I'm trying to sell something to the muggles over the road.  They have four cars and not enough parking spaces.  I have a spare parking space.  "how much to rent your parking space?" asked the bloke from across the road.  My reply was "0.2 BTC per month".  That got "duh?".  Should I let you guys know how this goes?

I just booked a flight last week in our local travel agency  Grin

I asked him, how often the customers pay with bitcoin. Apparently once a week...

Wow awesome your local travel agency directly accepts bitcoin as payment?

I posted in the other thread in the past that I want our local travel agencies here to accepts bitcoin as mode of payment. Im really looking forward to it.

Me and my girl always do travel and out of town several times a year. If bitcoin will accepted by local travel agencies here, it will help us lessen the hassle when placing books by depositing such of our fiat amount especially if theres a promo because it only lasts in a matter of minutes because many waiting for it thats why you need to be fast.

Loose lips sink sigs!
It's kind of shocking that post was made in 2015.

Bitcoin is money. What's this "have you used it as real money" talk?

It's nonsense!

Yes, I bought some 90% silver coins for btc, and the use of btc was completely unnecessary.   Could have used cash just as easily and in fact I had a problem getting the fucking coins out of my mycelium wallet.  I saw no advantage to it.

And still most people I know don't even know what bitcoin is.

No, I wasn't able to find a single merchant where I live that accepts Bitcoin for payment, so unluckily I am not able to buy physical goods for Bitcoins. But, I was able to purchase Domain names, webhosting and digital games online with ease.

I have used bitcoin as a payment method in real life several times. Mostly in Cafes and Bars but I hope more shops are going to accept bitcoin where I live

I envy you. I hope we have that here too. I might be in that cafe everyday if that will be the case in our country. Sometimes I dont have real cash but I know I have money but its bitcoin and I cant use it easily, need to in cash it first.

You must not live in a place with a Starbucks. I thought they were everywhere even in Iraq I've seen pictures of soldiers going into a camp with a logo on the side of a make shift café.
They accept bitcoin as a form of payment with an app serving as the middle man to make it happen.

Then you must be living in a one of the developed country. In my country it is not possible to spend bitcoin in physical unless I own bitcoin debit card. As of now I can spend bitcoin only through online for buying any digital goods.

Bitcoin is a global currency generally and commonly accepted worldwide. But, still buying physical or real goods through btc has not been yet possible mostly.
Reasons behind this is that local retailers and dealers don't know about bitcoins and don't use it generally, and in most cases in countries like india, so myself I haven't bought physical goods, but I hope to do so soon.

After several big pump and small dump of bitcoin, the main stream news media will report bitcoin. Bitcoin will be famous. Of course I do not like big dump.
