I bought a lot of Litecoin mining equipment and other electronics from Amazon using Bitcoin, paying through snapCard when they acted as a personal payment processor prior to them becoming a wallet provider.

I purchased a Lamassu 'Douro' Bitcoin ATM with Bitcoin for roughly $6,500 (which I subsequently had to get a refund for due to personal circumstances.)

Yesterday I bought my lunch in a café in Dublin, Ireland, which accetps Bitcoin (Busyfeet & Coco Cafe), and I purchase things on Amazon now using https://all4btc.com/.

Previously bought laptop docking stations in person from a guy, so real-world, individual purchases too.  Smiley

Buy my first sofa set in our new house earlier using my saved bitcoins. Smiley

Like I said in the other thread, I entered family life last month and we are starting from a scratch.

With current btc price kicking it's not advisable to do dump but these are my coins and I can do whatever I want.

That is fantastic, did you use the bitcoin directly to buy the sofa?
Or you exchanged first from bitcoin to cash then bought that?
I was near to deal to buy a phone yesterday but i we couldn't deal as i required +5% Smiley Hope one day i will buy any electronic.

Bought an iPhone case from newegg last week.

That is the excellent use of bitcoins. Wish Newegg will hold the coin for some time, not just exchange it for fiat. This will increase the value.

Yes even if the bitcoins  called  ecurrency you can buy it anything you want. Honestly i use bitcoin and exchange it to real money to buy our foods and renting my house..

Indeed Bitcoin nowadays is real currency, some people tried to call it everytime as "virtual currency" but i think they re wrong. Because simply we can use Bitcoin totally as the other currencies to buy food and drinks, to purchase goods and services as you noticed here

The proper term would be Ethereal currency i suppose? Its not gold but its not really any more or less real than FIAT which is pretty intangible too, since its just a value written on paper, or plastic nowadays.

I've never seen BTC anywhere in the real world in the UK, plus doesn't BTC have like 30 minutes + send time? That must have been an awkward wait Tongue

Depends on how much fee is included on the payment. Usually it takes around 20-30 mins. or less if you put the normal fee which is 0.0001.

That is one problem I find in transacting with bitcoins irl. Even getting a single confirmation takes several minutes. It is kinda slow for a fast-paced business imo.
You can have a nice coffee and chit chat with the buyer/seller while waiting for the confirmation, you know, getting to know each other Roll Eyes

Love me love my Bitcoin.
I have purchased a few things on Overstock and bought that with BTC.  A few movies/tv shows and it was all thanks to BTC.  I would love to be able to go to the store and use my BTC, but not enough places around me actually accept that so I am sort of waiting on that.

I believe some shops will start accepting bitcoin soon.

I'm going to a pizza place on Tuesday that accepts Bitcoin!  I've bought plenty of things online with BTC, but never over-the-counter.  Once while I was passing through a bigger city, I stopped to find a Bitcoin ATM, but the place I found was out of business, and the other ones listed in the area were all closed because it was Sunday.

Never mind, the pizza place said the owner wasn't there so they couldn't accept Bitcoin.

It was my mum's birthday yesterday. And I wanted to buy a birthday cake for her, but when I reached the bread shop, I realized I forgot carrying my wallet and I had only a few bucks in my pocket.  I tried to talk to the boss of the shop if I can pay by bitcoin, to my surprise, she said YES and finally I paid the cake by bitcoin.  Grin

This is my first time to use BTC as real money buying a real physical goods.

As a bitcoiner, using BTC online is very common.  Have you ever used Bitcoin as Real money to buy Real/physical goods?  plz share your experience.   Wink
