Damn, missed the drop. Didn't bother with a buy order because I didn't think it would go that low.
I started doing some work yesterday...
My numbers showed that by the time the mine is unprofitable(November), there will be ~275BTC in the reinvestment fund and .0105 BTC will have been paid out per share in dividends.
My assumptions were:
1% daily hash growth rate(conservative)
Steady BTC value
Steady Hosting fees
I don't believe there is much of a chance to recover from the situation, but it starts with hosting cost cuts. Reinvestment percentage adjustment may help, but that also adds a lot of risk into the equation. A surge in bitcoin price may also paint a brighter picture. Loans are not the answer.
I intended on building a full featured simulation, but I didn't get that far as the numbers scared me away. It is half baked and unfinished, but here is what I was looking at.

There were 400 shares for sale at .03 and they didn't sell. I was waiting on confirmations...

Really not sure at this point what the plan is. Haven't heard anything on the custom chip front for sometime and Cryptx is notorious for not giving much info to us little shareholders apparently so doubtful he will be piping in anytime soon. Still thinking these are a steal for now though...waiting on a few coins to hit so I can pick up 1 or 2 more shares while they are this low.
I've never heard anything about custom chips in relation to PetaMine, ever.
Cryptx updates shareholders every Friday, so I'm not sure how he's "notorious" for not giving us any info.
He will probably "pipe up" next Friday.

This is nuts. I can't believe one asshole on a forum can crash the stock of a project with such a strong track record. Havelock is still just a sandbox, after all. I look forward to these markets finally growing up.

yea i couldnt resist either, its certainly more reasuring someone else with more knowledge than me, is doin the same. has peta had any similar types of crashes like today.( dont mean to harass u bout things, thats the last question, i swear ,hahaha) thanks for helping the un informed by the way.Panic selling is what I'm waiting for.
