We're still having ongoing discussions with our legal team in order to keep Havelock operational.

so it could be your legals advise you to close your operations?

it seems that at least in the USA these types of exchangs  are explicitly illegal, so maybe you should take some action on that like blocking USA's ip addresses?

We're going to wait and see what our legal team says before taking any action.  Our goal is obviously to keep Havelock operational.

Could what happened to BTC.TC also happen with Havelock? What is the legal situation in Canada regarding virtual exchanges?

We don't know exactly whhy BTC-TC decided to close operations, only what's been mentioned on the threads.  We're still having ongoing discussions with our legal team in order to keep Havelock operational.

As an off-side was talking with Milo from Emgateway and was wondering if your legal team is running into similar issues.
As a recommendation sometimes it makes more sense to get it going then work on the regulators  Smiley

We don't actually know what BTC-TC's issues were so I can't even say if they are similar.

Some serious news just went down on BTCT
First question: Has there been any changes with the status of the exchange
Second Question: Lightbox or Havelock are you looking at acquiring any of their listings

Referring to this

The only change is we suspended trading and transfers of LABCO until the underlying asset sorts out the details.

We're not actively looking to acquire any of their listings until we have more details on the situation.

Thanks for the clarification  Smiley

Is there a way to view the trades that happen on a given security via the API? I have found the book and the ticker, but no trades. E.g. this call from btct:

Quote
Trade history for a specific asset   https://btct.co/api/tradeHistory/COGNITIVE (optionally add: ?range=all)

I have issues with accessing HI with Firefox. When I go to the order book I don't see the buy / sell columns and the value of my coins isn't displayed on the right top side of the screen. I resorted using Internet Explorer accessing the HI site.

Hello all, we're temporarily having technical issues with the site. We're investigating the issue and working to get back up and running

And we're back up.  Thanks for your patience.

A new public offering is NOW AVAILABLE for Dealco.in (DEALCO) on Havelock.
Total Units: 50000
Maximum Units Per User: 10000
Price: 0.01000000BTC/unit

https://www.havelockinvestments.com/fund.php?symbol=DEALCO

Congrats on a successful IPO
Feedback:
Perhaps an upgrade on IPO bandwidth for those days where a lot of demand happens on the IPO  Cheesy
Afterwards it settles down again just to handle those spikes.

Thanks for the feedback.  Definitely something we're looking at.

My money; Our Bitcoin.

-I would also love to see the ability to see a total of all dividends received by a particular security.
