
Taking a break after experiencing bad luck at gambling such as losing or even failing to get a big win just because of a small mistake can calm the mind to become fresher and not panic or anxious, even a sense of emotion can disappear by itself.
But it's not easy to advise other gamblers or friends when they experience bad things in gambling because everyone's way of thinking is definitely different and of course everyone's emotional level can be controlled and some are difficult for the person himself to control.

But giving positive directions is a kindness and we can be useful for others.

Why did I feel guilty for taking a big risk and losing money?
Of course, there are demo accounts for this and you can do it for free, but it doesn't make sense to hang out on demo accounts too much, as there is no point in just satisfying yourself.
There is a money circulation here too and people get caught up in it when they want to make use of it.I have experienced this and I can now tell myself to stop after a certain loss. That is, I realize that I have no chance that day and that I have made a mistake somewhere and I distance myself from it.
Well, gambling on a demo account can never feel as good as doing the real gambling with real cash, one thing is that, you could wager as high as you want on a demo account and supposedly win a very huge sum of money, but that is just you punishing your emotions because you will just end up wishing you did the gambling with real account and real money, so that that winning would be real.

This is something that have happened to me on several occasions where i win hundreds of thousands of dollars playing slot games on demo mode, where as on a live account, ive never won up to $30 at once, maybe this is because on a demo account, you can comfortably stake as much money as you want, but on a live account, you become really careful with your decisions on how much to stake per roll due to the seize of your bankroll.
Of course, the luck on the demo account will not be at the same level as when playing normally. Because on the demo account, there is a chance to turn people into a lucky gambler. But you may not find this chance when playing on a regular account. One of the benefits of the demo account is that it contains a sense of self-satisfaction without spending money for those who want to gamble. The existence of such accounts is an indication that people can enjoy the feeling of winning without depositing money. Sometimes we can say that people play just for this feeling because the feeling of winning is a different feeling and since human nature cannot win all the time, the chances promised in these accounts have a higher winning percentage.

Well it won't affect anything at all, I mean gambling is just about luck, the size of the money we bet can't increase our chances of winning. But there are also some of them who do it with a large amount of bets, because as you said above that if our bet is large then if we are lucky our victory will also be very large, and vice versa if we lose then we will experience a large loss according to the amount we bet. As I have said before that it is impossible if someone does not feel regret when they lose. Borrowing is not a good option to make a choice, I will go back to saying that there is no better step except to stop, starting with increasing rest time, reducing association with those who are still actively gambling, adding other activities to daily life. I've tried this and it's a great way to stay away from gambling.

Generally, it is advised that start with small and gradually increase the amount. Straight away increasing the amount is more risky as you can lose everything in one go. Of course, when you place a big bet and choose the right multiplier the chance of winning a big amount is present. I haven't been lucky enough at the moment to get to that point. There are times when your intuition would want to go with the risk but your mind won't agree. In such a situation when do not place a big bet and if you win you will feel remorse. I am sure everyone might have gone through the same experience and everyone would have felt the same way.
Periodically increasing the amount of money at stake there are times when you have to look at each round first, because the few times I tried this there were successful some were not, yes it will not be far from luck, because sometimes at low stakes every round is good and when we increase the amount of the bet the result is the opposite, and when I return to the amount of the bet at the beginning the round is good again.
I've wondered if the bet amount affects the result, but if that's true then I've also felt the same way, that is, every time I increase the bet amount the spin gets better. It's like a puzzle, but I put it down to my different luck. Lol

This definitely makes sense.

On a demo account, you can go all out whenever you want to because you aren't stressing out and thinking about the possible losses since there would be no true losses to begin. Since you are only using a demo account, meaning the fund at stake aren't real and only a virtual representation, hence you have the courage and the unlimited tries to play and bet to test your luck and skills. However, this could trigger some sort of what if questions to you whenever you really won a huge amount, thinking if you only bet for real, then you would've become a millionaire already and the likes. And I can't really blame you for thinking about that way. Regrets can come whenever we feel the dismay about our actions and the lack thereof.

But you should also be reminded that not the exact patterns and outcomes will happen the moment you played in real life too. Sometimes it's the complete opposite. And this happens due to fear and paranoia since there's something to lose already on your end. Hence, you must be careful in playing and betting to avoid such regrets and disappointment.

And most people are willing to take that risk because they hope to win from gambling. That's why they even want to use the money to pay bills to play gambling. Because of that hope, he loses and can't pay the bills. It must have made him regret not being able to prevent himself from gambling but it all happened and he could only regret it.
Everyone who gambles will have risks, and the risks of each gambler vary depending on their habits every time they do it, for example there are some of them who are accustomed to betting with high stakes, the risks they will receive are also high, and vice versa if they win. The impact of risk will result in regret, and every gambler will definitely feel regret at a certain level. Their level of regret and risk will depend on how much they expect to win. It is wrong if someone takes shortcuts to get a loan to gamble, there is a lot of pressure when they try to do that to fulfill their lust. Regret will definitely be felt, and if they don't stop the borrowing habit soon then they will feel the stress of being in debt.
High or low bets will not give a higher chance of winning because it depends on our analysis or luck. The difference is in the results we will get. If we win, we win a lot of money. If we lose, we lose a lot of money. In addition, the bets we place will impact us, whether the results win or lose. But if we lose a lot, we must regret it because we have lost a lot of money. And if someone borrows money to gamble, he should be very sorry when he suffers a big loss where he still has to return the money he borrowed. Regret comes last after we get results that don't match what we expected.

We never get satisfied as well as doesn't want to lose. If we were satisfied then surely majority of the users never want to feel sad gambling. Because, majority of the gamblers make good profit and further the greed only makes them lose everything. Even today I had such a feeling, because I had doubled the capital and I didn't stopped. What happens further, lost everything in just four rolls which shows that gambling is all about limiting ourselves on profit as well as on lose.
There's presence of much work to handle. Gamblers never become contented; they're always looking for more than they currently have, always going for the bigger jackpots. Feeling remorse for gambling just persists for a day or an hour; the next day, you'll find yourself gambling without reluctance. We must all devise some disciplinary measures or concepts to guide us in order to lower our loss rate. Gambling is unquestionably not the best way to generate revenue for oneself. Aside from gaming, there are various other activities that can provide more consistent revenue.
No one in this world can say that he is satisfied with what he has. In that case a gambler is unlikely to be satisfied in any way. The more he gets, he will try to get more and even if he loses, he will try again to win from there. It cannot be denied that there is no remorse among gamblers. A gambler regrets and he is encouraged to gamble again. This is how a gambler's gambling life is conducted. I think regret in gambling is also a part of gambling. But if we are able to practice responsible gambling then we can get rid of this situation to some extent.
It is true that gamblers can never be satisfied with anything. Greed usually works more in them and when they lose, they finish everything because of more money, they do not have any sense of remorse. Gambling should not in any way interfere with a player's normal life. A gambler must learn to play responsibly and control the situation so that gambling brings pleasure, but does not become a problem. Responsible gamblers do not see gambling as a source of income and gamble with an amount they can afford to give up if they lose.

in most cases where people feel some remorse after gambling and losing everything happens when people take the money that should be used to pay bills, food, school and health and take that money to play thinking that they will win and that after winning, they took the profit to return the money that was destined to pay the bills, so these people lose everything playing and as they lost everything they start to regret it, so what comes next is that they will borrow or sell something to be able to take the money and go back to playing thinking that when they win they will be able to recover the money they lost at the casino

That is the risk involved in gambling, if you are willing to take the risk because you feel that you're going to win and at least double the money then those kind of individuals go for it. But at the end, when everything didn't went on their way, they will go on a rant and most likely blame everyone around him except themselves and then now face that difficult problem in life, how the hell will he be able to pay that bills or bring food in the table for his family as he lost that money?

But if we go thru that experience at least once in our gambling activities and doesn't want that to happen again, specially seeing your children suffering as well due to your gambling, then perhaps it's a wake up call to learn how to prioritized things in life. And hopefully, we learn our lessons from that and who know, the best  thing to happen after that is to completely stop gambling for good.

Greed, ambition and also the thought of wanting to get rich quickly are natural things and are often experienced by anyone.
When gamblers have such desires and thoughts, their steps in gambling will fall apart, making it easier to fall into the pit of destruction.
Regret because gambling only lasts for one day or one hour is a mistake but apart from regret they have high confidence that they can get a jackpot or big win whereas to be able to have big wins gamblers also need luck, not just belief.
such beliefs will only make one's life ruined in gambling and it is the same as expecting something big from gambling while the gambling industry is built to earn income not to provide income to customer. this critical mindset is very sad for those who believe or believe that they will get a big win and end up regret it after losing all their valuables.

I not sure if everyone regret just a day or two because someone who has a healthy mindset after regret a mistake at gambling he will not come back and stay away from gambling.
It's banar and that's why I myself always advise others to have better thoughts or beliefs so that don't make mistakes every time are in the gambling industry to play or bet.
Even so, there are still many gamblers who don't want to hear good advice and advice because they already have ambitions that are beyond the limits, plus when they see some lucky people getting the jackpot, they are increasingly convinced that they can get the same win.

But I still believe when they lose more valuable things and lose all that they have due to mistakes in gambling, they will feel regret.

When people deal with money things and something similar, they are always very jealous in what they know, I personally respect the opinions and advice of others a lot, also if I know that you are a long-time casino player, not to say that things are thus, experience is highly valued, and when it comes to money you have to listen, because if you listen and pay close attention to the advice, it is possible that they will help us at any time in our lives , whether it is in the game or not , but in an event where money is risked, you should always listen to those who know best.

With respect to having all these advices and good vibes that sometimes the most expert players can give us, it is difficult not to feel a little remorseful if we bet a lot and then lose, because it is money that we lose, that is, with that money I would have bought myself. X thing, however, they preferred to play and lose, those are the things that our brain thinks about in an instant, maybe that is what gives us remorse, but how many of us have not gone through moments like these? I think that we have all experienced very large losses that have made us reflect on our behavior, this is a good thing to pass because you have to have a lot of respect for gambling and sports betting, we cannot leave at once because this is easy and that we will anyone does and that it is easy to win, here in gambling specifically in the casinos, when we lose it is because we wanted to lose that amount, that is, an amount that we agreed to risk to win or lose, we must always start from that thought so as not to feel bad, and move on, in life you lose and win, we must learn to cope with our failures to learn from them, sometimes it is difficult to overcome situations like this, because as I said before, what we risk is money, we get sad if we lose, but if we win we celebrate like never before, those are the benefits that casinos have for us, we must always take into account what we can lose.

but again they lose and feel remorse, and at this point the situation becomes more serious because the person does not have the money to pay bills and, as an aggravating factor, the person also does not have the money to pay the debt he made to gamble again, the person starts panic and think about killing himself, and the more days go by without getting money to pay bills and debt, that person's situation gets worse, so it's always good that when someone makes a mistake of taking the money destined to pay bills and playing and lose, tell the whole truth to get help early
It is because of this that professional gamblers keep two different budgets, one for their everyday expenses and another one for their gambling activities and they never mix the two, that way if they happen to lose all the money they had dedicated to gambling at the time then they will just stop gambling for a time until they can assign more money to that budget without compromising the money dedicated to their other expenses, and this is a strategy that we must adopt as well if we do not want to suffer losses while we gamble that we may later regret.

You have a valid point which is one of the many reasons why gamblers regret what they did. Basically, mistakes always come late, at gambling it comes after they lose and fail to get the win they expected. There's definitely no good reason why they should be sorry if they failed to consider the risks of gambling in the first place, that's the gambler's problem that gets exposed all too often.

I don't regret losing, it's part of the game to risk losing like gambling. So far I'm just trying to minimize the problems that arise from gambling, that includes having a budget limit for gambling and not gambling as often as possible.

I not sure if everyone regret just a day or two because someone who has a healthy mindset after regret a mistake at gambling he will not come back and stay away from gambling.
If someone is like that, that's a normal thing for a gambler to experience. Regrets are always at the end of the action that we do and if it's with gambling, whenever we lose a little or a lot of money, we're there to just admit the mistake and then will call it a regret and will think of something better. It doesn't matter how long has been one able to regret his actions, be it one or two days after he has gambled as long as it's the end of his gambling activity then that should be still enough to say as a regret because it's at the end of it.
While feeling regret once we have lost more money than what we wanted during a particular session is a good sign, it is important that actions are taken based on that regret, as there are a lot of people out there which regret what they did but when presented with the opportunity they do the very same thing they regret anyway, and in that case regret is useless, gamblers need to use those feelings so something like that never happens to them again, otherwise it is pointless to feel that way.
I'm agree with what you said if you make the same mistake several times and experience a loss it's not a feeling of regret it's just like a lost dinner.
Many of us have experienced or even still do that because naturally this is a problem with risking money which then losing the feeling of losing this money triggers our minds to become unstable and think of chasing losses which always deposit money to chase defeat even though the first defeat feels regret but all that means nothing.
There are no regrets in gambling for me because if it was really a gambler who regretted they would leave gambling and would never touch the gambling table at any time but it turns out that most of us still come back to gamble even though it's been 1 year and that's not regret for me

If you already developed the addiction, yes but there are still gamblers who has a control of their selves. They know they need to stick on their limits no matter what happens because they know that being addicted to it is going to be hard task to handle.

When I play I don't really hope that I can hit the jackpot because they are difficult to get but if we get lucky, then it can only come to us naturally. Depending on how big our loss is, the remorse feeling can also go longer or shorter but I think for a heavily addicted gambler, they are already immune to this feeling and for the controlled gambler, they can hardly feel it as well because they only play with smaller amounts.

While feeling regret once we have lost more money than what we wanted during a particular session is a good sign, it is important that actions are taken based on that regret, as there are a lot of people out there which regret what they did but when presented with the opportunity they do the very same thing they regret anyway, and in that case regret is useless, gamblers need to use those feelings so something like that never happens to them again, otherwise it is pointless to feel that way.
we always get that feeling of regret when we have lost a particular game, but that does not guarantee a stop to it,theoment you are used to gambling, that is to say that as long as you have turned an addict to gambling, whether you have that feeling of regret or not,you will still go again gambling because it is already in your blood, and there is nothing you can do about it except you travel entirely from that particular location that you were going on daily basis to gamble.
We all know that gambling is a two way thing, and the believe that one day,it will surely be our turn will not let us stop it.I know how many times I have gotten rid of my phone just because I don't want to gamble,I regret sometimes when I have lost, but the most annoying part of it is that I won't still stop because it is already in the blood stream.
